That's why instead of using it daily, I apply it generously and massage it in on days when my skin feels uncomfortable or looks blotchy. By the next day, the irritation subsides completely.
ConsDespite being a completely water-based formula, it absorbs slowly and feels like it's sitting on top of the skin. The finish is more slippery than refreshing.

As someone with super sensitive skin, it was gentle on my skin! You can find the best deal on Naver Shopping, where you can buy two for just 10,000 won.
ConsThe spray function is terrible. A few hours after applying, I developed red spots. The next day, I got two more folliculitis spots. It doesn't absorb well, leaving a greasy layer on the skin. It's not just moisturizing, but actually oily. It just doesn't work for me.
TipThis might be good for those who respond well to mugwort.

I have combination dehydrated skin - oily but lacking moisture. I don't often get acne or blemishes, but after some dermatology treatments, my skin became a bit sensitive. Recently, I've had some breakouts on my forehead and chin, so I was looking for mugwort-based products known to be good for blemishes. I came across this mist essence in a Hwahae Testers event and decided to try it. Although it's a mist essence, I used it like a toner by applying it with a cotton pad. 1. Effectiveness - I've been using this product for over two weeks, both as a toner and by soaking cotton pads and leaving them on troubled areas. My irritated skin didn't worsen, and the blemishes gradually subsided. While it wasn't a dramatic overnight improvement, I could see steady progress. The fact that my sensitive skin didn't react negatively suggests it's a very gentle product. I'm considering buying more mugwort-infused skincare products after I finish this one. 2. Scent - I'm not particularly fond of mugwort scent, but I don't mind fragrances in skincare products. When researching mugwort products, I saw some people complaining about overwhelming scents, but this product's fragrance isn't strong at all. Even those sensitive to smells should be able to use it comfortably. 3. Hydration - As someone with oily skin, I prefer less rich products even in winter, so my skincare routine tends to be on the drier side. However, as I've gotten older, my skin has become a bit drier, so I've started incorporating more hydrating products. This product doesn't provide intense hydration. It might be too dry for those with dry skin types. For me, it's adequately moisturizing when used before makeup in the morning, allowing my makeup to apply smoothly. However, when used at night after cleansing, followed by essence and moisturizer, it still felt a bit dry. I think it's suitable for creating a subtle glow before applying makeup in the morning. While I have combination dehydrated skin, those with oily skin who don't experience much dryness might find it suitable for both morning and evening use in winter. 4. I'm about 80% likely to purchase this product again.
Cons1. Texture - It doesn't absorb immediately into the skin, instead lingering on the surface. When I first used it, it felt slippery and left a residue on my hands, which I found off-putting. However, it didn't interfere with makeup application, so it wasn't a major issue. But if you dislike that feeling, this product might not be for you. 2. As mentioned earlier, it might be too dry for those with dry skin types. For oily skin, it might feel a bit heavy during summer. I think it's more suitable for winter use.
TipWhile I used it like a toner with a cotton pad, you could also try using it as a spot treatment by soaking cotton pads and leaving them on troubled areas like a mask. Also, for those with dry skin, spraying it before or after makeup can create a subtle glow effect (though it takes a bit of time to absorb into the skin).

I've been wanting to try products with mugwort extract like Bliblii or I'm From for a while now. I have oily, acne-prone skin that's been feeling dehydrated lately. I struggle with lots of small blemishes and enlarged pores. My skin is thick and not particularly sensitive to ingredients, but I avoid overly nourishing or oil-based products as they can cause breakouts. Recently, I had an Alladin peeling treatment, so my face was shedding like a lizard! Key points: 1. Texture - Being a mist, I expected it to absorb quickly without any oiliness. However, when over-applied, it leaves a slightly shiny film, different from an oily feeling. Two sprays on each cheek is just right. 2. Effects - I bought it hoping for soothing benefits from the mugwort extract. While it doesn't provide an immediate 'Wow! So soothing!' effect, I noticed my skin looked clearer and calmer the next morning. Overall, it's gentle and doesn't cause any blemishes or excess oil for me. The hydration is good for a mist, so I'm satisfied. 3. Hydration - Overapplying can make it feel a bit slippery, but it's not oily. As an essence mist, it's much more hydrating than regular water mists and the moisture doesn't evaporate quickly. 4. Post-treatment use - I've been using it from day 1 to day 5 after my Alladin peeling. It causes no irritation and actually feels soothing. I think it would be great for use after dermatological treatments. 5. Ingredients - I'm satisfied with the single mugwort extract formulation, but since the extraction method is crucial, including that information in the product description could set it apart from other brands.
ConsI wasn't expecting miraculous results from just mugwort extract, so I don't have many complaints. However, being an essence type, it can feel a bit heavy if overused. Also, the price isn't particularly cheap.
TipTwo sprays on each cheek and one spray each on the forehead, nose, and chin is just right. I've tried to write an honest review despite its shortcomings. Thank you!

