Dr. Alga's sunscreen gives your complexion a radiant peach-beige glow. The texture isn't too heavy, making your skin feel comfortable, and it absorbs well! Even after hours, I didn't experience any dryness or darkening. It's formulated with gentle ingredients that won't irritate sensitive skin, and they transparently share their SPF clinical results, so I used it with confidence. The price is on the higher side, and it's not very accessible. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinAug 3, 2021
The ingredients are so gentle and non-irritating to the skin, which is fantastic! Since it's a mineral sunscreen, you need to apply it in small amounts and pat it in thoroughly for proper absorption! Remember to apply sunscreen 30 minutes before going outside! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 5, 2021
I have combination dehydrated skin that's super sensitive and prone to deep dryness. I decided to trust Dr. Alga and give it a try, and I'm quite satisfied with this product! First off, the ingredients are great and it's gentle enough for my blemish-prone skin without causing any irritation. The texture is a bit thick when applying, but it absorbs well and isn't too sticky. Plus, it's a mineral sunscreen that doesn't sting my eyes, which is fantastic. The brightening effect is subtle - just a slight correction? What I really appreciate is that it doesn't pill or leave a white cast, making it even better. It's light enough to wear alone on bare skin without feeling heavy, and it also works great as a makeup base without causing my makeup to slide around. The only downside for me was that it felt a bit drying after a while. I think I'll need to layer it over a solid skincare routine. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJun 26, 2021
After extensive research, I chose this non-nano mineral sunscreen with gentle, skin-friendly ingredients that both adults and children can use. It's especially great for kids since it's easily washable, solving the cleansing issue. The tinted formula seems to offer a slight brightening effect on the complexion. The short shelf life is a downside. It may cause deep dryness for those with dry skin. There's a slight white cast. Apply eye cream all over your face, then spritz with a facial mist. Use a sponge or brush to blend it in evenly. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 3, 2021
It's great that it's not too drying and doesn't cause any irritation. The brightening color seems a bit dull. I wish it had a more natural, brighter effect. You probably won't need a separate base before applying makeup. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 10, 2021
It's so gentle that I haven't found anything better for sensitive skin yet. I'm currently using it after repurchasing. It tends to be on the drier side, so it can feel a bit tight after a while. You might want to apply a solid base layer before using this. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 4, 2020
First off, I love how well it absorbs! It's also gentle, which I really appreciate! However, it seems a bit too rich for my skin type, especially since I have oily skin... It's not bad if you follow up with some powder though - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSep 21, 2020
I appreciate that it's a non-nano mineral sunscreen. It's gentle on the skin and has mild ingredients. It feels like it doesn't cleanse well with just the first step of cleansing. The white cast makes it uncomfortable to reapply... - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 11, 2020
This sunscreen is silicone-free, non-nano, and made with organic ingredients, making it trustworthy and safe to use. It's gentle on the skin, making it ideal for those with super sensitive skin. The scent really didn't agree with me, and the texture was too thick, making it uncomfortable to apply. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinAug 24, 2020
It's gentle and doesn't sting the eyes. I apply it daily on my face along with my child. As I used it, I noticed the clear liquid and cream would separate, but shaking it before use solved the issue.
