The narrow opening allowed me to apply it evenly, reaching the scalp. After applying, I gently massaged it in with my fingertips, followed by shampooing. Her previously wild mane settled down beautifully! The attached photo is from her first haircut. She's had severe scalp dead skin cells since she was a newborn, and there are still traces left. We've tried every oil because of this... She's 6 now and still has some issues. She occasionally scratches her head as if it's itchy. I'm thrilled that this product claims to improve scalp dead skin cells and soothe the scalp, which should help with the itching. I wish we had found this product sooner!
ConsHowever, being an emulsion type, it looks greasy and clumps after application. So I end up using it before shampooing. The scent is an artificial herbal smell? Since it's for kids, I made sure to shampoo thoroughly afterwards.

Ceramides and MLE components help strengthen the skin barrier, providing moisturizing protection for delicate newborn scalps. - Texture: Light emulsion - Scent: Cool herbal aroma - Feel: Cooling sensation when applied; massaging into the scalp provides a long-lasting refreshing feeling - Application: The liquid consistency allows for easy distribution across the scalp - Packaging: The long, narrow nozzle is perfect for applying between hair strands. The bottle has rounded edges for safe use on babies - User Feedback: 30s Male with seborrheic scalp: While unable to fully verify effectiveness due to recent improvement, noticed reduced dead skin cells. Redness still present, but massaging seems to have a soothing effect. 30s Female with oily scalp: Massage provides a cooling, mind-clearing, and relaxing effect. However, it makes hair too greasy for daily use. 6-year-old with normal scalp: Applied for hydration, child found it a bit cold. - Overall: This product would have been ideal when my child was younger and had scalp issues. Easy to apply with gentle ingredients, suitable for sensitive scalps.
ConsThis product is specifically designed for newborns, making it challenging for others to use. Once applied, it's impossible to go out as it leaves hair greasy for all three testers. It requires washing hair again after application, which isn't practical. While perfect for newborns who don't go out often, it's not really recommendable for adults, unlike some other newborn products.
TipDue to the greasy effect, it can't be used during active hours. For optimal results, apply after washing hair in the evening, allow it to absorb overnight, and rinse in the morning. This method ensures you benefit from its moisturizing properties without the inconvenience of greasy hair during the day.

To be honest, I hadn't tried the scalp emulsion before, so I took this opportunity to give it a go! Since my niece can't provide detailed feedback, I, who have seborrheic dermatitis, used it alongside her and am sharing my thoughts. ♡ Texture It has a suitably thin consistency. While applying too much could make it feel heavy, using the right amount allows it to absorb without feeling greasy. As someone who dislikes thick formulas, I appreciated this aspect. However, just to be safe, I plan to use it only in the evenings. ♡ Scent It has a mild medicinal scent. As someone who isn't particularly sensitive to fragrances, I find it acceptable and not unpleasant. ♡ Effectiveness This is the main reason I'm writing this review. I tend to develop scabs on my scalp (due to a habit of scratching when nervous). I applied it primarily to those areas, and the itching noticeably decreased. While the scabs didn't disappear immediately, after about three days of use, the itching reduced significantly. I plan to continue using it for a longer period. That concludes my review!
ConsThe only downside is that, being an emulsion, I'm cautious about using it during the day, worried it might make my hair look greasy or heavy.

But this product, with its nourishing vitamins, seems to have gentle ingredients. After applying, I was pleased that the scalp didn't feel dry. For children with sensitive skin, even small irritants can cause dermatitis and quick reactions, but we didn't experience any of that, which was very satisfying. Packaging: 5/5 stars I particularly liked that the nozzle allows for direct application to the scalp, making it easy to apply thoroughly to every part of the scalp. Texture: 5/5 stars The consistency is just right - not too runny like water, nor too thick. I was worried about it getting into the eyes if it was too liquid, but while it's moisturizing, the texture was perfect for application.
ConsAfter applying it to the scalp multiple times, it can potentially make the hair look a bit greasy. Due to the build-up and dead skin cells, it might appear slightly matted.
TipUsing this emulsion to moisturize the scalp several times before washing seemed to soften the dead skin cells, making them easier to wash away. The scaly patches are gradually improving, and the scalp is becoming more smooth and healthy-looking.