Skin Type I have combination dehydrated skin with severe oiliness in the T-zone. Before using this product, I always had to layer a water-based toner twice after cleansing to address deep dryness. 2. How to Use This mugwort mist is designed to provide hydration immediately after cleansing. I sprayed it about 4 times all over my face post-cleanse. 3. Initial Impressions When I first applied it to my face, I felt an instant boost of hydration. Even after spraying 4 times and waiting for about 5 minutes, I didn't experience any deep dryness or feelings of dehydration. Also, my skin tends to flush easily, but I noticed a significant calming effect after using this mist.
Cons4. Feelings After Some Time After the initial hydration and waiting for it to dry a bit, when I touched my face, it felt like there was an artificial film on my skin. When I applied my usual toner after the mist, it seemed to sit on top of the skin rather than absorbing properly. 5. The Next Morning I typically stop using a product if my face (especially the U-zone) feels dry the next day. The morning after using this mist in the evening, I felt dryness and deep tightness in my U-zone. I think this might be because the toner didn't absorb properly after using the mist. So, I decided not to use the mist in my evening routine.
Tip6. How I Use This Product The Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation, which I often use, can feel dry even on my oily skin. So, I mainly use this mist in the morning to reduce redness after cleansing and minimize deep dryness. While it can feel a bit dry as time passes, I found it works well when I carry it with me and reapply throughout the day.

Absorbs well: As it's a mist, you can evenly spray and absorb it into your skin. 2. Hydration: It provides better moisture than other products containing mugwort. No tightness or dryness after application. 3. Value for money: The price is attractive compared to other products. 4. Ingredients: Made with single-ingredient mugwort extract, it's free from harmful substances, making it suitable for long-term use. 5. Effects: Improves complexion, evens skin tone, and gives a brightening effect. It has a calming effect on sensitive and reddened skin. It seems to be suitable for dry or super sensitive skin (assuming you're not allergic to mugwort).
Cons1. Texture: Slightly sticky and rich. It doesn't absorb deeply and feels like it sits on the surface, requiring a lot of patting for absorption. 2. Spray: The mist comes out in large droplets, which is annoying when it gets on your hair (That's why I sprayed it on my hands before applying. Haha)
TipRather than spraying it directly, I found it more effective to soak a cotton pad and use it as a mask. It left my skin hydrated and soothed!

I'm so excited! Anyway, I'll write an honest review. Imvely Essence It has a similar scent to Ollgott Mugwort. The texture is like flowing water (mist-like). It's thinner than an essence but thicker than a typical mist. The spray power is much better than any drugstore brand. It feels refreshing when spritzed on the face. It's similar in scent to recent mugwort essences, but much more cost-effective. Compared to Imvely's 150ml for 43,000 won, this is a great value. Probably due to the mugwort scent, it definitely has a calming effect. My skin tends to get quite red, and I work in a room with strong heating, so I need constant hydration. After using this, my redness noticeably decreased. It's amazing for those with oily or normal skin types. If you have facial redness, try using it as an overnight skin pack. The next day, your redness won't flare up. It's truly remarkable! Even sitting right under the heater, although my face gets warm, the redness is much less noticeable. Great for soothing the skin and also good for small blemishes like pimples. Update 04/05/2019 After using it for about 2 months, I changed my mind to 'Will repurchase'. This is really a holy grail product!! It's a 100% extract essence, but I initially thought it was too thin and only planned to use it as a mist substitute. Try soaking cotton pads with it generously for a skin pack, and in the morning, wipe your face with a soaked cotton pad, do another skin pack, then follow with your usual skincare routine (toner > cica balm > cream). You won't feel any dryness at all! I think it even has a brightening effect. It's amazing... I've never seen such immediate brightening results before. Everyone! This is an essence! Not a mist! Don't make the same mistake I did thinking it's too thin to be an essence. Make sure to use it with cotton pads as a skin pack. You'll see a clearer complexion the next day... Wow.. amazing.. brightening effect? I definitely need to repurchase this!
ConsSince it's 100% perennial mugwort extract without any other ingredients, it doesn't absorb well and just sits on the skin. It feels like it needs a galvanic device to be absorbed properly. I definitely can't use this for hydration at work. I have dry skin and work in a place with strong heating. When I spray this on, it just sits on my skin surface before disappearing as if it was never there... Then my face suddenly feels like a desert.. Ouch! I thought my skin was going to crack. Super dry skin types, be very careful!
TipYou might need to use a galvanic device or soak cotton pads generously and use it as a skin pack! I received this as part of The Hwahae Testers program, but I'm writing honestly. Well... I'm not sure about repurchasing... I'll use it more and see.
