The Hwahae tone-up sun cream I used to use was discontinued, and I've been looking for a replacement. But Espoir has made a perfect alternative!! It has good spreadability and adhesion, and most importantly, the tone-up effect is amazing, so I just wear this without applying foundation!! I tried the Hwahae Trial Reviewers for about ten days from January 22, 2025. Even though I have sensitive skin, I didn't experience any breakouts. The texture is of medium viscosity, not too runny or too thick. As soon as I applied it, it provided a tone-up effect. I used about 500 won's worth, and it immediately brightened my complexion. I used it without any worries because the ingredients are so good! I used it because I needed tone-up, and it seems to be good to use in the summer as it provides tone-up and UV protection - it's a two-in-one! I'm really glad that I didn't have any troubles or breakouts after using this. I usually use a purple-toned base, and the color seems fine as well!

I don't think I'll actually purchase it. The texture is too matte for my dry skin, so I had to add an extra step to my skincare routine to be more thorough. Otherwise, the area around my nose and forehead would get really flaky, like peeling skin. I think it would work well for oily skin types. And you really have to be careful with the amount you use. When I first tried applying it like my usual sunscreen, it didn't absorb properly and went on unevenly. So the next day I used less, but it was still uneven.

My skin is combination-type with oily tendencies, sensitive, and has many scars. My pores on the T-zone are also wide.
