The Detclear Peeling Jelly is a reliable go-to for gentle exfoliation. Its hydrating formula helps prevent the dryness that can sometimes occur after removing dead skin cells. Plus, it's so mild and non-irritating that you can use it without any worries. I'm not entirely sure if it's effectively removing dead skin cells. When I used it on my chin during a breakout, it didn't seem to properly exfoliate the area. It was a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 11, 2023
Among exfoliating gels, this one's the most comfortable and I love that it doesn't have any beads! I really dislike products with plastic-like particles as they make me anxious. It's gentle and provides just the right amount of hydration. I love how it smoothly removes dead skin cells and leaves my skin feeling soft and fresh when I massage it in during my shower. Given that it's an exfoliating gel, those with sensitive skin might want to use it only occasionally. I noticed that using it too frequently can lead to some blemishes. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 21, 2022
It's great at removing dead skin cells without any irritation. I'm really pleased with it! The gel is thinner than I expected, which makes it a bit inconvenient as it tends to drip. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 23, 2022
It's great at removing dead skin cells. You can use it daily, even on damp skin, which is perfect for me since I wash my hair first in the shower. With consistent use, your face really develops a nice glow. If you use it daily, it's less of an issue, but when used occasionally, it can sometimes cling to facial hair and be a bit difficult to rinse off completely. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 18, 2021
This product offers a hydrating self-exfoliation routine perfect for skin prone to makeup flaking. It's conveniently usable even with wet hands. I bought it for my dry skin, and pleasantly, there was no tightness after use. It's a bit disappointing that it's a Japanese product. I'm sure we have equally good or better products in our own country. I'll have to look for those. There's a noticeable difference between using it for regular cleansing and during a bath. When bathing, it seems the pores are more open, allowing for more effective dead skin cell removal. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 11, 2021
As someone with super sensitive skin, I can't use just anything, but this product is so gentle that it's become my go-to for managing dead skin cells. I got a rude awakening when I gently squeezed the bottle and it sprayed so high it hit my eye. Seems like it's a gamble with the packaging for each product. I wish they'd put more effort into designing the nozzle. After cleansing, squeeze out an appropriate amount and gently massage it onto your face in circular motions. Then simply rinse off with running water, and you're done. - Hwahae UserDry SkinFeb 17, 2021
It's so convenient that you can exfoliate even when your skin is damp. You can remove dead skin cells while showering! It's very gentle with minimal irritation. The texture is like a clear jelly! When you rub it, it rolls off in white bits like dead skin. While it definitely works well without irritation, it doesn't feel as satisfyingly effective as products with exfoliating particles. It's great to use whether your skin is wet or dry. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 11, 2020
Our entire family loves this product! We have all skin types - dry, oily, and combination - and we've already gone through two bottles and ordered five more! Even when used on damp skin after showering, it effectively removes dead skin cells, leaving your face feeling squeaky clean and giving you that 'my skin has improved' sensation. The next day, your skin looks better and makeup applies more smoothly! Apart from being a bit pricey for the amount you get, I can't think of any downsides! For best results, use it on slightly damp skin right after showering - it's amazing how well it removes dead skin cells! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 5, 2020
It's a gommage-type exfoliant, you know? The little granules form and gently buff away dead skin cells. After using it, makeup applies so beautifully. You can even use it when your skin is damp, so I apply it right after cleansing. It's on the pricey side. Some people might find the ingredients don't agree with their skin... Make sure to use it on damp skin to minimize irritation. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAug 24, 2020
I really enjoyed how well it exfoliated and removed dead skin cells. It's an incredibly gentle product that I used with great satisfaction. You can apply it to dry skin or damp skin - I preferred using it on damp skin. Since the formula is gel-based, you need to be thorough when rinsing it off. Some residue might remain on your skin if you don't wash carefully.
