The Detclear Peeling Jelly is a reliable go-to for gentle exfoliation. Its hydrating formula helps prevent the dryness that can sometimes occur after removing dead skin cells. Plus, it's so mild and non-irritating that you can use it without any worries. I'm not entirely sure if it's effectively removing dead skin cells. When I used it on my chin during a breakout, it didn't seem to properly exfoliate the area. It was a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinFeb 10, 2021
The product is moisturizing and gently exfoliates when in contact with water, like removing dead skin cells. It's surprisingly gentle and soft, making it comfortable for frequent use without any burden. My skin type is oily with a lot of sebum, but this product effectively controls most visible oil and is great for temporary exfoliation. The generous amount allows for long-term use, and the value for money is surprisingly good, so I'm using it comfortably. As it's good for temporary exfoliation, it's best used before important days rather than as a regular product in your routine. It feels like it only exfoliates surface oil, not reaching deep into the pores, so you might need to use it in combination with other products. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 24, 2020
Initially, I loved how moisturizing it felt after exfoliating. The sensation right after use was quite pleasant. As I continued using it, I became unsure if it was actually effective at removing dead skin cells. I had to apply a generous amount first and then exfoliate, which made me wonder if the product quantity was insufficient. With prolonged use, I'm not certain about its long-term benefits. It's hard to tell if it's truly working for my skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinNov 24, 2019
It feels wonderfully hydrating. Even after exfoliating, my skin doesn't feel particularly dry I'm not sure if it's effectively removing dead skin cells... I bought it because it's popular, but it didn't work well for me - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMar 22, 2019
It's hydrating and gentle... that's about it. It pills up and forms little balls when applied... Am I using it wrong? Not impressed. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 30, 2019
I have extremely dry skin! Unlike typical exfoliating products, I was really impressed by its bouncy, jelly-like texture that feels hydrating. Being able to use it with wet hands, even in the shower, is a huge plus! As you massage it in, soft granules form to remove dead skin cells. With its gentle ingredients and lack of irritation, it seems perfect for those with super sensitive skin. I've been using it every 2-3 days, and aside from slight tightness after cleansing, I haven't experienced any blemishes or irritation. While it's not for daily use, using it 1-2 times a week leaves your face feeling refreshed and lightly exfoliated. After use, my skin feels silky smooth, which is so satisfying! Since it's not an everyday product, it should last quite a while, making the price quite reasonable. Although it's a gentle product without irritation, there's still some unavoidable tightness after use. This might be partly due to my extremely dry skin. The tightness isn't severe, but it's best to apply plenty of hydration afterwards! Because of this, it doesn't seem to completely remove dead skin cells or blackheads. Still, with winter's dry weather, heater air, and fine dust causing flaky skin, it's an attractive option for gentle, light exfoliation without irritation! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJan 23, 2019
As someone with super sensitive skin, I often experience blemishes and discomfort when using products with harsh ingredients. However, this product was a pleasant surprise - it didn't cause any irritation or blemishes on my sensitive skin, which I found really satisfying. Usually after cleansing, my skin quickly loses moisture and becomes dry. But after using the Detclear Bright & Peel Peeling Jelly Unscented, it seems to slow down the drying process. The product feels soft and hydrating, as if it's holding in moisture. I focused on peeling the area from under my eyes to my cheekbones where dead skin cells tend to accumulate, and my skin feels noticeably smoother than before use. The texture is similar to the contents of ice packs that come with fresh or frozen products. Its unique, uncommon consistency might feel unfamiliar to some users. The biggest drawback is that when you apply it to your face for exfoliation, it doesn't adhere well and tends to fall off before you can properly exfoliate. This might lead to using more product than necessary. As you massage it, the dead skin cells come off in little bits like dirt. Be careful not to let these fall on your clothes. I think this product could be used on any area where you're concerned about dead skin cells, not just the face. I tried it on the soles of my feet and found it effectively removed dead skin there too. - Hwahae UserOily SkinJan 23, 2019
It leaves my skin feeling hydrated without any dryness afterwards. I love how my makeup applies even better than usual after using it. Using it too frequently can cause redness and itching, so I'd recommend using it only once every 2-3 days. Make sure your face is completely dry! There shouldn't be any moisture on your skin when applying. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 22, 2019
1. The gentleness is its biggest advantage. Even with my super sensitive skin, it exfoliates without any issues, which is fantastic. 2. There's hardly any severe dryness after exfoliating. Even with a light cleanse post-exfoliation, it leaves my skin feeling much more hydrated compared to other exfoliators I've used. 3. Being a gommage-type exfoliator, it's very low on irritation. With granular exfoliators, I sometimes found once a week too much and had to cut back to once every ten days. But with this product, I can use it twice a week without any problems. 4. It works even with wet hands. On days when I used granular exfoliators, I had to tie my hair back tightly. Now, I can simply exfoliate after washing my hair, with wet hands on my damp face that's been softened with warm water. It's so much more convenient. Due to the nature of gommage products, it's challenging to remove all dead skin cells in one go. However, since it's a gentler method, you'll see much better results if you use it regularly to exfoliate. Use it consistently for best results. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJan 21, 2019
First off, I'm really enjoying this product! I've tried many peeling gels, but what stands out about the Bright & Peel Peeling Jelly is how it removes dead skin cells while leaving my skin incredibly hydrated! I have to give it props for that. Other brands' products can be so rough and even painful, but not this one - it's great! Another plus is that it works even with wet hands, which is super convenient. The only downside is that I wish there was a bit more product for the price. It would be nice if the price was a bit lower so I could use it without worrying about the cost. I make sure to exfoliate my face with a peeling gel at least 4 times a week. Afterwards, my makeup goes on so smoothly - it's fantastic! Daily use would be too harsh for my skin, but this gentle exfoliation every few days keeps my complexion in great shape without any damage.
