The gentle ingredients make it safe to use, which I really appreciate. ❤️Packaging It comes in a mist type, which is super convenient. It's my first time using an essence in mist form, and it's genuinely so easy to use! ❤️Effects I think it has a soothing effect, so I added it to my routine. When I had blemishes, I sprayed this on before bed, and it seemed to calm them down nicely. However, when my skin was really acting up, it didn't seem to agree with it and actually made things worse, unfortunately. ❤️Price I bought it during a sale, so I think I paid around $11 for it.
Cons😔Scent Not knowing what mugwort smelled like, I was quite surprised when I first sniffed this... It was an odd scent I'd never encountered before, but I've gotten used to it now. 😔Product Issue The mist comes out in a straight stream for me... So I either dispense it into my hand or spray it three times on my forehead and cheeks each, then pat it in.
TipWhen you have blemishes, it's great to spray this on a cotton pad and use it as a mask for a soothing effect. Keeping it in the fridge makes it feel cool and gives the sensation of reducing facial heat.

If you apply it well, it absorbs nicely, helps with redness, and is excellent for calming blemishes. It's truly a holy grail product! If you're on the fence about buying it, I'd say go for it!
ConsThere's nothing to complain about. The scent is very authentic, so it's a matter of personal preference. If you don't mind the smell of mugwort, you'll be fine. It smells like mugwort rice cakes, similar to what's commonly called 'dog rice cakes'.
TipHere's a pro tip: instead of just spraying it on, gently pat it into your skin for better absorption - it's a real skin savior. I use it more as a toner in my skincare routine rather than a mist. Keeping it in the bathroom to use after cleansing is an excellent choice.

After using it for just over ten days, here's my feedback. I have sensitive, thin skin. Overall, it's dry, but I need to manage oil in my T-zone. When I wear makeup, people say my skin looks good, but every so often, I get blemishes due to hormones, irregular lifestyle habits, or unhealthy food. So, I alternate between soothing blemishes and managing blemish marks each month. I used this as a toner replacement. At first, I was a bit surprised by the powerful spray, but since I'm going to pat it in anyway, it doesn't matter whether I spray it on my hands or directly on my face. It feels similar to Sidmool's Saccharomyces Oil Mist. It takes a little time to absorb, but I usually spend about ten minutes on my entire skincare routine anyway, so it wasn't a big deal. After absorption, it feels similar to how your skin feels after using a facial oil. After repeating this once or twice, finishing with a moisturizer is perfect. I really liked the subtle mugwort scent when applying, and it had a great soothing effect.
ConsThe spray power isn't great for using as a mist over makeup.
TipTake some time to press it into your skin with the warmth of your palms for a while.

While it didn't seem to suit my skin as I noticed some blemishes appearing, there were some positives during this short period. I really enjoyed the moisturizing effect. Currently, I'm using it on my dry back and body after showering, and it works great! My boyfriend (skin type: dry/large pores/occasional pimples) had a different experience. He found that: The hydration is excellent, preventing any feeling of tightness on his face. Unlike me, it actually helped calm down his blemishes. He's very satisfied and continues to use it regularly.
ConsI started using the Mugwort Essence when my blemishes had just cleared up. Unfortunately, from the second day, I noticed new breakouts appearing. Given how difficult it was to get my skin clear, I decided to stop using it and passed it on to my boyfriend. The downsides I noticed were that it absorbs slowly and feels slightly heavy on the skin.
TipIt might be best to ensure the product is fully absorbed before going to bed.

The spray format made it convenient to use. My skin was in poor condition and super sensitive with various stress-related blemishes. After consistent use, it made my skin look clearer and helped calm my blemishes. I tend to have deep dryness, but this product improved that to some extent. +Now I don't have any blemishes!
ConsThe cap is too tight, making it difficult to put on and take off. This is my first time using a product with mugwort, and I'm not sure if other products feel the same, but this one has an oily feel that's different from regular oil. It made me wonder at first. When I first started using it, my cheek area became red for a while, which worried me. However, there's no itching or dryness, so I'm using it without any issues.
TipIt's great to use right after cleansing as it prevents any feeling of tightness!

