It absorbs so well! Glides on smoothly! I love how gentle the product is! It doesn't feel heavy and applies thinly! While it's not extremely hydrating, it does provide some moisture. However, it might be a bit light for those with dry or very dry skin. I wouldn't recommend this for oily skin types as it's too rich. The slightly sticky finish might not appeal to those who prefer a matte look. Since this sunscreen is quite rich, I always finish with a powder after applying it! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinJun 14, 2019
• The hydration is lovely - it's not greasy or heavy, but leaves a beautiful glow when applied! • Compared to other mineral sunscreens I've tried that felt a bit stiff when spreading, this one applies very smoothly, absorbs well without stickiness. No eye irritation at all! I was worried since other mineral sunscreens made my eyes itchy, stinging, red and puffy. • In summer, I tend to sweat around my nose and upper lip area, so it's annoying to touch up foundation. This product is great as a brightening moisturizer instead - it doesn't make you super pale in one application, so you can build up the coverage as needed. The scent is also pleasant and subtle. Those who prefer a more matte finish sunscreen might not love this. Other than that, I'm not particularly sensitive-skinned and I'm very satisfied using this product! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 3, 2019
The Hwahae Testers review: 1. Application & Texture Easy to apply with a moisturizing texture that's not too thick Great for those with dry skin! 2. Color & White Cast The color is a light apricot or pink shade. Due to the mineral filters, there's a slight white cast right after application. It's not too noticeable and fades over time, which I found acceptable. 3. Scent The product claims to contain 34.82% organic ingredients, and it truly has a subtle organic juice-like scent. The fragrance isn't overpowering, so it didn't bother me much. 4. Blemishes Despite having oily, blemish-prone skin, I didn't experience significant breakouts. This might be due to its non-nano, silicone-free, mineral filter formula with 34.82% organic ingredients and 100% naturally-derived components. Given my usual skin condition, this sunscreen didn't cause extra blemishes and maintained my typical complexion. 5. Eye Irritation While my eyes aren't particularly sensitive, I sometimes experience irritation with chemical sunscreens (e.g., Tony Moly and The Face Shop sunscreens). However, I didn't experience any eye irritation with this Olga sunscreen, which I really appreciated! 1. Oiliness While this might be great for those with dry skin due to its moisturizing properties, as someone with oily skin, I prefer a more matte finish. Even when applying my usual amount of sunscreen, it felt too greasy. I wouldn't recommend this to those who dislike sticky sunscreens! 2. Ingredients I wasn't aware of any potentially problematic ingredients, but when I checked the Hwahae app, I found it contains stearic acid, which can clog pores for those with oily skin. If you know stearic acid doesn't work well for you, it might be best to avoid this product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 3, 2019
This is a review from The Hwahae Testers. I've been applying this product frequently because it's known to be gentle, and it truly is! It doesn't feel heavy at all, and it leaves my skin feeling light and fresh. It even provides a slight brightening effect. While it's not completely free from pilling, compared to other products... it's much better! The scent is also mild, which I really appreciate. I expected it to have a thick texture that would leave my skin feeling powdery, but it actually leaves a bit of a shiny finish... There's also some transfer, unfortunately. Since I don't like the shininess, I usually apply some no-sebum powder after using this. I find that applying it with a brush can cause pilling, so I prefer to pat it on with a puff instead. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 2, 2019
The Hwahae Testers' review! - Subtle brightening effect - Fairly moisturizing and absorbs well - Non-sticky finish - Doesn't cause pilling with makeup - Seems relatively gentle on the skin - Product clumps and hardens at the opening - Brightening effect is minimal and doesn't last long - Doesn't provide a matte finish - Expensive for the small amount you get Since this isn't a moisturizing sunscreen, it's best to use it before applying a hydrating foundation - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 28, 2019
The way it absorbs isn't bad at all, and I like that there's no severe white cast. Above all, I feel reassured by the skin-friendly ingredients. Personally, I prefer sunscreens that apply moistly but finish with a powdery feel. This sunscreen, however, feels more rich than hydrating, so I always have to dust some powder on top after application. Since it's quite rich, it's best to follow up with some powder. - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 28, 2019
<A review from The Hwahae Testers> When I first squeezed it out, I thought it might brighten my skin tone since it matched my complexion, but it only does so slightly. It absorbs smoothly, but it sets quickly, so you need to quickly spread it over each area of your face. If you apply too much or layer it, your face becomes quite shiny - I mean it looks rich in oils. Still, the staying power is decent, so I use it occasionally. As a student, when I'm in a hurry in the morning, I only apply sunscreen. However, this one looks too oily, so I had to add powder before leaving. I wish it would feel more matte after application. Also, I was disappointed that it doesn't brighten the complexion much. After spreading it somewhat with your hands, pat it with a damp sponge for a seamless application. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 19, 2019
I won this in a Hwahae event and tried it out. It's great! It gives a subtle glow and slightly brightens my complexion. The scent might be polarizing for some people. As someone who prefers matte sunscreens, I wasn't too fond of this one. I found that mixing it with foundation works well for me. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 22, 2019
I loved everything I look for when choosing a sunscreen! The absorbs well without being sticky, and it evens skin tone just right. It's not sticky, but when applying it feels slightly oily like an emulsion. After a short while, it absorbs and doesn't leave any greasy feeling at all. I obviously don't like it when it's too sticky, but I also don't like it when it's too dry because it can make makeup application patchy and difficult. This one is just perfect, so I felt great when I first applied it. And instead of leaving a white cast, it nicely evens out the complexion, which I really appreciated. With SPF 50 and PA+++, its protection is spot-on. Plus, it's non-nano, silicone-free, organic, and 100% naturally derived ingredients, so I find myself reaching for it often, knowing I'm applying something somewhat healthier to my skin. I didn't really have any complaints while using it. The ingredients are said to be gentle, so it should be suitable for any skin type. However, those with very oily skin might find it a bit rich, as the texture isn't exactly matte. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 18, 2019
The Hwahae Testers Review I was selected for The Hwahae Testers for the first time! So, with excitement, I'm sharing my review after using it for about a week. First off, please know that just because I was chosen for The Hwahae Testers, I won't exaggerate or only write positive things. Gentle My skin tends to react quickly if a new product doesn't suit it. However, despite suddenly starting to use this product, I've been using it without any blemishes. Natural Brightening Usually, sunscreens make my skin look too white and patchy, but this one naturally brightens my complexion, which I really like! Not Drying This product is somewhat moisturizing, so even for someone like me who often experiences pilling, it was easy to apply. Rich Texture The rich texture that's typical of sunscreens... This one has quite a rich feel. While it's moisturizing, the richness is no joke... Those looking for a matte finish might want to consider this aspect. Application It spreads a bit thickly, so you need to really work it into the skin with your hands to ensure thorough application. This is my first time writing a review as part of The Hwahae Testers, and I think this product is quite good. It's not a white sunscreen, but has a slightly peachy tone that looks natural, so I recommend it as a daily item!