It's like Bepanthen - good to keep one on hand as an emergency solution!
ConsThe downside is that if you fail to control the amount or get too much on your hair, it can make your hair clump together as if it's wet. However, since it's not a cream, it doesn't become sticky and does dry again.
TipApply in small amounts to avoid clumping your hair. It's also great to apply to dry areas like behind the ears and the nape of the neck.

I've always tried to keep it moisturized by applying cream and wiping with a damp cloth, even trying to stop the scratching, but nothing worked. Since discovering this product, it's really calmed down the scalp flaking. Now, the scalp condition has improved significantly. I often scratch my scalp too, so I'm planning to use it myself! The ingredients are not only gentle but also super effective - I highly recommend it!!!
ConsThere weren't any downsides! The only slight inconvenience is that since it's an emulsion for the hair, it might make your hair a bit greasy. Other than that, it's great!

My little one used to scratch their scalp excessively, causing redness and even wounds, but since using this, the frequency of scratching has decreased. Both my husband and I, who tend to have itchy scalps, tried it a few times and found it quite effective.
ConsHowever, it's a bit disappointing that even a small amount can make the hair look greasy. It might be better to apply it in the evening.

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsThis review comes from one of The Hwahae Testers. I'm raising a 20-month-old girl. As the weather's getting cooler, our whole body is becoming dry, so I've been paying extra attention to moisturizing lately. I received the Scalp Emulsion and here's my feedback. I recently noticed that even babies can get blemishes when their oil and moisture balance is off. It happened in the parting area, likely due to frequent sun exposure and dry environment. So I applied this product right away, and her hair became instantly moisturized! Usage: These days, with colds, COVID, and all sorts of viruses potentially coming from daycare, I need to wash her hair daily. Daily shampooing was causing dryness and lots of static electricity. I applied a generous amount 30 minutes before washing to nourish the scalp and prep it. Then after shampooing, I applied a small amount all over. Her scalp looks much more comfortable now! Texture: As the name suggests, it's an emulsion. I wasn't a fan of ampoule types as they tend to drip, but this emulsion form is very easy to apply.
ConsThe fragrance isn't particularly appealing, but it's tolerable for regular use. There's some pilling if used right before going out. That's why I prefer to use it during our nighttime bath routine.

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work well for my children's atopic skin. On the bright side, the size is small, which makes it convenient for traveling. Since my scalp is oily and prone to dead skin cells, and this is meant for newborns, I thought it might be suitable. While it doesn't necessarily make the flaking worse, it doesn't improve the situation either.
ConsAfter applying, it makes the hair feel quite greasy. It's so slippery that I had to double-check if it needed to be washed off. I'll have to use it only when not going out as it makes my hair look sticky. Also, when I stood it upright and opened the cap, the product immediately gushed out. Given the small amount, it's a shame for those who find it effective.
TipIt might be best to use this before bed or follow up with a shampoo after use.

It doesn't run too much, making it great for applying to the scalp. Before using it on my child, I tested it on myself first. I have a dry, sensitive, and itchy scalp. After applying it to freshly shampooed hair, I felt the itchiness subside and my scalp felt hydrated and nourished. I usually use a tonic daily, which feels light and cool, but this product provides more moisture and nourishment. I'm very satisfied!
ConsAt first, I didn't know how to use the product properly and accidentally applied too much. It made my hair feel heavy and greasy. It seems you need to be careful with the amount you use.
TipInitially, I wasn't sure how to use the product correctly and accidentally applied too much. This caused my hair to become heavy and greasy. It's important to be mindful of the amount you use.
