This is my fourth bottle of this product. As someone with dry skin, it's perfect for me year-round, except for the peak of summer, as it doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy. It doesn't cause any irritation around the eyes either. In midsummer, it did feel a bit oily, and when the weather got hotter, the oil separated, making it tricky to use. I think it would be good to store it in the refrigerator during the height of summer. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 26, 2021
My top priority when choosing sunscreen is one that doesn't sting my eyes. I've tried several popular mineral sunscreens, but they all irritated my eyes. This one, however, is truly excellent. Please keep producing it! While it's a bit sticky and leaves a slight sheen, I can tolerate that as long as it doesn't sting my eyes. It's a trade-off I'm willing to make! I apply it in small amounts multiple times - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJul 21, 2021
I love that it doesn't sting my eyes and has a slight corrective effect. I was worried it might cause blemishes, but it's actually quite nice! It tends to pill a bit when applying makeup. Also, it has a slightly matte finish. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 5, 2021
I have combination dehydrated skin that's super sensitive and prone to deep dryness. I decided to trust Dr. Alga and give it a try, and I'm quite satisfied with this product! First off, the ingredients are great and it's gentle enough for my blemish-prone skin without causing any irritation. The texture is a bit thick when applying, but it absorbs well and isn't too sticky. Plus, it's a mineral sunscreen that doesn't sting my eyes, which is fantastic. The brightening effect is subtle - just a slight correction? What I really appreciate is that it doesn't pill or leave a white cast, making it even better. It's light enough to wear alone on bare skin without feeling heavy, and it also works great as a makeup base without causing my makeup to slide around. The only downside for me was that it felt a bit drying after a while. I think I'll need to layer it over a solid skincare routine. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSep 14, 2020
The biggest advantage is that it's a silicone-free sunscreen with mineral UV filters. It has a moisturizing feel without being matte. Works well under foundation, especially with semi-matte or matte formulas. No eye irritation or blemishes. Even if it separates, gently massaging it helps it absorb smoothly. Using this alone can make skin look greasy, and darkening occurs over time. To avoid embarrassment, you need to apply a brightening moisturizer or light makeup before going out. Due to natural surfactants, the formula's binding is weak, causing separation of water and cream. It's unpleasant when water comes out first, followed by the sunscreen - it doesn't look neat and the water just drips down. I really dislike this feeling. With so many other good sunscreens available, I won't be repurchasing. To minimize separation, knead the tube container before squeezing out the product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinAug 24, 2020
It's gentle and doesn't sting the eyes. I apply it daily on my face along with my child. As I used it, I noticed the clear liquid and cream would separate, but shaking it before use solved the issue. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 13, 2020
I really liked that it wasn't irritating and didn't cause any eye stinging. It seems to provide good sun protection, and I appreciated the natural brightening effect it gave my complexion. My skin does tend to crack quite a bit with this... It feels like all the dead skin cells are lifting, and as I apply it, I notice a lot of pilling. I found that applying it after my basic skincare routine improved how well it absorbs. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 16, 2020
I have super sensitive skin and have been diagnosed with rosacea, so I use products that minimize irritation. I also seek out brands that minimize animal testing and the use of animal-derived ingredients. I prefer brands like Dr. Alga, Sioris, Manyo Factory, and Klairs. I was using about 50 products from the same brand, but when I experienced some irritation on my face, I discovered that there were ingredients that didn't agree with my skin. While I liked the absorption and the fact that it didn't sting my eyes, I was disappointed. That's when this product was recommended to me, and I switched to using it. I've been using it for about a week now, and I love that it doesn't sting my eyes. The ingredients are also non-irritating for sensitive skin, so I'm using it with peace of mind. So far, I don't have any particular complaints. The absorption is good, and I like that it's not sticky. If I apply it after a thorough skincare routine, I can tolerate the dryness unless I'm out for a long time. I tend to wear light makeup. If I do a thorough skincare routine and use sunscreen instead of makeup base, I can achieve a translucent skin look! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 8, 2020
As someone who's really conscious about sun protection, I've tried various products before settling on this mineral sunscreen. The white cast is better than expected, giving a slight brightening effect. I love that it doesn't sting my eyes or have an irritating scent. It does leave a bit of a glow, making the skin look slightly dewy. While I appreciate its gentleness, I'm still on the hunt for a sunscreen for students that doesn't have any tone-correcting effect. The moisturizing effect might be a bit too much for summer, going beyond just hydration to feeling almost uncomfortably rich. Also, depending on the user, the brightening effect could appear as a noticeable white cast, which might be off-putting for some. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinDec 2, 2019
As someone with combination dehydrated skin, here's what I consider the biggest advantages of this mineral sunscreen: No deep dryness or white cast. The tube packaging is economical - you can cut it open to use every last drop. It's incredibly gentle - I experienced no eye irritation or tingling sensation at all. I apply it at 7 AM. By lunchtime, my face is an oil slick. Even two blotting papers aren't enough. After just a week of use, I've got blemishes popping up everywhere - nose bridge, around the nose, chin, cheeks, you name it. I've never encountered a sunscreen that causes so many blemishes. It's a stark reminder of why I need to be cautious with skincare products.
