The best aspects were its soothing effect and how it felt on my skin. While it didn't dramatically eliminate blemishes, there was a noticeable calming effect. It was particularly effective in reducing redness. The texture was incredibly refreshing - it didn't feel like I had applied anything, just that my skin had absorbed a burst of hydration. The generous amount in the bottle was also a plus! It's more refreshing than deeply moisturizing, so I'm not sure how those with super dry skin might find it... I think you could see even better results if you use it alongside their Red Spot Emulsion. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJul 27, 2020
The Hwahae Testers This toner is incredibly hydrating and provides excellent moisture. The ingredients are so good that during the two weeks I used it, my redness disappeared and I didn't experience any blemishes! It has a great soothing effect too. On days when my skin was irritated, I used it as a skin pack, and when applied after cleansing, it quickly calmed my skin. I'm prone to blemishes around my nose area, so I soaked a cotton pad with the toner and left it on the red, troubled areas for 3-5 minutes. By the next morning, the redness had significantly reduced. Overall, after wiping my face with it, I found it gently refined my skin texture. The luxurious packaging also makes it a pleasure to use. I'm using this as an exfoliating toner, but it's difficult to dispense. I have to shake it several times to get enough product out. While the container is pretty, it's a bit heavy. I recommend using it with a cotton pad for exfoliating rather than applying it with your hands! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJul 27, 2020
It absorbs quickly when used as a toner and leaves my skin feeling hydrated. People sensitive to fragrances might find this suitable as it's not irritating. One evening when I was too lazy, I only used this toner and my skin didn't feel tight or cracked at all! I'm glad I didn't experience any blemishes while using this product. However, I haven't seen the advertised effects of blemishes disappearing yet, which is a bit disappointing. On days when my skin needs soothing, I use this for a toner mask routine! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJul 25, 2020
Abundant hydration. This low pH toner balances the skin. Even with just the toner, my face doesn't feel dry but becomes delightfully moist. The scent is subtle without any artificial fragrance, so it's likely to suit everyone's preferences! My husband and I used it together. He has seborrheic dermatitis and is prone to redness, but this seemed to have a calming effect. When I wiped his face and applied it generously on cotton pads to his cheeks, the redness would quickly subside. He loves that there's no skin tightness, and it feels as moisturizing as if he'd applied an essence. I have combination dehydrated skin, but whether it was due to my skin condition being off, even when I used it solely as an exfoliating toner, I kept getting small blemishes around my nose area. My face became slightly oily, as if it was over-nourished. I'm not sure if it's a purging phase or if it just doesn't suit me... Given the ingredients and benefits, these issues should have improved, so I don't understand why it's only happening to me. I even tried using it alone without any other skincare products, but the problem persisted. However, it worked great for my husband who has oily skin. Not only as an exfoliating toner, but as advertised, when you soak cotton pads generously and gently press them onto your face, it works like a soothing mask, leaving your skin moisturized with a great calming effect. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 24, 2020
First off, it's clean and the hydration is pretty good. Honestly, I've only ever used the Dokdo Toner before, but I decided to give this a try. I was pleasantly surprised by how long-lasting the moisture is, and I felt it made my skin texture smoother. I personally recommend this. It even worked well for me with atopic dermatitis. It's best to use it in the evening, as it might sting a bit in the morning. For those with atopic dermatitis who scratch their face, only apply it at night. Oh, and the toner bottle? Case? Whatever it is, it feels luxurious. Honestly, cosmetics can't usually be pretty, but this one looks sleek and sophisticated. The downside is that it's a bit hard to dispense. You have to tap it several times to get the product out. To be honest, I think it's better than having it gush out, but this is like trying to squeeze out the last drop. I think it would be good to widen the opening a bit. Other than that, no complaints! Make sure to apply it with a cotton pad for sure. You absolutely need to use a cotton pad for evening out skin texture. For oily skin, I recommend wiping three times. If you don't have atopic dermatitis, wiping about five times might make your skin even better. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinJul 24, 2020
