  Pros

  This was my first time using a refillable cleansing balm, and I found it quite fascinating. I love that you can use just the amount you need, and it's hygienic too. I think this type of product packaging could become more common in the future, which would be great. I was satisfied with how well it removed lip and eye makeup, and what I liked most was how gently it cleansed without irritating my skin. Perhaps due to the vitamin ingredients, my skin felt refreshed and bright after use.

  While I was a bit disappointed that it didn't completely remove lip stains, everything else about the product was excellent.

  Pros

  Hygienic case design! When using the balm type, I often switch from a spatula to my fingers, but this case dispenses just the right amount you need. It's so convenient! The cleansing effectiveness was better than expected! I was surprised it even removed mascara. It's great not needing a separate lip and eye remover. After massaging it well, it seemed to dissolve sebum effectively. I've always found balm types less satisfying compared to oils, but this one truly impressed me!

  Cons

  Given the soft texture, I wonder if it will dispense evenly when the weather gets hotter. Also, when dispensing, some product gets stuck on the sides, which needs to be wiped off each time. It's a bit cumbersome, but I guess it's something to accept given the case design.

  I was amazed to see a grind-type cleansing balm, as I'd only seen it in Dalba cushions before. The usage method is fascinating - you turn it clockwise, and the cleansing balm grinds out smoothly. The product's yellow color was also quite pretty. Usually, I found using a spatula to scoop out product inconvenient and not very hygienic, but this method is so convenient and sanitary. When I used the right amount for cleansing, it rolled on nicely and removed makeup really well. I don't typically wear heavy eye makeup (eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, etc.), but it effectively removed my light makeup. The packaging color was fresh and pretty, giving off a lovely spring vibe!

  1. After just 5 days of use, no matter how much I turned it, it stopped grinding. Eventually, the container broke. The lid won't close properly, and when I force it shut, the balm grinds up. While the grind-type was meant to be hygienic and convenient, the broken container has made it even more inconvenient to use. 2. The scent was really off-putting. At first, it had a subtle vitamin drink fragrance, but after a while, it started to smell like unpleasant oil. The scent makes me uncomfortable every time I use it. 3. The product seems overpriced. Currently, there are many top-rated cleansing balms with double the volume at less than half the price, or even cheaper.

  The texture is your typical cleansing balm. Compared to Banila Co, it's less oily, making the second cleanse easier. In my experience, it removes mascara well and cleanses effectively. However, I can't really compare it to my usual routine of cleansing cream + low pH foam, as that works well too. Texture-wise, the balm is smoother than cream and has a rich feel, so you don't need to rub your face as much, which is nice. The grinder feature keeps dust and water out, making it more hygienic. While you don't need to store a separate spatula, which is convenient, you do need to wipe the grinder part after use.

  Cons

  The scent is a mix of fresh lemon and something oily, which I'm not a fan of. I think I would have preferred it to be fragrance-free.

  I loved that it's a grind-type product, allowing me to dispense just the right amount I need, which is very hygienic. Being a vegan cleanser, I was worried it might not cleanse well, but when I massaged it onto my skin, it effectively removed sebum and even whiteheads. Despite being a vegan product, its cleansing power was excellent. I have dry skin, so I often use balm products, but sometimes they can pill. However, this Grind Vita Cleansing Balm melts smoothly without any pilling, making it perfect for rolling and cleansing on the skin. As a vegan product, it didn't irritate my eyes, and after washing, my skin felt hydrated and refreshed without any tightness. The subtle lemongrass scent was also quite pleasant.

  There wasn't anything I found disappointing while using this product!

  Tip

  As a busy parent, I haven't been wearing makeup or paying much attention to my skin lately, leaving it looking dull. But since I started using the Prebiotics Grind Vita Cleansing Balm before washing, massaging it in circular motions daily, my dead skin cells and whiteheads have disappeared. Of course, my skin has become more hydrated too. If I can offer a pro tip, use it daily with a massage-like rolling motion for best results!
