Compared to other sunscreens, it's not overly drying despite its good application.
ConsThe tone-up sunscreen has a certain thickness, but it's not extremely drying. It has a moderate degree of whitening, which can be both an advantage and a disadvantage, as it makes the face appear very pale.

The product color is purple, but when applied, it catches the yellow undertone of the skin, resulting in a bright and pale tone-up. I have sensitive skin and have tried almost all mineral sunscreens, but the skin tone after using this product is so pretty. The tone-up effect feels more like a cool-toned (?) texture than a warm spring tone, and it seems to fit the current trend well. Lasting power The adhesion was really good. Even as time passes and there is a little friction, when checked, the tone-up maintenance is well-maintained. Since the texture is visually confirmable, the sunscreen's own lasting power will also be good, and I was reassured that the original function of UV protection will also be well-maintained. Makeup-free So due to the tone-up effect and lasting power, this is a good product for those who only do tone correction when doing skin makeup. Ingredient composition (freckle prevention) I had previously seen a dermatologist's YouTube video saying that the ingredients titanium dioxide and iron oxide in sunscreen are effective in preventing freckles caused by UV rays. So I had been consciously trying to use sunscreens with these ingredients, and this product has all of them, so I was satisfied. [tmi: So the YouTube video said that applying sunscreen and then doing makeup is surprisingly good for freckle prevention - because of the iron oxide in the cosmetic base] * Similar feeling product I felt that the usage experience was similar to the <Innisfree No-Sebum Tone-Up Sun Screen> I used before. Looking at the ingredients, it seems similar in that it uses not only zinc but also titanium as a mineral blocking ingredient, and it also contains iron oxide. The difference will likely vary depending on your tone-up preference. For those who want a purple-tinted, whitening tone-up (cool-toned feeling), I recommend the Espoir product, and for those who want a pink-tinted, brightening tone-up (warm spring feeling), I recommend the Innisfree product.
ConsTone-up is another term for whitening, so^^ those who dislike heavy whitening in sunscreens may not find this product suitable. The following are related product characteristics, so please consider and use it according to your personal preference. Dryness & Flaking While the tone-up and sunscreen have good lasting power, the adhesion is so strong that the face seems to be absorbing the oil, and the skin tends to become dry about 4 hours later. It may be more suitable for the more humid summer than winter. Due to the iron oxide ingredient, there is some flaking. The flaking occurs in two cases: first, when the application is slightly excessive, and second, when it becomes dry over time. For dry or combination skin, you should have a solid skincare routine before using this product for the best skin expression. Makeup Compatibility I thought it would be inconvenient to use this product with other base makeup due to the flaking issue. And since the product already contains iron oxide, adding more base makeup would make the skin expression look a bit thicker. Therefore, as I prefer makeup-free skin, this product was extremely satisfactory for me, but there may be some likes and dislikes for other people's preferences, so I only filled in 4 stars.
TipBefore use, thoroughly moisturize and pay attention to dosage adjustment.

I had previously used and been satisfied with the Espoir Water Splash Sunscreen, so I applied for the event and tried it out. I had also written a Hwahae review for the previous product I used. I'm not sure if the usability is significantly different from the product I used before, but it still applies quite moisturizing and lightweight. (It's more moisturizing than typical sunscreens, but of course drier than a moisturizer.) The fact that it applies quite moisturizing seems to be the biggest advantage of this product. The packaging is also decent, with a clean and well-controlled dispenser.
ConsHmm... the color may be polarizing. I also tried using green and purple-based tones in my youth, and thought they might work well. But as I've aged, my skin tone seems to have changed. I have a somewhat sallow complexion now, so when I apply it, it doesn't give a radiant, glowing effect, but rather a muted, dull look. It could be that I'm just not skilled enough at applying it, and it might end up looking chalky and lifeless if I'm not careful. Based on my past experience, I think this color would work better for those with a healthy flush to their skin. The muted tone might benefit from layering with additional color or using a blush. Wearing it alone may be tricky for my skin tone. (Embarrassingly, I'll share a photo of how it looks after just my base makeup is applied.) Also, while it applies lightly, I do notice some oiliness, so I'll need to be diligent with cleansing. (The cleansing issue is not just for this product, but for sunscreens as well).
Tipthe usage period was not very long, so i did not find any separate tips, and i will have to think about how to use it well in the coming spring~~~

The skin tone brightens without any yellowish tint, which is great. The formula is on the thinner side, so after application, it feels light and spreads well, so you only need about half the amount compared to other sunscreens. While the difference is subtle, if you apply it right before makeup, it results in a smoother complexion compared to other sunscreens!
ConsConsidering the whitish cast, it's better to apply it and let it sit for about 3 hours for a natural tone-up effect. The tone-up function means it doesn't get absorbed quickly.

It seems great for use in the summer as it's waterproof! โ๏ธTexture: It finishes with a powdery, soft-focus effect. Repurchase Intent ๐ค๐ค๐ค
ConsThe color on my face looks too mismatched, with a yellowish tint... It feels like I just applied a whitening sunscreen, not a tone-up product. The dry skin type may feel a bit too drying to use in the winter. Flaky skin is quite visible.
TipUsing it mixed a bit with the (Cellusion*) sunscreen I used before, it provides just the right amount of tone-up and moisturization!๐ง

Due to the dry weather in the morning, I applied a generous amount of skincare and used it as the final step. It's great for pore care, natural glow, and as a foundation base. It covers blemishes well, so I didn't need to apply foundation after using this.
ConsFor me, who has a cool skin tone, there was a whitening effect, and it seemed like I had applied too much, like putting on sunscreen. On the second day, I only applied about half a fingertip's worth, and the whitening effect was less, but it lacked a natural look and felt unnatural, which was disappointing. As it is waterproof, the need for a thorough double cleansing routine to remove it is a downside.
TipThis product can naturally replace the base with just a small amount. When using it for the first time, it's good to use only a small amount.

I don't usually wear a lot of makeup, so I've tried various tone-up sunscreams, and the tone-up function of this product is definitely better than other products.๐ It's not very noticeable in the photo, but if you look closely at the dark circles, you can see a difference in tone between the side I applied it and the side I didn't. It doesn't have a covering effect for blemishes, but it brightens the skin tone by one level, so the tone correction works well. The color is purple, so it would be good for those with redness. โ Application It's not completely thick, but the cream formula maintains its shape when applied to the back of the hand, without changing its texture. The sunscreen is called 'Water Splash', so I expected a very watery, moist feeling, but it seems to be more about addressing inner dryness rather than a surface-level moisture. Since I have dry skin, I usually prefer a very dewy base, but this didn't feel overly matte or drying when applied, and there was no pilling or slipping when I applied foundation on top. โ Lasting Power The formula is quite substantial, but it's not an overly oily sunscreen that just sits on top. Once applied, it adheres well to the skin. Even after a long time, there was no excessive oil buildup or a feeling of it wearing off.
ConsI also applied it by hand at first like other sunscreens, but there was a slight whitening effect and a feeling of unevenness, perhaps because of its excellent tone-up function. It's difficult to apply it evenly, so I have to use a small amount.
Tipโฃ๏ธHow to Apply Makeup Beautifullyโฃ๏ธ First, you need to make the base, whether it's dry skin or oily skin, very โจmoisturizedโจ. Then, apply a small amount to the face first and use a damp puff to gently pat and spread it out, which will not only correct the skin tone but also make the application look beautiful and seamless ๐ In my case, when I applied foundation after using this, it looked one tone brighter compared to when I just used sunscreen, and I really liked the result. Even for dry skin, if you build a strong base, you can apply makeup beautifully โค๏ธ
