In winter, my arms and legs get extremely dry and itchy in patches, so I applied it mainly to these areas. I could definitely feel it soothing and protecting my irritated skin while being gentle. Rather than during the day, I applied it before bed, and when I woke up in the morning, my skin felt soft and had less dead skin cells! On days when my face felt extremely tight, I squeezed out a tiny amount, about the size of a dot, and applied it thinly. Even with this small amount, the rich texture provided sufficient hydration. It's truly a thick, rich balm, so I couldn't use it daily, but it's great to apply like a sleeping cream over just toner when your skin needs a break! I mainly applied it to my knees and arms, and it was great for calming sensitive, chicken skin-like bumps. After sleeping with this on, my skin definitely became softer and the itching disappeared! This would be perfect for those with super sensitive skin who can't use just anything, people with atopic dermatitis, and even babies or pregnant women.
ConsIf I had to nitpick, maybe the small quantity could be seen as a downside. To be honest, I haven't really found anything significantly disappointing about it yet. If I had to mention something, perhaps the quantity and price?? It's not extremely expensive, but somehow... there's just a slight feeling of... something lacking in terms of the price point.
TipFor combination dehydrated or oily skin (face), I recommend using just toner and emulsion, or toner, essence, and ampoule, then applying a tiny dot of the balm spread thinly! For those with sensitive body skin, I also recommend using it on your body!

This balm-type product is perfect for winter when skin easily dries out, and if applied thinly, it could work well in spring and fall too. Being a balm, it might be a bit heavy for summer use. Hydration: I used a light moisturizer for daytime makeup, but applied this only at night. My skin stayed hydrated until the next day, which helped my makeup go on smoothly. Application and absorption: Compared to La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Balm, Zeroid has better spreadability. It feels more like a rich cream than a balm, and I love that it applies thinly without leaving a white cast. It absorbs quickly, making it easy to layer if needed. Soothing: I usually have some redness, but the Zeroid SOS Balm significantly calmed it down. I did get a couple of tiny bumps on my forehead, but the improvement in redness was so noticeable that I'm willing to overlook that.
ConsPrice: As it's a soothing balm, I applied it thickly on areas needing calming and slept with it on. Using it this way, I went through the product quite quickly. The amount you get for the price is a bit disappointing. If you're concerned about small bumps, that could be a downside. It seems the main effects are soothing redness and strengthening the skin barrier, but it doesn't seem to do much for tiny bumps.
TipReapplying to areas that need soothing provides quick relief.

I also use Zeroid cream, and this feels like it creates a protective layer on top.
ConsI was a bit disappointed by the small amount. I ended up mixing it with my regular cream to make it last longer.
TipWhen I mix it with my cream or emulsion, it seems to create a protective barrier, which I really like.

I've been using it for so long, and many people around me use it too, so I feel comfortable trying any new line they release. The texture is on the thinner side, but it has a bouncy feel that locks in moisture, making both the application and hydration excellent. This would be perfect to pack for trips, and I think it would also work well as a thin layer before makeup.
ConsThere's nothing I dislike about it. Even though I have super sensitive skin, Zeroid once again proves to be free from any blemishes or irritation.

Now, thanks to being selected for The Hwahae Testers, I got to try their SOS Balm too. The texture is like a thick ointment with a rich feel, so for combination dehydrated skin like mine, it's best to apply a thin layer only where needed. I noticed two main benefits while using this product: 1. Blemish soothing - I occasionally get blemishes, so I applied it to one on my chin. It was red, swollen, and painful even without touching. Surprisingly, after applying it before bed, it started to subside the next day. Within two days, it was much better, though a mark remained. I wish I had taken before and after photos! 2. Redness improvement - Recently, my cheeks have been getting red due to dry indoor air and heating. I was skeptical, but after applying a thin layer in the evening, I noticed significantly less redness and heat the next day.
ConsOne downside is that while the blemish subsided, the scar remained. It seems I'll need a separate scar-removing ointment for that. Also, when I applied a thin layer on my cheeks in the evening for redness, I noticed my cheeks looked even more flushed before bed. I was worried it might be a side effect, but it was fine the next day. I'm not sure if I should continue applying it this way.
TipOne tip from the usage instructions that seems helpful is to apply this after your moisturizer. Also, I found that applying a thin layer works best. While it's pricey for the amount you get, I think it'll last a long time.

At that time, I used their cream, and it was quite effective for my child's skin. So, I had high hopes when trying this Intensive SOS Plus Balm. I expected the balm to be extremely thick, but it was surprisingly manageable. Compared to the Aven* ointment-like cream I've been using, this one had a much better absorption. It spreads smoothly and gets absorbed quickly, leaving the skin feeling hydrated. My skin is super sensitive and lately, it's been drying out no matter what I apply. But with this, it feels like there's a protective moisture barrier? The subtle glow it gives makes my skin look healthier and more beautiful.
ConsThe quantity is a bit disappointing. It runs out quickly when I use it not just on my face, but also on my elbows and knees.
TipIt works well when applied in small amounts not only on the face but also on dry areas like elbows and knees.

Personally, I found the MD Rich Cream to be thick and left my skin feeling dry after application. This one, however, feels more comfortable on the skin, perhaps due to its oily nature and higher content of surfactants and conditioning agents compared to other products. As long as it doesn't contain harmful ingredients that could damage my skin, I'd choose this over other Zeroid products, even if the ingredient list isn't as impressive. The comfort it provides to my skin is the priority. For reference, I'm someone who doesn't get along with Aestura products at all. If Aestura doesn't work for you, this might be a good match. The texture is like a thinner version of Bepanthen, also reminiscent of Elocon ointment. While I'm not usually impressed by Zeroid, I bought various types to give them a chance. I tried the Pimprove pH4, Soothing, Rich MD, Intensive Ointment, and Intensive. Surprisingly, the SOS Balm turned out to be my favorite. It's great for filling in what other products lack, so a combination of a lighter product and the SOS Balm could work well.
ConsThe only downside, if I had to mention one, would be that it's not the most budget-friendly option.
TipHowever, I've heard that the cyclohexasiloxane ingredient shouldn't be used. So, I'm currently looking for alternative products.
