· The T-zone area is strong and oily, so the previous Water Splash (white container) was disappointing as the oil came up as soon as it was applied. However, this Water Splash Tone-Up Lasting product has a nice, powdery finish, which I liked. · Before applying makeup, I always use a tone-up sun cream first, and then apply foundation or cushion. This helps reduce darkening and makes the makeup last longer. The first impression was "Wow, it's really purple..?" I thought it would be a pinkish-purple, but in reality it's a vivid purple with a yellow undertone. When applied on the face, it's a bit on the drier side. For my extremely dry skin, I need to have a very hydrating base in order to wear it. My skin is combination-type with oily tendencies, sensitive, and has many scars. My pores on the T-zone are also wide.
