It's less runny than typical cleansing oils, which is a plus. Ingredients and Sensitivity: As someone with severe redness and tightness after cleansing, I was pleasantly surprised. Thanks to its vegan formula, plant-based ingredients, and vitamin C content, it caused no irritation and less tightness. No stinging in the eyes either. Cleansing Effectiveness: This was my first full-size cleansing balm, so I wasn't sure about the right amount to use. I found that about three swirls were enough for a thorough cleanse. While it doesn't completely remove lip products, it does an excellent job with mascara and other makeup. Scent: Despite its lemon-yellow color, it doesn't have the expected citrusy scent. This might be disappointing for some, but it also means fewer artificial fragrances. The scent could be a hit or miss for some users. Standout Features: Unlike other cleansing balms, you don't need to scoop it out, which is more hygienic. It melts with body heat faster than expected, and it rinses off so well that you don't need to double cleanse. There's minimal residue left on the skin. It's hard to tell how much product is left (a transparent container would be nice). The price seems a bit high for the amount you get. It would be great if they offered refills so we could keep reusing the case. - gk******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMar 27, 2023Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

However, as the day progresses, my skin tends to produce more oil. Recently, I've been experiencing a lot of dead skin cells and small bumps on my skin! Texture: The texture is similar to the typical cleansing balm you might be familiar with! Scent: It has a scent reminiscent of soap mixed with vitamin C! Hydration: Compared to cleansing oils, I felt my skin was slightly more hydrated after the second cleanse! Blemishes: Some cleansing products can actually cause blemishes if they don't suit my skin. With this one, the existing small bumps didn't disappear, but no new ones appeared either! While it seems more hygienic than scooping out product from a jar, it's disappointing that you can't see how much product is left. - or******Combination SkinRecommendedMar 27, 2023Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Reviewer's skin type: Combination dehydrated skin, sensitive with redness and blemishes, thin skin Recently, my skin barrier has been compromised, so I've been minimizing my skincare routine. I've been using Make P:rem Low pH Cleansing Foam as my cleanser. 1. Cleansing effectiveness Since cleansing power is the most important aspect of a cleansing product, I checked how well it removes base makeup. With one use, it dissolves and removes most makeup, but for waterproof products (mascara, eyeliner), I recommend using a separate lip and eye remover. 2. Scent The scent is like... rubber mask? It has an artificial scent similar to some wash-off masks with a rubber smell. It might be a bit surprising at first, but you seem to get used to it as you use it... However, those sensitive to fragrances should take note. 3. Irritation I have sensitive skin, so I was worried about clogged pores causing blemishes or potential irritation from using a cleansing balm, but there were no issues at all! From the start, when I checked the ingredients, there weren't many problematic ones, so I used it with confidence. 4. Packaging I really like that the packaging allows you to dispense the product for each use instead of scooping it out, which is much more hygienic. Just be sure to wipe off any excess that might come out on the sides when you turn it clockwise and dispense the product. 1. Scent As mentioned above, the scent is somewhat artificial and has a rubber-like smell, which bothered me every time I used it. Those sensitive to fragrances should keep this in mind before using. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMar 27, 2023
This was my first time using a refillable cleansing balm, and I found it quite fascinating. I love that you can use just the amount you need, and it's hygienic too. I think this type of product packaging could become more common in the future, which would be great. I was satisfied with how well it removed lip and eye makeup, and what I liked most was how gently it cleansed without irritating my skin. Perhaps due to the vitamin ingredients, my skin felt refreshed and bright after use. While I was a bit disappointed that it didn't completely remove lip stains, everything else about the product was excellent. It's perfect for travel since you don't need to pack a separate makeup remover and cleanser. - na********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 26, 2023Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Packaging Unlike typical cleansing balms that require a spatula, which can be inconvenient and less hygienic, this product features a grinding mechanism. This allows for a more sanitary application, which I really appreciate. 2. Texture Compared to other cleansing balms, this one doesn't clump up or fall off during use. Instead, it melts smoothly as you massage it in, making it very pleasant to use. 1. Scent It has a lemon-herb like fragrance that comes across as somewhat artificial. This might be a hit or miss for some people. 2. Cleansing effectiveness As someone who usually uses cleansing oils, I felt this cleansing balm wasn't quite as effective in comparison. While cleansing oils can help manage blackheads and sebum, this balm didn't seem to reach that level of deep cleansing. - st********Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 26, 2023Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

