★The Hwahae Testers Review★ 1. Product Description - A hydration bomb recipe full of moisture and nourishment Dual-functional for brightening and anti-wrinkle 70ml, includes spatula 2. Application As someone with oily but dehydrated skin, a 'face oil + cream' combination is essential for me. For the Hwahae Testers review, I tried applying just the cream without face oil, and the application is very smooth. I dislike thick textures, but this felt like applying hand cream - very pleasant. 3. Absorption Perhaps because it's not a thick type, it absorbs well. It seemed to absorb quickly even without patting it in. 4. Brightening and Anti-wrinkle Functions The product contains 'niacinamide and adenosine', which are said to have brightening and anti-wrinkle properties respectively. 5. No Harmful Ingredients According to the Hwahae app, there are no dangerous ingredients. As I have sensitive skin, I always check ingredients before choosing products, and I'm pleased with this. 1. Moisturizing Power It's not sufficient as a moisturizing cream. My combination dehydrated skin feels too dry... It absorbs so well that it feels like my skin dries out quickly. ☞ So, I'd recommend this for dry or oily skin types who want to manage both brightening and anti-wrinkle concerns simultaneously. 2. Tingling & Burning Sensation + Itching, Blemishes ...I'm not the only one experiencing this, based on other reviews. I wondered why this happens despite the good ingredients, and after some research, I think it might be due to the 'niacinamide' (just a guess). I'll write more about the information I found in the tips section below. ☞ Niacinamide content above 2% can help with brightening, but pregnant women should be cautious. The percentage of niacinamide in this product isn't specified. If it could have adverse effects, it would be nice to have a clear warning on the packaging. (In bold, easily noticeable text.) I personally think these small details create a positive image for cosmetic brands and their products. + It was fine for the first few days, but 2-3 days ago, my left cheek started itching and I seem to be getting small bumps all over my face. Those with sensitive skin might want to avoid this... The ingredients are good, but it seems my skin just doesn't agree with this product... It's a shame, as this functional product is something I'd like to use long-term if it suited my skin. ★Niacinamide ☞ 1. Refers to water-soluble vitamin B3, which exists in two forms: niacin and its derivative, niacinamide. It's used as a food additive, and in cosmetics and pharmaceuticals for acne improvement, skin hydration, anti-aging, and treating rosacea. 2. In cosmetics, it's used from 0.001% to 5%, with 2% or more qualifying for brightening certification, up to a maximum of 5%. 3. The brightening principle of niacinamide is to inhibit the movement of produced pigments to the skin surface, essentially preventing melanin transfer to maintain clear skin. (Simply put, when our skin produces melanin cells, they typically transfer to the outermost layer. Niacinamide works by reducing this melanin transfer, thus inhibiting increased pigmentation on the skin surface) 4. It's also effective for hydration by increasing ceramides that prevent skin loss, and has anti-inflammatory effects good for acne. It also promotes collagen secretion for improved elasticity, and stimulates microcirculation, increasing blood flow, which is why it's used in anti-hair loss shampoos. ☞ However, pregnant or nursing mothers should avoid it. Niacinamide has a small molecular weight, so it can be transferred to the fetus quickly and in large amounts. ☞ While sunscreen blocks UV rays that produce melanin, brightening cosmetics inhibit the pigmentation of already produced melanin. They don't actually break down existing melanin to whiten the skin, as commonly thought. Professor Kim Eun-gi of Inha University's Department of Biological Engineering and Chemistry says, 'Developing a substance that selectively destroys only the polymer melanin is realistically difficult,' 'Brightening effects can be achieved by removing skin cells with melanin and regenerating new skin cells.' Therefore, sunscreen that blocks UV rays at the earliest stage is most effective. ☞ When using high-concentration niacinamide products, you may feel a warming sensation. This can be due to niacinamide's blood vessel dilating effect, or possibly due to residual niacin from the synthesis process. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 31, 2018
‼️The Hwahae Testers review‼️ Looking at the ingredients, there are no harmful substances, and it feels gentle when applying! I have combination dehydrated skin, and I think this is a light moisturizer that would be better for summer rather than the changing seasons like now. Not only does it provide hydration, but it also has anti-wrinkle and brightening functions. Update 180425: After using This Is Real pad to cleanse my face once, I've been applying this cream generously for a month... My skin has improved so much! Since I tend to have oily skin, applying it generously doesn't make my skin feel dry. The tingling sensation has also gradually disappeared... The amount is surprisingly generous, so it lasts a long time. My skin's appearance has improved! I'm not sure if it's the brightening function that's causing issues... It stings a lot when applied to areas with blemishes. And it's like, how should I put it, it feels like it's waking up dormant blemishes under the skin? I'm not sure if using it long-term would be beneficial by bringing all the blemishes to the surface, but with short-term use, it just feels like a moisturizer that makes blemishes appear. I'll write another review after finishing the whole container. Also, it's drying. If I apply it once before bed, my skin feels dry. I need to apply it at least twice before going to sleep... - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinMar 30, 2018
- Light cream texture - Immediately improves skin texture and deep dryness. My skin felt bumpy to the touch even though it looked fine, but this cream smoothed it out. Interestingly, they didn't advertise this benefit, but it's the most effective aspect (which is both funny and sad). It also seems to have slightly reduced neck wrinkles. - Contains natural and fermented ingredients. As expected, there's a slight tingling... Wrinkle-improving ingredients often cause this sensation, so it might not suit everyone. However, this is characteristic of all products with these functions, so it's debatable whether it's a drawback. (If this were considered a flaw, many brands would have to close shop!) I continued using it and after adapting, I no longer feel the tingling or warmth. I'm satisfied with the effects mentioned above. Once fully absorbed, it leaves your skin feeling powdery soft. - The scent is pleasant and natural. If I had to compare it to something, it's like a cool, herbal scent similar to cucumber or aloe. Regarding the brightening function, I'm not sure... Sigh, I had high hopes for this... Maybe the effects will show with continued use? - Despite being lightweight, it still has a rich feel... As someone with oily skin, I don't need the extra richness. On the bright side, it seems to work well under makeup, but those looking to end their skincare routine with this might be a bit disappointed. To get rid of the rich feeling, you can't just rub it in - you have to wait for it to naturally absorb, which takes about an hour. Slow absorption. - If you're sensitive to natural or fermented ingredients, it's best to avoid this. It may cause a tingling sensation. - Works better when applied to damp skin - Can be used as a night pack or makeup base
