Instead, it felt soft and velvety, like I'd dusted on powder. The purple tint helps neutralize any yellow undertones, leaving my complexion bright and radiant.
ConsIf you apply it too thickly before makeup, you might experience a bit of pilling.
TipWhen applied lightly before makeup, it works great for evening out your skin tone.

After application, there's no dryness or tightness. It doesn't cause any blemishes or irritate sensitive areas, so I highly recommend it if you're looking for a brightening moisturizer.
ConsIf you fail to control the amount, your face can look ghostly white, and it tends to pill slightly when applying sunscreen afterwards.

What I loved: โข It can help balance out the complexion for those who feel their skin looks a bit yellow โข From my experience, it doesn't seem to break down easily throughout the day โข When applied thinly, it can double as a no-makeup makeup look
ConsTo be honest, I found more downsides than upsides with this product. โข While it felt moisturizing and spread easily on the back of my hand, it tended to pill when applied to my face โข Despite being called a 'water' product, I noticed some flakiness after application โข As it's a brightening sunscreen, even a slight over-application can make you look too pale โข Unlike some products, it didn't seem to absorb better or adjust to my skin the more I worked it in (I'd recommend using a puff rather than your hands) My skin wasn't in great condition the week I used this, but I still felt quite dry after some time had passed. I'd recommend this sunscreen on its own for those with already good skin! Or if you find it bothersome to apply makeup base and sunscreen separately, you could use this after your skincare routine. Personally, I'd suggest using this before makeup rather than on its own.
TipI recommend squeezing some product onto the back of your hand or a palette first, then applying it with a spatula or puff

I loved how the color effectively neutralizes yellow undertones. However, it has some staying power, so it's better to apply with a puff rather than your hands (it tends to set quickly as you're applying). Be cautious if you have dry skin, as there might be some pilling!
ConsWhen applied with fingers, it doesn't absorb well and tends to pill.
TipTry using tools like a puff instead of your hands for application.

Staying Power: Definitely lasts longer and gives a brighter complexion when used with a brightening moisturizer compared to just using a slightly lighter foundation. Blemish Check: As someone with blemish-prone skin, I'm cautious when choosing sunscreens. Thanks to its good ingredients, it didn't cause any breakouts or skin discomfort. Skin Appearance: Rather than feeling like it's absorbing into my skin like a hydrating cream or serum, it feels like it's adding a layer on top of my skin. The scent is typical of regular sunscreens. Oil control is moderate, similar to standard sunscreens. The texture is thick and paint-like. No coverage, but it evens out skin tone well. Might be great for those with already good skin. It has a pore-priming effect, making pores appear smaller. It gave my skin a smoother look. As someone with combination-oily skin, I didn't feel dry even when applying it in winter. Photos: First photo shows it applied only to the back of my hand (shade 23-24) Second photo shows how it breaks down on areas with more hair and oil Third is just a photo of it applied to my cheek
ConsThe absorption isn't great, so it's heavily influenced by your skin condition. It pills on areas with a lot of hair or dead skin cells, and if you apply thick makeup, it all pills... ugh. When it breaks down, it tends to clump and slide off in areas with more hair and thick makeup. So it's not an easy sunscreen to apply carelessly. Honestly, while we tend to apply a lot of sunscreen in summer, you absolutely can't apply this one thickly or layer it. You just have to apply it thinly! Don't rub it in, you need to pat it on. That's how you avoid pilling. Applying with a puff gives a more natural finish than using your hands. It might be difficult to use for skin with severe blemishes (doesn't give a nice skin appearance...). It was okay on areas where my skin was good.
