  Pros

  If it feels too dry, you can mix it with a hydrating base. I really love how it brightens the complexion effectively. These days, most brightening moisturizers with SPF are hydrating, but it's often an oily kind of moisture, and the color just evens the skin tone a bit rather than acting as a true brightening base. This one, however, really works as a brightening base. Recommended for combination dehydrated skin and oily skin types. It doesn't dry down completely matte. If you apply this after your skincare routine, you'll still see a bit of that skincare glow coming through, which is nice. I thought it might settle into the creases around the nose, but surprisingly, there's no creasing at all when applied.

  Cons

  The color only comes in purple. I wish they'd offer it in other shades like blue, green, or pink.

  A long-lasting, waterproof sunscreen that stays put ESPOIR / Water Splash Sun Cream Tone-Up Lasting I was curious about ESPOIR's tone-up products since I hadn't tried them before :) They say the color is "baby lavender" As someone with a lot of redness, I often find that products with strong purple tones don't suit me well, making my skin look too white. However, this product seems less intense~ It brightens up my complexion nicely :)

  There's nothing particularly disappointing, but those who aren't used to tone-up products might find it a bit too brightening

What's more, its clear baby lavender tone naturally neutralizes both yellow and red undertones, effectively evening out the complexion. It brightens the skin beautifully, making it perfect as a primer alternative.

  As someone with oily skin, I prefer matte sunscreens, and I loved how this one left my skin feeling fresh and dry! The absorbs well, so there's no pilling, and it spreads thinly and evenly with just my fingers, making it super easy to apply. The brightening effect was natural too! It was especially great for evening out my complexion on my neck. If it were a bit cheaper, I'd absolutely use it as a body sunscreen too!

  I can't think of any downsides! Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with everything about it. Espoir is amazing!

  The brightening moisturizer works really well, and since I have super sensitive skin, I prefer mineral sunscreens.

  Cons

  I chose a mineral sunscreen because of my sensitive skin, but when I apply just this, my skin feels itchy and tingly. Even though I was satisfied with how it evens skin tone and kept using it, when I use this alone, it feels like spiders are crawling on my face. It's so frustrating! Dead skin cells also appear, and I was shocked to see flaking between my eyebrows, even though my T-zone is oily. If I manage to apply it well after intense skincare to combat the thick texture, it becomes patchy over time. I'm so disappointed, it feels like I wasted my money, and I just want to give it away.

  The lavender-colored packaging is pretty and aesthetically pleasing, making me reach for it often. The scent is nearly fragrance-free, which should be great for those with sensitive noses. The texture applies smoothly and moisturizes without feeling sticky, absorbing quickly into the skin! It finishes with a lightweight, hydrating feel that shouldn't feel heavy even in summer. What I especially loved was the 'natural brightening effect'! Instead of leaving a white cast, it makes your skin look clearer and more vibrant, giving you confidence even with a bare face. The high SPF makes it perfect for daily use.

  It finishes with a very slight powdery feel after a while, which is perfect for me! However, if you have dry skin, you might want to layer on a bit more moisturizer underneath.

  I have combination dehydrated skin with pores being my biggest concern! I've tried various sunscreens without settling on one, but this product suits me best! I was looking for a sunscreen that wasn't greasy, didn't leave a white cast, and naturally evened my skin tone - this one fits the bill perfectly. As expected, Espoir's complexion products are truly divine. The Hwahae Testers would approve!
