I liked that it didn't feel like a fake peeling sensation, but rather a gentler exfoliation that seemed less irritating to the skin Compared to before, it felt like it removed fewer dead skin cells, which was a bit disappointing - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 16, 2024
The Detclear Peeling Jelly is a reliable go-to for gentle exfoliation. Its hydrating formula helps prevent the dryness that can sometimes occur after removing dead skin cells. Plus, it's so mild and non-irritating that you can use it without any worries. I'm not entirely sure if it's effectively removing dead skin cells. When I used it on my chin during a breakout, it didn't seem to properly exfoliate the area. It was a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 11, 2023
Among exfoliating gels, this one's the most comfortable and I love that it doesn't have any beads! I really dislike products with plastic-like particles as they make me anxious. It's gentle and provides just the right amount of hydration. I love how it smoothly removes dead skin cells and leaves my skin feeling soft and fresh when I massage it in during my shower. Given that it's an exfoliating gel, those with sensitive skin might want to use it only occasionally. I noticed that using it too frequently can lead to some blemishes. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 21, 2022
It's great at removing dead skin cells without any irritation. I'm really pleased with it! The gel is thinner than I expected, which makes it a bit inconvenient as it tends to drip. - Hwahae UserDry SkinFeb 23, 2022
It's incredibly gentle on the skin, and you can really feel it sloughing off dead skin cells. After use, your skin has a noticeable glow. The price is a bit high for the amount you get. The biggest drawback is that it tends to clump up with facial hair, forming little balls on your face. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 4, 2021
It seems to be gentle and great for dry skin. My skin feels like it's shedding dead skin cells in a good way. The fact that it's a Japanese product... Apart from that, it seems pretty decent. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 11, 2021
As someone with super sensitive skin, I can't use just anything, but this product is so gentle that it's become my go-to for managing dead skin cells. I got a rude awakening when I gently squeezed the bottle and it sprayed so high it hit my eye. Seems like it's a gamble with the packaging for each product. I wish they'd put more effort into designing the nozzle. After cleansing, squeeze out an appropriate amount and gently massage it onto your face in circular motions. Then simply rinse off with running water, and you're done. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 26, 2021
The gentle formula makes it great for frequent use, and it's convenient that you can apply it even when your hands or face are damp! I love that it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry after use. It's really difficult to remove. I feel like the process of washing it off might actually cause irritation. Also, if it gets in your hair, it's hard to get out. I've been using a cleansing foam after peeling, but I don't think I'll be repurchasing this. - Hwahae UserDry SkinFeb 17, 2021
It's so convenient that you can exfoliate even when your skin is damp. You can remove dead skin cells while showering! It's very gentle with minimal irritation. The texture is like a clear jelly! When you rub it, it rolls off in white bits like dead skin. While it definitely works well without irritation, it doesn't feel as satisfyingly effective as products with exfoliating particles. It's great to use whether your skin is wet or dry. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinJan 21, 2021
The makeup applies smoothly without irritation, and it's gentle on the skin. The pump-type packaging makes it convenient for storage and hygienic use. It tends to be quite drying, so you need to be thorough when cleansing.