I have dry and sensitive skin, so when exposed to fine dust or other external irritants, I tend to develop small bumps. After using the Preju essence for over a week, I feel a similar satisfaction to when I used Brand B's essence. It seems to help in soothing those small bumps. Compared to Brand B's essence, it's much more affordable, and it's made with 100% mugwort extract, so I'd like to keep using it. Especially after yoga, when I sweat a lot and my face gets flushed, I plan to carry it around and use it as a mist. Since it's inexpensive, it's perfect for a quick application after working out without any financial burden.
ConsUnlike when I used Brand B's essence, Preju stung my eyes quite a bit when I sprayed it on my face. It was intense at first, but it seems to get better with continued use. Also, the finish feels quite unique. Instead of absorbing like water, it leaves a slight oily layer on the surface. It's like a silky texture... I think it might be a love-it-or-hate-it kind of formula.
TipWhen your face is flushed after a workout, regular mists might actually cause dryness, so spraying on the mugwort essence could be a great option!

Since I have blemishes, I applied it lightly as a toner replacement. It feels rich and sticky, but it absorbs well. If you layer a light emulsion on top, it's less sticky! Depending on the emulsion, it's great because it doesn't dry out the skin or cause deep dryness. The product itself might be better for dry skin. However, I highly recommend it for those with folliculitis or acne due to its soothing effects! You can really see the skin calming down gradually. While there's no dramatic change, it doesn't worsen redness. The mugwort ingredient is good for reducing inflammation, and I think I saw results using it as a toner. I thought mist products weren't cost-effective as they run out quickly, but this one has lasted quite a while. Considering the volume, the price seems reasonable, so I'll repurchase when I finish it!
ConsAlthough it's a mist product, the spray power isn't great. It's almost scary! At first, it came out so forcefully that I had to close my eyes tight. It's not a fine mist, just more like a regular spray bottle. When applied, it feels very sticky. On the first day, I wasn't sure if I'd continue using it because I couldn't get used to how it felt on the skin. Rather than being oily, it has a long-lasting sticky feeling, so if you don't like this texture, you might find it difficult to use. Also, it has quite a strong mugwort scent. Don't expect it to smell like mugwort rice cakes, but it has that distinct mugwort skincare fragrance. If you're sensitive to scents, you might find it hard to use. I've used other mugwort products before, so I actually liked it!
TipWhen using it, it's good to press down firmly! Of course, this might be because I'm not experienced with mist products. Make sure to apply an emulsion after using it. It helps reduce the stickiness.

Although I have oily skin, I tend to feel dryness in the dead of winter, but this product kept my skin hydrated! My skin is sensitive and prone to blemishes if I use the wrong products, but I didn't experience any breakouts. In fact, it seemed to calm my skin a bit. Being a liquid product from the hydrating family, it works great as long as you apply the right amount. Usually in mid-winter, I need to layer toner + serum + emulsion, or toner + emulsion mixed with a drop of oil to avoid dryness. But with this product, I only needed to apply this followed by an emulsion, and I didn't feel dry at all. It saved me time in the morning, which was convenient. I personally liked the subtle scent of mugwort. I enjoy these herbal, nature-inspired fragrances.
ConsIf you apply too much, it can feel a bit greasy. It's different from an oily feeling, more like a slight shine...? The spray could be improved. I wish it was more of a fine mist, but this product seems to dispense larger droplets.
TipFor better absorption, spray once or twice on your face, then spray some on a cotton pad and apply it like an exfoliating toner.

I've been using a popular product from a clothing brand known for its mugwort, and while I was satisfied with it, the price was a bit steep. I'm glad this product uses the same ingredients at a more affordable price! My skin tends to have severe redness on the cheeks and is prone to blemishes in summer, but this seems great for soothing! And I absolutely love the scent of mugwort - it feels like it's calming not just my skin, but my mind too. Since I have super sensitive skin, I felt that repeatedly using cotton pads was irritating, so I used to remove my makeup with cleansing water and then apply mugwort essence as a first essence before toner. I would pour it directly into my hands, but being a water-type product, it was quite wasteful. This mist type is great as it's non-irritating and can be used without waste.
ConsI tried spraying it frequently whenever my skin felt dry, but while it felt fine right after spraying, my skin would quickly become dry again. Also, probably because it's just an extract, it feels sticky. I wouldn't recommend using it as a mist over makeup.
TipI don't think this product is suitable as a mist for frequent use when skin feels dry. Instead, I've been keeping it in the bathroom and spraying it immediately after cleansing, replacing my usual first essence. It definitely seems good for soothing the skin. I recommend using it as a mist-type first essence!
