As a water-based toner, it might make my dry skin feel less hydrated, but it's perfectly suited for the season - cool and lightweight. It absorbs well, and most importantly, the stubborn cluster of about 20 tiny bumps that had been bombarding my forehead for half a year completely vanished after using just one bottle and maintaining a consistent routine. There's really nothing negative to say about it except for the scent, which isn't great. I'd highly recommend this to anyone with sensitive skin prone to blemishes and tiny bumps. After cleansing, I found it even more effective to apply the toner with a cotton pad, then leave the pad on my face for 2-3 minutes. This seemed to enhance its benefits. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAug 29, 2020
The best aspects were its soothing effect and how it felt on my skin. While it didn't dramatically eliminate blemishes, there was a noticeable calming effect. It was particularly effective in reducing redness. The texture was incredibly refreshing - it didn't feel like I had applied anything, just that my skin had absorbed a burst of hydration. The generous amount in the bottle was also a plus! It's more refreshing than deeply moisturizing, so I'm not sure how those with super dry skin might find it... I think you could see even better results if you use it alongside their Red Spot Emulsion. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJul 27, 2020
It absorbs quickly when used as a toner and leaves my skin feeling hydrated. People sensitive to fragrances might find this suitable as it's not irritating. One evening when I was too lazy, I only used this toner and my skin didn't feel tight or cracked at all! I'm glad I didn't experience any blemishes while using this product. However, I haven't seen the advertised effects of blemishes disappearing yet, which is a bit disappointing. On days when my skin needs soothing, I use this for a toner mask routine! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinJul 25, 2020
I was expecting antioxidant benefits, as usually such products brighten my complexion. However, this product stood out not for its effect on my skin tone, but for how incredibly well it absorbs into the skin. It provided exceptional hydration without any irritation. I found it even better than the Dokdo Toner! I typically write reviews immediately, but I delayed this one because, apart from its excellent absorption, I couldn't notice any significant effects after using it for several days. Perhaps it's unrealistic to expect immediate results from a toner? - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJul 24, 2020
Here's my review after using it for two weeks. The water-like texture absorbs well! I felt a slight tingling sensation when I first started using it, but it got better as I continued. My skin is combination with an oily T-zone and dry U-zone. I'm prone to blemishes around my nose area and chin. The blemishes around my nose were always stubborn, even with diligent skincare. They would subside but come back, causing stress. However, since using this product, they've calmed down the most, so I'll keep using it to monitor the progress. I recommend this not only for oily skin but also for combination skin like mine that's prone to occasional blemishes. While there's a slight feeling of immediate improvement in blemishes, I think using it consistently for at least two weeks will lead to even better skin improvement. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJul 24, 2020
Initially, I was skeptical about using this product since the scent wasn't to my liking. However, I decided to give it a fair try since I won it. Now, on the fourth day of use, I'm pleasantly surprised! My skin, which had become sensitive due to wearing masks, feels much calmer. It absorbs well without any irritation, and I'm more satisfied than I expected. Haha! The fragrance isn't my cup of tea. It has that typical cosmetic smell, which made me think it might not be anything special. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 24, 2020
It's fantastic for calming redness! Highly recommended! There's a subtle floral scent, which is quite pleasant. The texture is quite fluid. When you first apply it, it feels slippery like hyaluronic acid, but then it absorbs quickly, leaving your skin feeling soft. I loved how refreshing it felt. It's not the type that completely disappears without a trace, but rather leaves your skin feeling perfectly refreshed. It's an ideal hydrating toner for summer, providing deep moisture. What I loved most was how well it calmed redness. My complexion had been looking a bit uneven and blotchy, but using this really helped even out my skin tone and significantly reduced redness. It doesn't feel irritating at all and is great for soothing the skin. The value for money could be better. The volume isn't particularly large, but the price is quite high. Also, the container is on the heavy side, which made it a bit inconvenient to use. It would work well as a skin pack, and I also enjoyed mixing it with centella powder and using it as a mist! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJul 24, 2020
Shade 17 for cool-toned combination to oily skin #The Hwahae Testers review The refreshing scent of ingredients like centella and madecassoside, which are great for blemish-prone skin, was invigorating with every application. I used it as an exfoliating toner, and even without applying anything else on top, my skin didn't feel tight. Yet it's not overly heavy either. It absorbs quickly! When I had extra time, I'd soak cotton pads and use them as a mask. The toner having a fragrance might disappoint those who prefer unscented products. After using it for about a week, I didn't notice any significant effects. It was just okay. With so many products containing ingredients good for blemishes, this one didn't really stand out. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJul 24, 2020
I've been struggling with skin blemishes due to wearing masks lately, but whether by chance or not, my skin troubles have calmed down significantly since using this product. It seems to have a great soothing effect. The hydration is also good! I used it with a cotton pad, and it works wonderfully as an exfoliating toner! It's not irritating to the skin, doesn't have a burning sensation, and absorbs well, leaving the skin moisturized. There's no rich feeling at all, so I think even those with oily skin can use it without any issues! Interestingly, the toner is red, but I found out it's not due to added colorants, but rather from the extracts. It contains hibiscus, raspberry, and other ingredients. While it seems to be marketed for acne-prone skin, in my experience, it's a gentle daily toner suitable for all skin types. Personally, I'm not a fan of the toner's scent. It has that typical rose fragrance found in many commercial products. I prefer unscented toners, so the fragrance was a bit bothersome for me. However, it wasn't disruptive enough to make usage uncomfortable, and the scent dissipates quickly. Also, it comes in a glass-like bottle, which makes it a bit heavy and difficult to control the amount dispensed. Make sure to use a cotton pad! There was a significant difference in how it absorbed into the skin when applied with hands versus using a cotton pad. It would also be great to use it as a quick mask with a cotton pad. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJul 24, 2020
Texture: It's a lightweight water toner with a transparent red-tinted liquid. Absorption: The watery formula absorbs well into the skin. Hydration: While it provides some hydration, don't expect intense moisturization due to its water-based nature. It offers typical water toner hydration, which works well when layered with ampoules or creams. I was satisfied that it didn't cause any deep dryness. Richness: There's a slight richness to it. It worked well for my combination dehydrated skin! Scent: It has a sweet and refreshing scent from hibiscus and raspberry extracts. I really enjoyed it! Effectiveness: I have sensitive skin, and this product didn't cause any blemishes. It helped soothe redness and had a calming effect. I noticed a slight reduction in oiliness, suggesting it helps balance oil and moisture levels. Ingredients: Apart from PEG, I was satisfied with all the ingredients. Price: Compared to other brands, it's slightly pricier for the amount you get. However, considering it's a functional toner, the price is reasonable. Effectiveness: I'm unsure about its effectiveness on existing blemishes.
