When applied, it has a slightly sticky feel, but when patted and absorbed, it leaves a shiny, extremely moisturized finish on the skin. There is a slight stickiness when touched, but the moisturizing effect is quite evident. The fragrance is almost non-existent, with a very faint scent reminiscent of cosmetic ingredients, but it is barely noticeable unless you intentionally smell it. This cream is recommended for dry and dehydrated skin types. It effectively replenishes the skin's moisture balance and strengthens the skin barrier. Even for my sensitive skin, it did not cause any irritation or discomfort, leaving my skin feeling comfortable and hydrated.
ConsThere were no disappointments other than the small size.

I have been using the Zero-id Soothing Cream and Rich Cream for years and trusted them, so I used them. My skin is extremely sensitive, thin, and has redness, so it's hard to find a suitable cream, but it worked well without any major issues even for my sensitive skin. The slightly thick texture and fragrance-free formula were even better for me. Due to the cold weather, my cheeks would get red, and applying the existing cream I normally use on top of it helped it calm down quickly.
ConsUsing it alone feels like the moisturizing is insufficient, so it would be better to apply the essence cream that I used to use firmly and layer it on top.
TipIt would be better if you could apply a thicker layer on the parts that are concerning.

I had a prejudice that night-type creams tend to be greasy, don't absorb well, and have too much oil. So even in the winter when my skin gets dry, I just apply a cream in two layers and that's it. But this time, I had the chance to try the Zeroid Intensive Cream, and I'm really impressed! I sometimes go to bed without removing my makeup, maybe once a week or up to 3 times a week, because I'm just too lazy. Last Saturday, I went 48 hours without removing my makeup, and I ended up with 5 pimples that I had to quickly pop. I sent an SOS request. As soon as I applied the Zeroid cream, I was like "Whoa!" It's really a night cream, but when I just spread it on a couple of times, it absorbed right away. Yet, it still locked in the moisture and had the perfect amount of oil, with no greasiness or stickiness at all. I don't know how it manages to absorb so quickly when it's not even a thin consistency. The angry red pimples turned yellow and healed the very next day, calming down quickly without getting worse. Phew, I'm so relieved! I've heard the Zeroid cream is famous for being sold at dermatology clinics, so I've always wanted to try it. And it really lives up to the hype. It's so comfortable and calming. It's become my go-to SOS product. Lately, I've been trusting this cream so much that I've been skipping makeup removal more often. But of course, it's still best to thoroughly remove makeup every day for optimal skin health.
ConsThe only regret is wondering why I met this only now, as it's so good!๐ซขโค๏ธ It's great for use in late winter to early spring, the transitional period, and autumn. It seems like it would be good for those with dry skin in the summer! For other skin types, lightly applying and gently covering it also seems fine.ฬโฝโฅ โพ ฬแตแตแต It's not irritating and is very gentle.๐ค๐๐
TipSoothing cream or a light cream, or the cream you normally use, and then apply the Zeroid Intensive - it will be even better! ๐

Formulation As expected from the product name, which indicates a '[balm]' type, the texture is somewhat thick and creamy. I was worried it might be too heavy and not spread well, but!! Upon using it, the texture is between a thick balm and a runny cream, so the application is better than expected. 2. Ingredients The Zero-id brand is well-known as a dermatological brand. I also anticipated the ingredients would be good and non-irritating, and in fact, I did not experience any breakouts or hives when using the product. Reliable ingredients! 3. Packaging Many balm-type products come in glass jars that require a spatula for application, but this product is in a tube, which makes it convenient and lightweight to use!
ConsThe product volume seems to be on the smaller side, so I'm not sure if I'll repurchase it. The cream type is thinner than expected, so I end up using more than with a typical night cream. For my extremely dry skin in the winter, the moisturizing power feels a bit weak.
Tipin the morning, it is not suitable to apply, i recommend applying it in the evening.

However, the moment I touched it, it wasn't sticky at all and spread very smoothly while absorbing well, which I found quite satisfactory! I didn't really notice any particular scent while using this product, so I don't think there would be strong likes or dislikes in this regard. I'm personally glad I didn't detect any strange odors. The product itself wasn't overly oily or drying. Also, since it has gentle ingredients, when I had 2-3 small pimples on my chin and applied it before bed, one of them had gone down by the next day, so I was fairly satisfied with that. And after using it for a week, I didn't get any additional breakouts, but I'm not sure if that's thanks to the effects of this product or the one I was using before - I'm not certain about that.
ConsIt seems that many others have also mentioned this, but since it's only 40ml, the amount feels a bit small. Even when applying a small amount to a small area of the skin, it feels like it will be used up quickly, which is a bit disappointing. ๐ข Additionally, as I mentioned earlier, after using it for about a week, I'm not sure if my skin barrier has really become that much stronger. I'm not sure how to describe it, but it feels a bit ambiguous... For example, my sister has rosacea, so she used the product with me, but even as I write this review, her rosacea is still the same as before use. It's possible that the usage period is still too short, so we may need to use it for a bit longer.
TipOverall skin barrier strengthening is needed, so it seems like you could apply it all over the face. However, I personally find it better to first apply the ampoule and cream, and then use this product only on the areas that need barrier reinforcement..!

