This foundation has incredible adherence and absorbs beautifully. The skin finish is top-notch - I'm sticking with this one for sure. My friends were so impressed they immediately wanted to buy it too. Even with my super sensitive skin, it doesn't cause any blemishes. There's hardly anything to complain about. The amount is just right. It's fantastic! Make sure to do thorough skincare beforehand, as it might feel a bit drying otherwise. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 11, 2020
First off, I was drawn to this product because of its appealing packaging and really wanted to give it a try. I have sensitive combination skin that gets quite sweaty when it's hot. Application: Excellent Adherence: Excellent - It seems like all the recent drugstore products have great application and adherence. Coverage: Above average - You can immediately feel the coverage as soon as you apply it! Lately, I've had a lot of blemish marks, so concealer has been a must, but with this, I can skip it. Longevity: Average Overall, it's a decent foundation with good coverage. They also offer a mini size, which is great for carrying around. After a little while, it tends to dry out, giving a slightly cakey appearance. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinOct 14, 2020
It gives your skin that 'I just slathered on my skincare' look. I was surprised by how well this moisturizing foundation covers, even better than the Yves Saint Laurent cream foundation I used before. The staying power and adherence to the skin are also quite good. When worn for a long time, it gets quite oily. While darkening isn't severe, it does get quite shiny after extended wear. Despite how it looks on the surface, it doesn't feel particularly hydrating deep down in the skin. Those looking for a yellow-based shade 21 might simply choose this color, but it's quite different from the typical shade 21 on the market. It's closer to shade 22. If you don't like a muted tone, you might prefer the cool 21. I often mix it with a lighter shade of Double Wear for the right match. - Hwahae UserDry SkinOct 7, 2020
The adherence is great and the coverage is quite good. It finishes with a matte feel, which is perfect for long hours of mask-wearing these days! I love how it barely transfers to the mask and stays put on the skin. The color is neutral, so it looks natural. Usually, shade 21 is a bit light for me, but with this product, although it might seem bright at first, once it settles, it matches my natural complexion beautifully. I'm very satisfied! • Skin's oil and moisture balance - Those with dry skin should definitely focus on thorough moisturizing before applying this. I have slightly dry skin, and because this product has a matte finish, I felt quite dry after application. • Complexion - The Neutral 21 shade has a slightly more yellow undertone compared to typical 21 shades. It might look more natural on those with slightly yellow undertones, but it could appear a bit unnatural on very fair skin. • Try mixing with a moisturizer! - The product itself does have a matte, adherent finish, which can be drying. While proper skincare is important, mixing the product with a bit of moisturizer or oil can make it work well even in dry autumn and winter months. • Avoid damp sponges! - Many people use damp sponges to add moisture when applying foundation, right? I often do too, but this product adheres to the skin quickly and doesn't transfer well to a damp sponge, making it difficult to blend. It's important to use a dry sponge or gently pat it in with the warmth of your hands for this product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 7, 2020
The Hwahae Testers' experience review: Adhesion: Until recently, I was using cushion foundations, which left significant marks on my mask. This foundation adheres well to the skin, resulting in minimal transfer to masks - a feature I really appreciate! Note that individual results may vary depending on the application method. Longevity: Personally, I prefer semi-matte foundations. This product initially feels moisturizing but sets to a lovely semi-matte finish, which I find fantastic! Color: The shade 21 Neutral has a strong yellow undertone and isn't particularly bright. I was hoping for a slightly more radiant color. If you prefer a brighter complexion like me, you might want to consider purchasing a lighter shade. Pump dispensing: The amount dispensed with one pump was more than expected, which was a bit disappointing. Improving this aspect could make the product more convenient to use. My application method: First, I apply the foundation with a Fillimilli brush to cover pores, then I pat it in with a Happy Rim sponge. This technique seems to provide better adhesion compared to using just a brush or sponge alone. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinOct 7, 2020
This is a review from The Hwahae Testers I'm someone who prefers foundation over cushion compacts. I do my base makeup using concealer and foundation with a puff or brush. Please note that I have dry skin that seems to absorb a lot of product, no matter how thick I apply my makeup. 1. Adherence It feels like it instantly clings to the face, you don't need to pat it in multiple times to feel it adhere to your skin. 2. Coverage I have acne scars on my face, and usually when foundation doesn't cover well, I use a brush to apply it, which tends to work better. With this product, while it doesn't noticeably provide high coverage, it does a good job covering redness and small blemishes. 3. Skin Appearance Honestly, the coverage isn't particularly high. However, it creates a natural skin look, and as you'll see in other reviews, unless you need very heavy coverage, it can make your skin look quite good. You might feel that pleasant 'my makeup looks great today' sensation right after applying it. 4. Volume As I mentioned earlier, I'm used to sticking with foundation, even carrying it in a small container when I go out. But this product comes in a 10ml size, which is great for portability, and I'm very satisfied that I don't have to worry about decanting it. In conclusion, the biggest merit of this product is its size. It's really great for going out and fits easily into small bags. It's perfect for those just starting with foundation or who use it sparingly! Especially nowadays when we're wearing masks, you might prefer lighter makeup over heavy coverage. The foundation itself adheres well when applied, so it feels light! It doesn't feel stuffy at all. You know how some people like to put on makeup even for quick outings? It's super convenient as you only need to pat it on a little. Even better, unlike some foundations that won't come off even after cleansing 2-3 times, this one removes easily. It's so convenient when cleansing! However, these are all personal opinions. Given the small size, I think it's not a bad idea to buy and try it out. A large amount can be burdensome if it doesn't suit you... For those with dry skin, you need to apply a solid base makeup before using this. It has a somewhat matte finish, so it can be drying! It's best to apply after exfoliating. Some say it breaks down strangely over time, but with this product, even when it does break down, it's not too bad. However! There is some caking to be aware of. Adherence? Not bad. But the problem is that it transfers a bit. While it can't be completely transfer-proof, you should expect some transfer even after using a setting spray. - Hwahae UserDry SkinOct 5, 2020
