Pros
The formula is dense and unscented, suited for nighttime use. When winter comes, my arms and legs become extremely dry and itchy in spots. I applied this primarily to those areas, and it definitely felt gentle yet protective for my irritated skin. I used it at night before bed, and in the morning, my skin felt soft and supple, with less flaking. On days when my face felt really tight, I squeezed out just a tiny dot and spread it thinly - even that small amount provided sufficient moisture, thanks to the rich formula. While I can't use it daily due to its thick, rich texture, it's great to use occasionally when my skin needs a break. I'll just apply the Hwahae after my toner and use it like a sleeping pack. I mainly used it on my knees and arms, and it really helped with the bumpy, sensitive skin. After using it overnight, the itchiness went away and my skin felt smoother. Pros
I have a troublesome skin that quickly develops pimples when I can't sleep or feel stressed! It's good to use in the dry winter as it's a night type, and it seems to work well in spring and fall when applied thinly. It might be difficult to use in the summer as it's a night cream. Moisturization: I used a light moisturizing cream when applying makeup, and only applied it at night, and it remained moisturized until the next day, so my makeup went on well. Spreadability and absorption: Compared to La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5, Zeroid had better spreadability. It felt richer than the Baume, and I could apply it thinly without any white cast. It absorbed quickly, so it was easy to layer. Soothing: I originally had some redness, but the redness significantly improved after using the Zeroid SOS Baume. Pros
Zeroide had sent me samples of soothing lotion and intensive lotion a few years ago, so I was already familiar with the brand. This time, I was selected as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer, so I got to try the SOS Balm as well. The texture is thick and ointment-like, with an oily feel, so it's best to apply a thin layer on the needed areas for someone with oily skin like me. While using the product, I noticed two effects: 1. Acne soothing - I sometimes get pimples, and when I applied the product on a pimple on my chin that was red and swollen, even without touching it, it started subsiding the next day. The mark remained, but it improved in two days. I should have taken before and after photos, but unfortunately I didn't. 2. Redness improvement - Recently, my cheeks have been getting red due to the dry indoor environment and heating. I applied a thin layer in the evening, and the next day, the redness was significantly less, and I didn't feel as much heat.

A few years ago, when my child's skin was dry and bumpy like millet, a product given to me by an acquaintance was the Hwahae product. Pros
The product applied thinly and felt good, and it was oily so it didn't fly off easily. Personally, the MD rich cream felt a bit thick, but after applying it, it felt dry and tight. This one, on the other hand, is oily and has more conditioning agents and surfactants than other products, so my skin feels more comfortable. Unless it contains bad ingredients or ingredients that can seriously harm the skin, I would use this over other zero-oid products, as my skin feels more comfortable with it. By the way, I'm not a big fan of Estara and Byeokcheon. They really didn't work for me. If you're someone who doesn't get along with Estara, you might like this product. The texture is just like a thinner version of Biafine. It has a similar feel to Esoro ointment... I'm not usually someone who finds zero-oid products very appealing, but I bought different types to see if I could find one I like. The Pimprove pH4, Soothing, Rich MD, Intensive Ointment, and Intensive. But the SOS balm is the best - it's a great product to fill in the gaps. Oh, and apparently we shouldn't use that cyclohexane stuff, so I'm looking for an alternative for that.
