ConsIt felt heavy and oily when applied, and my skin reacted badly. It was extremely uncomfortable. While this product might be great for others, it doesn't seem to suit my skin. Those who find it compatible will likely enjoy using it. Also, the spray isn't smooth - it comes out in clumps, if that makes sense.

As someone with super sensitive skin, it was gentle on my skin! You can find the best deal on Naver Shopping, where you can buy two for just 10,000 won.
ConsThe spray function is terrible. A few hours after applying, I developed red spots. The next day, I got two more folliculitis spots. It doesn't absorb well, leaving a greasy layer on the skin. It's not just moisturizing, but actually oily. It just doesn't work for me.
TipThis might be good for those who respond well to mugwort.

ConsI always have blemishes, so I was praying they wouldn't get worse! Unfortunately, after using this, I noticed more blemishes popping up... It seems this product doesn't agree with my skin. The absorption wasn't great either, leaving an oily residue on my skin's surface. And thanks to its spray bottle-level misting power, my hair always ended up greasy and the clothes around my neck area got wet. What a disappointment!
TipAfter washing my face, I spritzed it on quickly - spritz spritz! Then I had to wipe off the excess oiliness with a cotton pad.

While it didn't seem to suit my skin as I noticed some blemishes appearing, there were some positives during this short period. I really enjoyed the moisturizing effect. Currently, I'm using it on my dry back and body after showering, and it works great! My boyfriend (skin type: dry/large pores/occasional pimples) had a different experience. He found that: The hydration is excellent, preventing any feeling of tightness on his face. Unlike me, it actually helped calm down his blemishes. He's very satisfied and continues to use it regularly.
ConsI started using the Mugwort Essence when my blemishes had just cleared up. Unfortunately, from the second day, I noticed new breakouts appearing. Given how difficult it was to get my skin clear, I decided to stop using it and passed it on to my boyfriend. The downsides I noticed were that it absorbs slowly and feels slightly heavy on the skin.
TipIt might be best to ensure the product is fully absorbed before going to bed.

Personally, I prefer this calm herbal/medicinal scent over headache-inducing florals. • The texture surprised me - I expected a light hydrating mist, but it's heavier than anticipated. It truly deserves the 'essence' in its name, feeling like 2-3 drops of oil warmed between palms and applied to the face. As a regular oil user, I appreciate the unique finish, but those who prefer a fresh feel might not enjoy it. Compared to my usual galactomyces essence, this feels closer to an oil than a film-forming product. Recommended for those who enjoy oil-based mists. • I'll likely repurchase after finishing this bottle. It's surprisingly versatile for combating dryness at work, more so than lighter water-based mists.
Cons• The spray format means an unpleasant taste if it gets on your lips. • On the first day of use, I only added this to my usual skincare routine [Cleanse - 6 sprays of mugwort - bifida essence - moisturizer], but the next day I got two small blemishes. The cause is unclear - it could be overuse, combining two essences, or external factors. However, when I removed the other essence and used just 3 sprays of mugwort followed by moisturizer, I had no issues.
Tip• On lazy days, I simply use cleansing water with a cotton pad, spray this mugwort essence mist 3 times, pat it in, and go to sleep. • Unless you have very oily skin, this could be your one-step skincare routine in the morning (not daily) if you're not particularly dry, depending on your skin type and the season. It's great not having product residue on your hands. • When using a light moisturizer, this could work well as a final step to form a protective layer.

