The coverage seems pretty good, and I like that it comes in a 10ml size. For someone who doesn't wear makeup often, 30ml is just too much. It sets too quickly, so you have to blend it right away. Also, it seems to slightly emphasize dead skin cells. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 23, 2022
I'd recommend this for those who don't want overly dry skin in winter but also find a super shiny complexion overwhelming. The semi-matte formula is perfect for that balance! While I don't have many blemishes, my overall skin tone isn't very even, so I need some coverage. This product works great for everyday use without being too heavy. It doesn't break down messily, making touch-ups easy. Plus, the price point is reasonable, so I plan to repurchase in the future. I usually use shade 22, but after reading reviews that shade 21 runs a bit dark, I bought 21 and it was a perfect match. However, this might be too dark for those with fairer skin. For best results, apply a thin layer of foundation with your fingers, then use a damp, well-squeezed sponge to pat and layer the product. This technique helps it apply smoothly and increases its longevity! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 15, 2022
The coverage is pretty good. With this and a touch of concealer, it seems to hide almost everything. It's a bit on the matte side, so it can make your face feel slightly tight. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 4, 2021
The coverage was pretty good, I'd say. And since it's a matte foundation, the staying power was decent too. It might not have agreed with my skin type, as I experienced some itching. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 11, 2020
First off, I was drawn to this product because of its appealing packaging and really wanted to give it a try. I have sensitive combination skin that gets quite sweaty when it's hot. Application: Excellent Adherence: Excellent - It seems like all the recent drugstore products have great application and adherence. Coverage: Above average - You can immediately feel the coverage as soon as you apply it! Lately, I've had a lot of blemish marks, so concealer has been a must, but with this, I can skip it. Longevity: Average Overall, it's a decent foundation with good coverage. They also offer a mini size, which is great for carrying around. After a little while, it tends to dry out, giving a slightly cakey appearance. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinOct 14, 2020
It gives your skin that 'I just slathered on my skincare' look. I was surprised by how well this moisturizing foundation covers, even better than the Yves Saint Laurent cream foundation I used before. The staying power and adherence to the skin are also quite good. When worn for a long time, it gets quite oily. While darkening isn't severe, it does get quite shiny after extended wear. Despite how it looks on the surface, it doesn't feel particularly hydrating deep down in the skin. Those looking for a yellow-based shade 21 might simply choose this color, but it's quite different from the typical shade 21 on the market. It's closer to shade 22. If you don't like a muted tone, you might prefer the cool 21. I often mix it with a lighter shade of Double Wear for the right match. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 12, 2020
As one of The Hwahae Testers, I'm sharing my review. I usually just use concealer, so this was my first time trying foundation. It was better than I expected! I have combination dehydrated skin, and even slightly drying products make my skin flake. But this one doesn't do that at all. It gives a nice glow and covers pores well, which I love. I think I need to use a shade darker... It slightly emphasizes skin texture... If you dust on a bit of powder, you can easily achieve a matte finish. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinOct 8, 2020
Although I haven't used it extensively yet, this product performs decently in terms of coverage, longevity, and overall skin appearance. It seems to offer good value for the price! I was a bit disappointed that it still transfers quite a bit onto my mask, indicating that it doesn't fully adhere to the skin. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinOct 8, 2020
1. Good coverage - it effectively covers blemishes, acne scars, and light spots. 2. Smooth application - it glides on softly and feels moisturizing whether applied with a puff or fingers, leaving a smooth and hydrated sensation. 3. Great value for money (30ml for 18000 won) - if you're looking for a foundation with decent coverage and hydration, this is worth trying. Transfers easily - due to COVID-19, we're wearing masks most of the time, and even when applied with a puff for better adherence, it still transfers. For combination dehydrated skin, especially in the T-zone, it tends to separate and doesn't adhere well. It seems to break down faster than expected when wearing a mask. For warm undertones in the 19-21 shade range, it appears quite yellow and slightly darker compared to other foundations. As it's a bit dark for my 19-21 shade range skin, those with lighter complexions might find it useful as a concealer. The coverage is decent, and it's best applied in small amounts and blended out well. - Hwahae UserDry SkinOct 7, 2020
The adherence is great and the coverage is quite good. It finishes with a matte feel, which is perfect for long hours of mask-wearing these days! I love how it barely transfers to the mask and stays put on the skin. The color is neutral, so it looks natural. Usually, shade 21 is a bit light for me, but with this product, although it might seem bright at first, once it settles, it matches my natural complexion beautifully. I'm very satisfied! • Skin's oil and moisture balance - Those with dry skin should definitely focus on thorough moisturizing before applying this. I have slightly dry skin, and because this product has a matte finish, I felt quite dry after application. • Complexion - The Neutral 21 shade has a slightly more yellow undertone compared to typical 21 shades. It might look more natural on those with slightly yellow undertones, but it could appear a bit unnatural on very fair skin. • Try mixing with a moisturizer! - The product itself does have a matte, adherent finish, which can be drying. While proper skincare is important, mixing the product with a bit of moisturizer or oil can make it work well even in dry autumn and winter months. • Avoid damp sponges! - Many people use damp sponges to add moisture when applying foundation, right? I often do too, but this product adheres to the skin quickly and doesn't transfer well to a damp sponge, making it difficult to blend. It's important to use a dry sponge or gently pat it in with the warmth of your hands for this product.
