Reviewer's skin type: Combination dehydrated skin, sensitive with redness and blemishes, thin skin Recently, my skin barrier has been compromised, so I've been minimizing my skincare routine. I've been using Make P:rem Low pH Cleansing Foam as my cleanser. 1. Cleansing effectiveness Since cleansing power is the most important aspect of a cleansing product, I checked how well it removes base makeup. With one use, it dissolves and removes most makeup, but for waterproof products (mascara, eyeliner), I recommend using a separate lip and eye remover. 2. Scent The scent is like... rubber mask? It has an artificial scent similar to some wash-off masks with a rubber smell. It might be a bit surprising at first, but you seem to get used to it as you use it... However, those sensitive to fragrances should take note. 3. Irritation I have sensitive skin, so I was worried about clogged pores causing blemishes or potential irritation from using a cleansing balm, but there were no issues at all! From the start, when I checked the ingredients, there weren't many problematic ones, so I used it with confidence. 4. Packaging I really like that the packaging allows you to dispense the product for each use instead of scooping it out, which is much more hygienic. Just be sure to wipe off any excess that might come out on the sides when you turn it clockwise and dispense the product.
Cons1. Scent As mentioned above, the scent is somewhat artificial and has a rubber-like smell, which bothered me every time I used it. Those sensitive to fragrances should keep this in mind before using.

Packaging Unlike typical cleansing balms that require a spatula, which can be inconvenient and less hygienic, this product features a grinding mechanism. This allows for a more sanitary application, which I really appreciate. 2. Texture Compared to other cleansing balms, this one doesn't clump up or fall off during use. Instead, it melts smoothly as you massage it in, making it very pleasant to use.
Cons1. Scent It has a lemon-herb like fragrance that comes across as somewhat artificial. This might be a hit or miss for some people. 2. Cleansing effectiveness As someone who usually uses cleansing oils, I felt this cleansing balm wasn't quite as effective in comparison. While cleansing oils can help manage blackheads and sebum, this balm didn't seem to reach that level of deep cleansing.

The best part is you don't have to scoop it out with your fingers or use a separate spoon, which is a huge plus!!! The texture isn't quite a sorbet, it's closer to a rich cream consistency. While I was surprised that it didn't remove brush pen liner well in a hand swatch test, it worked great on my whole face. It seems to be a matter of quantity... Apply generously and gently massage in circular motions for effective makeup removal.
ConsThe scent... As an art major, if you've ever experienced oil painting, you might know this... It smells like a mix of poppy oil and turpentine. Anyway, it has that oily scent..^^.. ......... It seems to be its signature fragrance, but to me it smells just like that.. Ugh, if you're in a similar field, I really don't recommend this. I was shocked!
TipWhen using, apply generously and massage in circular motions! Make sure your hands are completely dry!!

Cons1. As someone with acne-prone skin, I was worried. While it didn't cause more blemishes, it didn't improve my skin either. It was just so-so. 2. The scent is truly awful. It smells like vitamins that have been sitting for two years. I had to hold my breath when applying it because of the strong odor.
TipI don't have any particular tips to share. It was just an average product for me, and I can't really recommend it.