True to its Vita Balm nature, it's packed with a lemon scent. The fragrance is strong but likely to be universally appealing. Usually, I remove makeup with oil first, then use foam cleanser twice. This made traveling and camping quite inconvenient. I'd worry about spillage when carrying products around! With this, there's no concern about spills, and no need to carry both oil and foam cleansers. It's incredibly simple and removes makeup thoroughly - I love it! There's not really anything to complain about, but if I had to nitpick, when you twist to dispense the balm, it leaves a bit of residue on the container. Also, while it's fine for me as I have dry skin, I'm not sure how people who avoid oily products might feel about it! A small amount is enough to remove all makeup, so it seems like it will last longer than expected. I'd give it top marks for not requiring multiple cleansing steps and being easy to carry around! In the photo, you can see some glitter and eyebrow makeup. I applied it too heavily trying to make it dark, which is why my skin looks a bit red. It's not leftover makeup residue! This cleanser removes everything thoroughly and effortlessly! - su*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 26, 2023Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Container: Grinding mechanism Unlike other cleansing balms, creams, or cosmetics that require scooping out product, this one was so convenient to use! Even if a product is good, I tend to reach for others if it's inconvenient for daily use. But with this, you just turn it like a millstone - so easy! Ingredients I love that it's free of 20 concerning ingredients and has skin-friendly components. I didn't experience any blemishes while using it. Easy to control amount The grinding mechanism made it simple to dispense just the right amount. Texture The sherbet-like texture allowed for a super gentle massage! It melted smoothly into my skin, allowing for irritation-free cleansing! Cleansing effectiveness It removed sunscreen and base makeup effectively. It didn't seem to completely remove mascara. Using an eye and lip remover first should solve this issue. Price While I found it comfortable and nice to use, I checked the price and thought it was a bit high for repurchasing. Checking remaining product Due to the container design, you can't see how much is left, which is a downside. Scent I've noticed a similar scent in other cleansing balms I've tried before - maybe it's characteristic of cleansing balms? It's slightly artificial and while not unpleasant, it's not a fragrance I particularly like. Those sensitive to scents might have mixed feelings about it. After-feel While it seemed to remove all makeup, there was a slight oily residue that made me feel a bit uncomfortable. I know it's not good to over-cleanse until your skin feels squeaky clean, but I didn't like the feeling of something left behind. As I prefer a fresh feeling after cleansing, I followed up with a foam cleanser! I think this product would be suitable even for those with super sensitive skin! - aa******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMar 25, 2023Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

The container The twist-to-use design is incredibly clever and convenient. It's also very hygienic and clean! With balm-type cleansers, I always had to keep a separate spatula or risk dropping it with wet hands, which was inconvenient. But that's not an issue with this one, which is great. 2. Gentleness Usually with balm or oil cleansers, I need to follow up with a foam cleanser to avoid that coated feeling. But with this one, my skin feels fresh without needing a second cleanse. Perhaps that's why I'm not experiencing any blemishes! The container is a bit large, so it's slightly inconvenient to carry around. Other than that, I have no complaints! - ch********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 25, 2023Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It seems more hygienic and better than the balm type you scoop out. I appreciated how gently it removed makeup! For those with super sensitive skin, I experienced some blemishes after use, so I had to stop using it. However, if you don't have sensitive skin, this product might work well for you. Also, as shown in the photo, it didn't completely remove long-lasting tints or eyeliners. For point makeup, I'd recommend using a separate makeup remover. - hy*****Dry SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 25, 2023Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

When using the balm type, I often switch from a spatula to my fingers, but this case dispenses just the right amount you need. It's so convenient! The cleansing effectiveness was better than expected! I was surprised it even removed mascara. It's great not needing a separate lip and eye remover. After massaging it well, it seemed to dissolve sebum effectively. I've always found balm types less satisfying compared to oils, but this one truly impressed me! Given the soft texture, I wonder if it will dispense evenly when the weather gets hotter. Also, when dispensing, some product gets stuck on the sides, which needs to be wiped off each time. It's a bit cumbersome, but I guess it's something to accept given the case design. You need to apply a bit of force when turning it the first time!