This is a review from The Hwahae Testers! Let me first describe my skin type and makeup style! I always apply foundation with my hands and quickly finish before work in the morning, using just one layer of concealer and foundation. My skin doesn't show it on the surface, but it's very dry and absorbs a lot of product. I'm always dealing with dryness from being stuck in the office all day! 1. Adherence: Excellent This is crucial when I'm in a rush! I don't even have 5 minutes to pat it in, so it needs to stick to my face quickly. And since I have to wear a mask, this is a really important point - and the adherence is truly great! 2. Coverage: Good It covers most uneven texture and pores well! I don't typically have many blemishes, so it's perfect for me. 3. Cleansing: Excellent When I apply it with my hands and wash with foam cleanser for 10-15 seconds, it comes off quite easily! 4. Application: Good It spreads well even when quickly applied with hands. 5. Finish: Excellent It has a semi-matte finish, and I really love that it doesn't transfer much due to its great adherence! 1. The amount dispensed in one pump is a bit much! Since I don't use a brush or puff, the amount is a bit excessive and applies thickly. From the second time, I had to adjust the amount as I applied. 2. It's drying (This is why I took off one star) Of course, when first applied, there isn't a strong feeling of dryness. But in the afternoon, there's more flaking around the nose compared to other foundations. 3. Having to shake before use This is surprisingly annoying... I keep forgetting to do it. There's a noticeable difference in how it applies when shaken vs. not shaken, causing the makeup to look somewhat patchy? Anyway, please make it so we don't have to shake it! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 5, 2020
♡Review after being selected as a Hwahae Tester♡ As a foundation enthusiast who often uses foreign brands, I was thrilled with this product's compact size. It doesn't take up much space in my makeup pouch, which is fantastic. Although the color initially seemed a bit light, it naturally adjusted over time without any greyish tone-down (no ashy undertones). It adhered beautifully to my skin. First off, I'm really impressed with the ingredients. A tiny amount provides incredible coverage. The coverage is so perfect that you might not even need concealer. It seems to achieve that elusive 'thin yet full coverage' foundation we all dream of. As expected from a brand known for its concealers, I didn't have high hopes for their foundation. But I'm pleasantly surprised - it's just as satisfying as their concealers. It's less sticky than most, so I could lightly set it with powder and comfortably wear a mask. Despite my skin being prone to small blemishes from foundations, I didn't experience any significant breakouts in two weeks. I'm planning to purchase other shades. Given its great value for money, it might be fun to mix and match different colors. There weren't many downsides. Maybe if I had to nitpick, I wish each pump dispensed a slightly smaller amount? But since I usually use just a little bit anyway, I don't have any major complaints ♡ Using a wedge sponge, apply it in a dry state (I've tried various application methods, but for mask-wearing these days) It gives a wonderfully matte finish, making it great for mask makeup without much trouble. Even on darker skin tones, you can apply it in thin layers without much patchiness. It works well with both brushes and sponges. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 4, 2020
The Hwahae Testers review here! I was lucky enough to be selected as a Hwahae Tester and used this product for two weeks. Here's my honest review: ♥ Adherence The adherence is top-notch, it's really amazing! I use a foundation brush, and from the first application, it feels delightfully smooth and elastic. ♥ Longevity It applies with a velvety texture and finishes as a semi-matte, which contributes to its excellent staying power. ♥ Coverage and Wear The coverage is good, and it creates a beautiful skin finish. Most importantly, it wears beautifully throughout the day. I consider graceful wear crucial, and with this, I barely need to touch up once or twice! ♥ Color I have a deep undertone and usually use shade 21. The Neutral 21 matched me perfectly. ✨ On the first day I wore this, I kept my other makeup the same and only changed the foundation. A colleague at work said, 'You look prettier than usual today! Did your makeup turn out especially well?' I was so pleased and told her I had only changed my foundation! ♥ Depending on your skin type, it might feel a bit dry. If you have dry skin, I recommend layering your skincare thoroughly! ♥ While the adherence is excellent, it does transfer a bit to masks. However, to be honest, I haven't used any product that doesn't transfer at all. So I'm still very satisfied with this! I have some blemishes and acne scars. Instead of trying to cover them completely with a thick layer, I recommend applying a thin, even layer - like you're coating your skin! Given its good longevity and beautiful wear, if you take care to apply a thin, even layer without getting greedy, you'll achieve a truly beautiful complexion! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 27, 2020
I was lucky enough to win this from The Hwahae Testers, but surprisingly, I received the Cool shade instead of Neutral! The foundation size is small and cute, making it perfect for travel without taking up much space. When I first applied it to my hand, it felt like it would adhere smoothly and give a glowy finish. However, once applied to the face, it sets to a powder-like finish, which is ideal for these mask-wearing times. I think it would be perfect if you apply this product and then set it with a powder. As for the color, being Cool 21, it seems to have more of a pink undertone than I expected. The coverage isn't that high when I tried to cover some blemishes. However, it does provide some skin evening effect when applied all over. If you need more coverage, I think adding a bit of concealer would do the trick! If you have warm undertones, this might work better for those without redness rather than those with it, as it could give a brighter look. It seems like it would suit cool-toned or oily skin types well! Since it's on the matte side, for a better makeup application, try using a damp beauty sponge - it should give you a prettier skin finish!