Here's my review as a member of The Hwahae Testers after using this product for two weeks: Fragrance: It has a subtle rose scent. As someone sensitive to fragrances, I found it not artificial at all and not bothersome during use. In fact, I quite enjoyed the scent. Texture and Feel: This toner is bursting with hydration. Due to its high moisture content, I used it as a skin pack. Generously soaking cotton pads and leaving them on for 10-15 minutes not only calmed my skin but also left it feeling wonderfully hydrated. In this hot and humid weather, I didn't even need to apply additional cream after the skin pack - it wasn't dry at all! If you have dry skin, you can achieve super hydrated skin care by following the skin pack with just a light moisturizer. Soothing Effect: It quickly calmed my skin, which is prone to redness. When I used it as a skin pack on sudden breakouts, while it didn't completely eliminate the blemishes, it did reduce the heat and inflammation. Packaging & Color: The product comes in a heavy glass bottle. While it's not particularly cumbersome to use, I wish they'd switch to plastic packaging and lower the price. The color is uniquely red. I was initially concerned about artificial coloring, but was relieved to learn it's from natural pigments. - The glass packaging is a downside. As mentioned earlier, I'd prefer if it came in a plastic container. - Since I mostly use it as a skin pack, it seems to run out quickly. Given the quantity, the price point feels a bit high, making it a bit of a financial burden. - Other than that, I have no complaints. - Make sure to try it as a skin pack. The strength of this toner is its intense hydration, and using it as a skin pack really maximizes this benefit. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 24, 2020
<The Hwahae Testers Review> Usage period: One week Skin type: Combination dehydrated skin Prone to blemishes depending on environmental factors or cosmetics No allergic reactions ⭐️ Texture: Flows easily like water ⭐️ Application: Incredibly hydrating. The high moisture content seems to last long, with almost no rich feeling Applies without irritation ⭐️ Scent: Subtle rose fragrance ⭐️ Ingredients: Approved. The ingredients are excellent Initially, it feels moisturizing and hydrating, but over time, there's a slight sensation of dryness For some reason, after switching to this toner, I started getting small pimples here and there While the scent is subtle, those who dislike rose fragrances might not appreciate it It might work well as a mask if you soak a cotton pad generously. Since it's a product with high hydration, leaving it on for a while seems beneficial - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJul 24, 2020
I've been struggling with skin blemishes due to wearing masks lately, but whether by chance or not, my skin troubles have calmed down significantly since using this product. It seems to have a great soothing effect. The hydration is also good! I used it with a cotton pad, and it works wonderfully as an exfoliating toner! It's not irritating to the skin, doesn't have a burning sensation, and absorbs well, leaving the skin moisturized. There's no rich feeling at all, so I think even those with oily skin can use it without any issues! Interestingly, the toner is red, but I found out it's not due to added colorants, but rather from the extracts. It contains hibiscus, raspberry, and other ingredients. While it seems to be marketed for acne-prone skin, in my experience, it's a gentle daily toner suitable for all skin types. Personally, I'm not a fan of the toner's scent. It has that typical rose fragrance found in many commercial products. I prefer unscented toners, so the fragrance was a bit bothersome for me. However, it wasn't disruptive enough to make usage uncomfortable, and the scent dissipates quickly. Also, it comes in a glass-like bottle, which makes it a bit heavy and difficult to control the amount dispensed. Make sure to use a cotton pad! There was a significant difference in how it absorbed into the skin when applied with hands versus using a cotton pad. It would also be great to use it as a quick mask with a cotton pad. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 24, 2020
The best part was its clean feel and delightful scent! For my oily skin, it didn't leave any residual greasiness, allowing me to move past the toner step while maintaining a more hydrated sensation. I highly recommend this to those struggling with sticky or oily toners! Also, while many functional products often have unpleasant scents, this toner has a lovely fragrance that matches its red formula, making application a pleasant experience without any discomfort. The most disappointing aspect was not seeing the main benefits of a red spot toner, which are acne soothing and prevention. In fact, since I started using this toner, I've noticed more blemishes and pimples appearing on my face. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJul 24, 2020
Hello there! I got the chance to try out Dr. Mind Red Pot Toner through The Hwahae Testers. Since I've been using Dr. Mind's cleansing foam regularly, I felt confident enough to start by soaking a cotton pad generously for an exfoliating toner session right away! First off, the red color is quite unique and intense... While I'm usually wary of colored products, the ingredients list looks pretty gentle. After exfoliating, I noticed that the hydration level was probably the best I've experienced from any toner so far! I honestly only expected it to refine my skin texture, but as I gently patted it in after exfoliating, I could feel my skin becoming plump with moisture. It's not oiliness, but a real sense of deep hydration. As someone with combination dehydrated skin who dislikes excess oil, I absolutely love how it seems to infuse my skin with pure hydration! Another plus is that the fragrance isn't overpowering. It feels so gentle that I'm tempted to use it liberally! There's no dramatic improvement in terms of blemish soothing or anything like that. I'm just satisfied that it doesn't cause any new blemishes. The container feels a bit heavy. I think it would be even better if they changed the packaging and lowered the price a bit! I enjoy using toners generously for exfoliating or cotton pad masks, so I prefer products with good value and larger quantities. It's great for soaking cotton pads and using as a mask! Seems like it would work well as a hydrating mask.