It was a brand I had never used before, and this was my chance to discover it. My skin is dry, and in the winter, it becomes even more dehydrated due to the heater. This product helps soothe my irritated skin. The texture is thick and dense, like an ointment, rather than a regular cream. When applied, it feels like it densely fills in the skin. I prefer to use up cosmetics quickly after opening them, so I was glad the amount was not too large.
ConsI am not a big fan of artificial fragrances, so it was fine with me, but if you enjoy fragrant scents, it may be a matter of personal preference.

When winter comes, my arms and legs become extremely dry and itchy in spots. I applied this primarily to those areas, and it definitely felt gentle yet protective for my irritated skin. I used it at night before bed, and in the morning, my skin felt soft and supple, with less flaking. On days when my face felt really tight, I squeezed out just a tiny dot and spread it thinly - even that small amount provided sufficient moisture, thanks to the rich formula. While I can't use it daily due to its thick, rich texture, it's great to use occasionally when my skin needs a break. I'll just apply the Hwahae after my toner and use it like a sleeping pack. I mainly used it on my knees and arms, and it really helped with the bumpy, sensitive skin. After using it overnight, the itchiness went away and my skin felt smoother. This would be great for those with sensitive skin, eczema, as well as for babies and pregnant women.
ConsWell, I suppose the quantity being a bit low is a bit of a shame haha. To be honest, I don't think I've felt any major disappointment so far. If I had to pick something, it would probably be the quantity and the price?? It's not outrageously expensive, but there's still a bit of a lingering sense of something being a bit off about the price range, you know? haha
TipHwahae, for normal to dry skin (face), we recommend just using a toner and lotion or a toner and essence ampoule, and then applying a tiny amount, dotting it on your face like stars, in the evening. For those with sensitive body skin, we also recommend applying it to your body.

For the oily type, a cream-like formula would be better for indoor activities or before bedtime. The fragrance is very mild and doesn't cause headaches. The texture is similar to an ointment mixed with a moisturizing cream. It's comparable to the Atobarrier cream from Etude House in terms of texture. I didn't feel any intense cooling or moisturizing effects, but my skin did feel softer when touched. The application is a bit sticky and ointment-like, so it feels a bit thick. I used it on my very dry and irritated neck area, and after applying it consistently for about a week, the itchiness went away and my skin improved significantly.
ConsThe texture is a bit thick, so the feel when applying it by hand is not great... The price seems a bit high considering the small volume. It doesn't seem to deliver dramatic effects immediately. Consistent use is required!
TipApplying it frequently to areas that are scratched or extremely dry, and applying it one more time before bed, should be effective!

It has better moisturizing properties compared to the previously used Zeroid Soothing Cream. It has a high oil content, so it's better to use it as a follow-up moisturizer after applying the recommended moisturizer, rather than as a standalone product. It's a night-type product, but the application seems to be quite good.
ConsThose products similar to La Roche-Posay B5 actually caused a burning sensation and felt stuffy when applied, so it was difficult to use them all over. That's why I've been applying them as spot treatments on my blemish marks. Personally, I'm not sure about the soothing effects. If you're someone who uses ointment formulas like Bepanten or B5, those might work well for you.

I was told to apply a moisturizing barrier cream, so I looked around and here is the review after using the Zeroids Plus Balm Hwahae Trial Reviewers for about 10 days! The texture: I thought the balm-type texture would be quite thick, but it was more of a creamy texture, so the application was quite good. Absorption: I was worried that the moisturizing balm would not absorb well since I usually use a moisturizing cream, but it was fine! The finish was not sticky, so I think it's okay to use a small amount in the morning in the winter dry skin. I applied a thin layer of toner > moisturizer > a small amount of Zeroids balm, and let it absorb a bit, then did my makeup, and I didn't feel like it was heavy at all. Moisturizing power: The moisturizing power was the biggest expectation I had for the Zeroids balm! Since my skin is dry, I always use a moisturizing cream as a base, and when I applied a thin layer of the Zeroids balm on top, it felt like an additional thin protective layer that locked in the moisture. It seems to be a good final step in the skincare routine during the winter.
ConsIt's unfortunate that the cost-effectiveness is lacking. The capacity is small relative to the price....
TipWe recommend fully hydrating your skin with toners, serums, and moisturizers, then applying this product thinly as a finishing touch!
