Less oily, it applies evenly all over the face without pilling. Absorption: Being a balm, it doesn't absorb as quickly as a water-based moisturizer. However, it sinks in within a minute, so it doesn't feel heavy on the skin. Hydration: As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I found it provided just the right amount of moisture. However, I did experience some blemishes on my forehead where I have more active oil glands. It's important to adjust the amount based on your skin's needs. Scent: It's fragrance-free. You can only detect the natural scent of the ingredients, which makes me feel like they've truly focused on skincare effectiveness. While it's a well-known product, the price-to-quantity ratio is quite disappointing. In winter evenings, I usually layer an emulsion and barrier cream with an intensive cream, but this product was really satisfying as it provided great hydration and soothing effects with just a small amount. Being an intensive balm, it's a bit rich, but not to the point of being greasy - it's perfect for winter night care! As the weather is starting to warm up, I wish I had used it earlier to enjoy its benefits throughout the winter. I've tried La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Balm, Bioderma PP Balm, and Bioderma Cicabio Pommade Cream, but personally, I like the Bioderma PP Balm and Zeroid Intensive Balm the best! The texture is just right, and it spreads easily, making it a joy to apply. Since it's a moisturizing product, I don't think I'll be able to use it when it gets warmer. It's great for layering over an emulsion or moisturizer in winter. First off, I have sensitive, oily skin. I usually alternate between gentle products and those that focus on barrier care. I was grateful for the opportunity to try Zeroid, a brand famous for barrier care and often prescribed by dermatologists, thanks to being selected as a Hwahae Tester. Pros: • It's gentle - As someone with super sensitive skin, I could use it comfortably without any adjustment period. • Light texture despite high hydration - I tried it during the transitional season between winter and spring, and the hydration was undeniably good. Plus, it absorbs well, making it really convenient to use. • Improves skin barrier - I've tried other creams known for barrier improvement, and both worked well for me. This one seems particularly suitable for winter and seasonal changes. For oily skin like mine, it caused some minor blemishes. A tip would be to apply a smaller amount.

I've experienced perioral dermatitis before, and currently I occasionally get contact dermatitis around my nasolabial folds. I've tried Zeroid's Soothing, MD, and Intensive lines. With my combination dehydrated skin, I'm using the Soothing line during summer! For those with super sensitive skin, I suggest products with basic ingredients that help skin recovery rather than highly functional ones. While individual experiences may vary, among various derma and regenerating creams, Zeroid was the one that helped prevent my skin from worsening without side effects! I was worried it might be too rich, but it provides just the right amount of hydration. I think anyone except those with extremely oily skin can use it by adjusting the amount. It absorbs well, so I had no issues using it before makeup too! When applied, you can feel a bit of richness, but as you pat it in, it seems to coat the skin, creating a glow and leaving it incredibly hydrated. After absorption, there's a slight stickiness when touched, which seems to indicate its strong moisturizing effect. Scent: It's nearly fragrance-free. There's a very faint scent that seems to come from the cosmetic ingredients rather than added perfume. Unless you put it right up to your nose, you'll hardly notice any scent at all. Recommended Skin Types: This cream is perfect for combination dehydrated skin and dry skin types. I've been using Zeroid Soothing Cream and Rich Cream for years, so I trusted this product too. My skin is extremely sensitive, thin, and prone to redness, making it difficult to find a suitable cream. However, this one worked well without causing any blemishes on my sensitive skin. I particularly liked its slightly thick texture and unscented formula. Due to the cold weather, my cheeks were getting red, but after applying this cream over my usual one before bed, I felt it calmed my skin quickly. Using it alone might not provide enough hydration, so I think it's better to apply it over your regular essence and cream routine for optimal results. It might be even more effective if you apply a thicker layer on areas of concern.

Skin type: Dry - Absorption: Initially, it applies super smoothly, but as you keep rolling it in, it gradually becomes thicker and feels a bit heavier! I think this might be a bit much for skin types other than dry! - Absorption: The absorption is really good, and it absorbs super quickly! Sometimes I worry if it's absorbing too well into my skin, like 'Is it really getting in there properly?' Recommended skin type is definitely dry! First off, it might be difficult to apply before morning makeup. Most pre-makeup skincare should be lightweight, but this feels quite heavy on initial application, so it could cause your makeup to pill. As for absorption, it does absorb quickly, so it might not be bad for normal to oily skin types. However, this quick absorption might leave dry skin types wondering, 'Is this actually working? I guess it must be?' The fragrance-free formula means it probably won't be a deal-breaker for most people. I had this preconception that balm types would just sit on the skin, not absorb well, and feel too rich. So even in winter, if my skin felt dry, I'd just layer on regular cream twice and call it a day. But this time, I got the chance to try the Zeroid Intensive Cream! I often sleep with my makeup on, once to thrice a week, because I'm lazy... But last Saturday, I hadn't removed my makeup for 48 hours straight, and suddenly got 5 blemishes. I frantically opened this cream and applied it as an SOS treatment. Honestly, as soon as I applied it, I blurted out 'What?' It's truly a balm, but after spreading it two or three times, it absorbed right away! It locks in hydration perfectly, has just the right amount of richness, and doesn't feel greasy or sticky at all. The texture isn't thin, but I'm amazed at how quickly it absorbs. The angry red blemishes had turned yellow by the next day. Thanks to this, they calmed down quickly and didn't get worse. Phew, what a relief! I've always wanted to try Zeroid cream since it's famous for being sold in dermatology clinics. It really lives up to its reputation! It's incredibly comfortable and calms the skin quickly. It's become my go-to SOS product. These days, I'm in trouble because I trust it so much that I'm removing my makeup even less often. Of course, it's better to cleanse your face thoroughly every day before applying! The only downside is that I wish I'd found this sooner, it's so good! It's perfect for use from winter to early spring, during seasonal changes, and in autumn. In summer, it would be great for those with dry skin! For other skin types, applying a thin layer as a protective barrier might work well too. It's not irritating and extremely gentle. Despite its appearance, it applies much more moisturizing than expected. It absorbs well without feeling sticky! The formula seems gentle with no particular scent. The only downside is the small 40ml size. It feels like it'll run out quickly. The review photo shows the difference after just one use, and the results are definitely noticeable! Hope this helps you decide.
