This moisturizer strikes a nice balance between hydration and oil content. Personally, I'm not a fan of creams that leave a coated feeling, and this one doesn't do that at all. Even though I have oily skin, it doesn't overload on moisture but provides a slight richness, making it sufficient to use alone during the day. The hydration and rich feel don't last very long. It feels fine right after application, but a few hours later, my skin feels even drier. I wish the moisturizing effect would last longer - that's the main drawback of this product. I'm not one to slather on skincare products, but this one can be applied generously without pilling, and it maintains that hydrated feeling a bit longer. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 24, 2018
The hydration level was just right, leaving my skin feeling moisturized when applied. There was hardly any oily residue, making it perfect for lightweight use! It was gentle on my skin and didn't cause any blemishes. While it felt hydrating when applied, the dry weather caused the moisture to evaporate quickly, leading to some skin tightness. Since it's a product without much oil content, this was somewhat expected. This product seems perfect for summer use! It's high in hydration but low in oil content, so I'd recommend it for those with oily skin. For combination dehydrated or dry skin types, I'd suggest using it in summer. I've previously used Mamonde's Ceramide Light Moisture Cream and I'm currently using Acwell's moisturizer. All three have similar hydration levels, but in terms of richness, it goes Mamonde > Acwell > Chayote. I think Mamonde is suitable for winter, Acwell for spring and fall, and Chayote for summer.
