I was worried it might feel sticky, but when I applied it to my scalp and gently patted it in like an emulsion, it absorbed beautifully, leaving my scalp feeling hydrated. I used it together with my son, and we're both satisfied because it's not irritating at all.
ConsOne slight drawback was that when applied to the scalp, perhaps due to its emulsion-like texture, it initially looked a bit greasy.
TipThat's why I highly recommend using it in the evening right after showering, once you've dried your scalp!

My child had severe seborrheic dermatitis on the scalp. At that time, the hospital advised not to forcibly remove it, but to keep it moist with water. This product moisturizes while reducing scalp dead skin cells and alleviating itchiness, so there's no need to soak with water - just apply it directly. When I actually tried it, it's incredibly hydrating and absorbs instantly! Although it's for newborns, when I tested it, I applied it to my scalp first like a mask to soothe the scalp and soften dead skin cells before shampooing. My scalp felt wonderfully refreshed!
ConsThere's nothing to be disappointed about. I think it would be great with consistent use!
TipAdults can try using it as a scalp pack!

It not only protects the scalp's barrier but also soothes sensitive scalps without irritation. The protruding nozzle design ensures hygienic application. Its light texture absorbs quickly without stickiness, making it ideal for scalp use. Containing rooibos extract, excellent for soothing blemishes, and vitamin B complex for enhanced scalp hydration, it effectively calms dead skin cells. This emulsion is perfect not only for newborns but also for children who frequently scratch their scalps or experience dryness and itching.
ConsThere's nothing particularly special about it, though Atopalm products generally have good ingredients. The price can be a bit steep.
TipFor the best experience, apply to a completely dry scalp to ensure optimal absorption.

I was worried since my scalp is quite sensitive, but it applied gently without irritation, making it great for sensitive scalps. When applied before bed, it seemed to keep my scalp moisturized and hydrated. It absorbed quickly without any stickiness, so my child didn't keep touching it.
ConsI cautiously think that the product's scent might be a bit polarizing for some people.
TipApplying the emulsion to the scalp before bed seems to allow for better absorption overnight, maintaining the hydration effect until morning. It might provide faster soothing relief when used on an itchy or irritated scalp.

Its excellent moisturizing effect left my baby's dry scalp hydrated and reduced itching, which was very satisfying. The product absorbs quickly without any sticky feeling, making it comfortable to use.
ConsThe effects of the product weren't immediately noticeable, requiring consistent use to see improvements.
TipIt's best to apply the emulsion when the scalp is slightly damp after bathing. This maximizes the moisturizing effect and helps the emulsion absorb better. Also, gently massaging it into the scalp can improve blood circulation, promoting overall scalp health. Consistency is key, so I recommend using it regularly 1-2 times a day.

I've been using the Atopalm Newborn Scalp Emulsion for about 10 days, and I'd like to share my experience. Positive points (from an adult's perspective): 1. Effective when used after shampooing The product absorbs better on a damp scalp, making it more effective. 2. Long nozzle design Easy to apply directly to the scalp, making it convenient to use. 3. Fragrance-free and gentle Adults with sensitive scalps can use it with peace of mind. 4. Versatile use Can be used not only on the scalp but also on dry skin areas, increasing its utility. 5. Suitable for adults despite being designed for newborns It seems to help somewhat with scalp issues caused by gray hair or hair dye. This product seems particularly suitable for those with sensitive scalps or those seeking natural scalp care. While it can help alleviate mild scalp issues from graying or coloring, for serious scalp problems, it's best to use it in conjunction with specialized products.
Cons1. Delayed absorption when used on dry hair When applied to a dry scalp, absorption is slower and clumping may occur. 2. Slightly insufficient for adult use Being designed for newborns, its effectiveness may be limited for serious adult scalp issues.
TipPro tips: 1. Use on damp hair after shampooing for better absorption. 2. Combine with scalp massage to help improve blood circulation. 3. Try it on dry areas like elbows or knees - it's great for multi-purpose use. 4. Apply before bed for a more hydrated scalp in the morning. 5. Use the night before coloring your hair to help protect your scalp.

I used it before and after bathing, and interestingly, when applied before bathing, it felt like it helped wash away dead skin cells more effectively. After bathing, my scalp felt even more refreshed and the scent was lovely. It's fascinating how even when applied post-bath, while initially noticeable on the scalp, it absorbs completely within 20 minutes, leaving no sticky residue. I'd recommend applying it before bathing for the best results.
ConsThere wasn't really anything I disliked about it. My baby tends to cry loudly, which often makes their scalp turn red, but applying this Newborn Scalp Emulsion had a soothing effect, which was great.
TipTry applying it to the scalp before bathing. You'll notice how much cleaner and refreshed it feels afterwards.

It absorbs quickly like when adults apply toner, without feeling slippery or greasy, which is fantastic. 1. It's perfect for smoothly applying to babies - it doesn't run but isn't too matte either. 2. The case is soft, so I feel at ease keeping it near the baby. 3. Sometimes baby's scalp can get red or develop white patches. Before, all I could do was apply regular baby emulsion, so I'm relieved to have found an emulsion that's just right for this. 4. The opening is elongated (like an eye cream?), making it convenient to apply directly to specific areas.
ConsThere's a very brief sunscreen-like scent for about a second(?), which I think might be due to some good ingredients.
TipAs a mom, when I'm stressed, my scalp sometimes gets red and irritated. Applying this gives me a soothing sensation.

I discovered it when I noticed my child's skin was particularly sensitive and their scalp looked dry. It soaks in like water without leaving any residue, which is great. However, it's not overly rich, so you won't feel an intense burst of hydration immediately after application. I'm satisfied that it's non-irritating and plan to use it consistently.
ConsAtopam is a brand I trust and use with confidence. Since it's for babies, the potential for blemishes is a key concern, but I'm pleased that there haven't been any skin issues so far.

I didn't realize at first, but due to cradle cap and dry weather, it started to smell and develop flakes that looked like dandruff. Sometimes crusty patches would form too. No matter how much I washed the baby's hair, it stayed the same, and the little one kept scratching their head a lot. I thought the dead skin cells would go away with thorough washing, but it only got worse. However, when I applied this product before and after washing the hair, my child seemed much more comfortable. It was reassuring. The flakes also seemed to fall off faster. It's amazing that products like this are now available for babies... Atopalm is truly impressive. Many people complain about the scent, but I found it fine. I'm currently pregnant and have a sensitive nose - I usually get nauseous with products containing harmful ingredients, but this one was okay. Those who have used medicated shampoos for seborrheic dermatitis will understand... the smell is often quite strong and irritating. I think this product strikes a good balance between being gentle and maintaining its effectiveness. The only downside is that it can get a bit greasy if you apply too much, but for an emulsion applied to the hair, it's relatively clean. I highly recommend this to new mothers too! Using this before shampooing makes your hair feel so much fresher. I'm really enjoying using this product!
ConsIt would be better if it came in a mesh-like container for easier application, similar to a roll-on pain relief gel. You already know about the size, right? We'd love a larger size that's big enough to share with dad who has seborrheic dermatitis too!
TipIt's best to apply a generous amount before bathing to soften the dead skin cells. Then when you shampoo, it feels more refreshing and cleaner. It pairs perfectly with Atopalm Scalp Shampoo. Be careful as the product can squirt out suddenly if you hold the bottle downwards or press it too hard. It's best to squeeze a small amount onto your fingertips and gently massage it in.
