My dry scalp was causing flaking along the part line and felt tight after shampooing. Applying this along the part line really helped moisturize without making my hair greasy or causing any blemishes. As it's a baby product, Atopalm is gentle and trustworthy. I often forget to use it and don't reach for it regularly, but I apply it occasionally when I remember for maintenance. For targeted application on problem areas, section your hair. Using a large cotton swab allows for even more precise application. - 86****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 28, 2025
As someone with chronic seborrheic dermatitis, I gave this a try and I'm impressed! The size is just right for easy application. It's a bit sticky and on the pricey side, but otherwise it's not bad. It's easy to apply to the scalp and feels lightweight. - ms*****Dry SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedDec 12, 2024
After using this product along with a new humidifier for about two weeks, I've noticed some improvement in my itchy scalp and the redness on my forehead. That's why I took advantage of the current sale to buy two more. I'm planning to continue using it to see even better results. I must admit, when it's not on sale, the price is a bit steep, which makes me hesitate to purchase it. - 4c*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedNov 9, 2024
Easy to apply and great for relieving that immediate scalp tightness you feel right after drying your hair, especially if you have extremely dry skin like me. Considering how quickly it gets used up, the price is quite steep. I'd love to buy in bulk if there were any special promotions. - na*****Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedOct 28, 2024Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I had the opportunity to try this product through The Hwahae Testers. I was surprised to learn that Atopalm released such a product when I applied for the testing. Thank you for giving me the chance to use it. I wish this had been available when my child was younger! This product is designed for sensitive scalp care, specifically for newborns. However, I decided to try it on my husband, who has seborrheic dermatitis. During this seasonal change, his scalp tends to develop more dead skin cells and becomes redder. Even after shampooing, dead skin cells remain, and in the evening or after drinking even a little alcohol, his condition worsens, causing redness not only on his scalp but also around his forehead. When I first shook and squeezed out the product, I noticed its texture isn't watery, but rather a thin, slightly weighty white liquid. It feels like a runny condensed milk. As expected from a brand suitable for children, it's fragrance-free. This makes it perfect for both children and adults who are sensitive to scents. Review: After shampooing or when dead skin cells appear, applying this thin emulsion-type product provides a moisturizing effect. It hydrates the scalp and helps to smooth down the dead skin cells. My husband appreciated that it's fragrance-free and doesn't have the cooling effect that some scalp products have, making it less irritating. It's a gentle product that even adults can use! I couldn't help but think how beneficial this would have been during our child's newborn days when we struggled with scalp flaking. I highly recommend this product for babies dealing with scalp dead skin cells. The only downside is that while it's gentle enough for babies to use, it might require consistent use to see the best results. - fa**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedOct 25, 2024Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

My firstborn's scalp was covered in cradle cap, looking like a turtle shell as shown in the photo. The pediatrician warned it could develop into seborrheic dermatitis if left untreated, so we went for treatment for about a year, which helped. I wish I had known about this product then; it would have been perfect to test. Unfortunately, my second child has a clean scalp and hair, so I can't provide a before-and-after comparison. - jo********Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 25, 2024Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

There's a slight cooling effect that makes the scalp feel refreshed and invigorated. The scent has hints of eucalyptus, giving a cool and crisp feeling. The emulsion leaves hands with just the right amount of richness - no need to wash it off immediately. However, when applied to the hair, you'll need to rinse it out. The moisture retention is excellent, leaving your hair feeling hydrated. I felt a slight tingling sensation, possibly due to having both dead skin cells and small scratches on my scalp. However, this sensation quickly subsided. I'll make sure to use it on my child only when there are no open wounds. The container opening could be improved - if it were a bit more pointed or had a smaller hole, it would be easier to control the amount dispensed. It was a bit inconvenient when too much product came out onto the scalp at once. For adults, it might be good to use with large cotton swabs designed for scalp care. For babies, I think it would be great to apply it gently with a gauze cloth, then cover the scalp with the cloth and rinse it off at the end of bath time. - rn********Normal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 25, 2024Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

The gentle ingredients are also a big plus! My eldest is going through puberty and has been experiencing an itchy scalp. After using it for over a week, I was disappointed that we didn't notice much improvement in the itchiness. Based on our experience, it might not be very effective for older teens or adults, but I think it could work well for younger children. - hu********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 25, 2024Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I'm a working mom raising two daughters! I was lucky enough to win the Newborn Scalp Emulsion! Since we don't have a newborn at home, I was a bit stumped on how to write a review. After some thought, I decided to try it on my husband, who always struggles with dead skin cells and dandruff on his scalp. At first, he was reluctant, but after some persuasion, he agreed to give it a go. We were a bit hesitant using a baby product on an adult, but we went for it! First off, it's fragrance-free and the ingredients are so gentle, which made us feel more at ease using it. Even for adults, using the wrong product can worsen skin blemishes, so this was reassuring. The white color and lack of scent made it very approachable. After using it for just over two weeks, we noticed some improvement in scalp itchiness! (Sorry for the delayed review - we extended the trial period a bit!) My husband didn't complain about any itching or discomfort after applying the emulsion. One small drawback is that the opening where the liquid comes out is a bit too large, sometimes causing too much product to dispense at once, which is a shame. We used the product after washing hair, then rinsed it off afterward.