It has a soothing effect when your skin is very red and has a burning sensation. When I use it as a skin pack, it really calms down that burning feeling! It has a rich texture. As someone with oily skin, this product wasn't quite right for me, but I think those with dry skin would love it. The spray power is decent. Some mists have terrible spray power, but this one envelops my entire face in a fine mist.
ConsFor oily skin types: It's too oily. When I spray it all over my face, it feels too oily and like there's a film covering my skin! Too much of a good thing. I used to spray it once before applying emulsion in the evening, and again before bed if my skin felt dry. But when I used too much, it seemed to cause excess oil, and the next day I woke up with blemishes popping up everywhere! Also, when I touched my face, it felt like everything was pilling. It seems good at first, but not so great with continued use. On first use, I thought it was nice due to the good ingredients and the soothing feeling. But from day 3 or 4, I found myself reaching for it less and less. I don't think it suits my skin type.
TipIt might be okay to use as a skin pack once in a while when your skin is extremely dry, but I wouldn't recommend it for those with oily skin. I received it through the Hwahae Testers program, but unfortunately, it wasn't for me.

I used it for 10 days. It's rich enough that there's no deep dryness at all! When I have dead skin cells, it's great to spray it during the basic skincare steps to calm them down. I originally applied products in the order of ampoule-emulsion-cream, but I used this mist between the ampoule and emulsion! I have combination dehydrated skin, so I usually pat each product to absorb due to deep dryness, but with this product, I felt like the layers were building up more nicely. It feels so firm and bouncy!
ConsSince it's a mist, it can get into your eyes! It stings a lot. When spraying, you can cover your eyes and apply it to one cheek at a time to avoid getting it in your eyes. The mugwort ingredient didn't seem to agree with me, as I started feeling a slight burning sensation from the third day. So I used it every 2-3 days, which worked well!
TipMy forehead and nose are oily, so even in winter, using this product with cream made me look shiny. So I spray it 2-3 times mainly on my cheeks. Adjust the number of sprays according to your skin type and condition. I also sprayed it on my neck to prevent neck wrinkles. I think it would be great for daily use on dry skin, and for combination or oily skin when it feels dry!

I always spray this right after cleansing my face morning and evening. I liked how moisturizing it felt after spraying.
ConsTo be honest, I'm not sure if it's because I've recently switched to two new skincare products or if it's because of this product, but I received this on February 11th and used it for 2-3 days. I noticed three small bumps appeared on my cheeks. Also, even though I sprayed it on a bare face with no oil after cleansing, it made my skin feel slippery? It felt like I had applied an extremely greasy nourishing cream, which I didn't like at all. Starting tomorrow, I think I'll try using it once as the final step in my skincare routine before makeup, rather than on bare skin.

Recently, there's been a trend of products with soothing ingredients like mugwort, so after trying another brand's essence a month ago and being quite satisfied, I had high expectations for this one. Scent - While others mentioned a mugwort or herbal clinic smell, I didn't notice it much. Packaging & Spray - The design is simple and clean without any unnecessary frills. I'm satisfied with the spray power. Instead of applying it with a cotton pad on the butterfly zone, I use it after cleansing and before my base makeup. Ingredients - I have super sensitive skin, which has become even more delicate since I started keeping a cat a few years ago. My skin is sensitive, prone to redness, and dry. Lately, I've been focusing more on soothing products rather than nourishing ones. The ingredients list looked good, with nothing particularly problematic, so I had high hopes for its soothing effects.
ConsDespite my expectations for its soothing properties, on the first day when I sprayed it all over my face, my eyelashes felt irritated and itchy. At first, I thought I might have used my eyelash curler incorrectly. But then, as shown in the photo, the area around my nostrils became red and inflamed, like dermatitis. My usual skincare routine was: Morning: Avene mist - Another brand's mugwort essence - Witch's Potion Hydrating Emulsion Evening: Guinot Cleansing Emulsion - Avene mist - Sheet mask or CNP Laboratory Propolis Ampoule depending on skin condition - Guinot Hydra Cream This product was the only new addition to my routine, so I've had to stop using it. The blemishes are concerning, but the itching is even worse. Overall impression: I usually try all kinds of skincare products, regardless of price, if people recommend them. While I occasionally get minor skin irritations (small spots, not acne or pimples), this is the first time I've experienced something like an allergic reaction with round, red patches. Although I can't be 100% certain it's because of this product, I've stopped using it for now.
