It's great for a light skincare routine. The scent seems nice, and the packaging is pretty. The texture is water-like. I have super sensitive skin, and when I apply it, I feel a burning sensation. If I put it near my eyes, it stings too much, so now I only use it as a toner mask by soaking it in a pad. I'm not sure if it's hydrating or moisturizing. Using it with a used pad seems to be a good way to recycle pads and makes it convenient to use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJul 24, 2020
First off, my skin type is combination dehydrated with occasional chin blemishes. Personally, I loved the subtle fragrance. Usually, toners for acne-prone skin have a strong alcohol scent, but this one seems to be very gentle. Most reviews I've seen mention using this as an exfoliating toner. I already have one for that purpose, so I applied this after my exfoliating toner. However, I noticed small blemishes appearing on my chin. It might be due to my menstrual cycle... After using it for two days, I felt like sebum was constantly building up, so I've stopped using it for now. While it didn't cause any cystic acne, it felt too hydrating and left a slight coating feeling that didn't seem to suit my skin. I plan to try it again after my cycle ends, this time as an exfoliating toner. Looking at reviews from 2019, it seems the lid was more convenient back then. The current twist-open design is prettier, though! I'll update my review after giving it another try. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 24, 2020
<The Hwahae Testers Review> Usage period: One week Skin type: Combination dehydrated skin Prone to blemishes depending on environmental factors or cosmetics No allergic reactions ⭐️ Texture: Flows easily like water ⭐️ Application: Incredibly hydrating. The high moisture content seems to last long, with almost no rich feeling Applies without irritation ⭐️ Scent: Subtle rose fragrance ⭐️ Ingredients: Approved. The ingredients are excellent Initially, it feels moisturizing and hydrating, but over time, there's a slight sensation of dryness For some reason, after switching to this toner, I started getting small pimples here and there While the scent is subtle, those who dislike rose fragrances might not appreciate it It might work well as a mask if you soak a cotton pad generously. Since it's a product with high hydration, leaving it on for a while seems beneficial - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 24, 2020
The best part was its clean feel and delightful scent! For my oily skin, it didn't leave any residual greasiness, allowing me to move past the toner step while maintaining a more hydrated sensation. I highly recommend this to those struggling with sticky or oily toners! Also, while many functional products often have unpleasant scents, this toner has a lovely fragrance that matches its red formula, making application a pleasant experience without any discomfort. The most disappointing aspect was not seeing the main benefits of a red spot toner, which are acne soothing and prevention. In fact, since I started using this toner, I've noticed more blemishes and pimples appearing on my face. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJul 23, 2020
Review selected by The Hwahae Testers ♥ I was chosen for The Hwahae Testers event and got to use this product. I have combination dehydrated skin that's super sensitive and prone to inflammatory acne. With all these challenging skin conditions, I'm always cautious when trying new products, even those with good ingredients. I've been using this for just under two weeks. 1. It doesn't cause new blemishes. The ingredients seem decent, and I didn't experience any irritation or breakouts. 2. It's a cleansing toner that still hydrates. It has a water-like texture that cleanses well while leaving a moisturized feeling. It feels nourishing, making it suitable for evening use. 1. Despite the seemingly good ingredients, I feel a slight warmth when I use it to cleanse my face. It's not hot, but there's a subtle, mild heat sensation. (While it doesn't cause blemishes, I wonder if it might not suit my skin.) 2. It leaves a moisturized feeling when applied, but it seems to hinder the absorption of other skincare products applied afterwards. There's a slight feeling of products sitting on top of the skin. I prefer a matte makeup finish. This product has a noticeable hydrating effect, and layering more products on top can feel a bit heavy. For skin types like mine, I'd recommend using it at night before bed, followed by a hydrating moisturizer to finish your routine. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 12, 2020
It feels moisturizing and I think it might improve my skin, but I'm breaking out a bit, possibly because I switched my toner I'm not sure if it's because I changed my skincare basics, but I'm breaking out. It's supposed to be soothing, but I can't tell if it's actually calming my skin. My skin is so problematic and unusual that nothing seems to soothe it
