I personally find that it absorbs well and has a nice texture. The scent is also fairly pleasant. I notice a slight tingling sensation that comes and goes. This is just my subjective experience though. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinMay 1, 2018
There's nothing good to say... Just try it for yourself... It only helps on the surface... It causes blemishes. Only those with steel-like skin should use this.. None - lc*****Oily SkinAcne SkinApr 9, 2018Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It was really great for my combination dehydrated oily skin! I used to maintain my skincare routine with 5 layers of toner, aloe gel, and emulsion. But when I replaced the emulsion with this cream after the aloe gel, it felt much less rich while still providing hydration. 2. I'm impressed by the ingredients... I was surprised by how clean the ingredient list is! Because the ingredients are so good, I've been using it daily with peace of mind. It seems many people experienced the tingling sensation! I also felt a slight burning sensation and tingling when my skin was super sensitive or on days when I had extracted acne. So far, I haven't had any special side effects, so I intend to continue using it. I think it would be great for those with oily skin to use lightly during summer! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 6, 2018Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

When I first received the cream and tested it on my hand, I was immediately impressed by how it absorbs well, leaving my skin feeling hydrated without any stickiness, and finishing with a soft, matte feel. When I applied it to my face, I was pleased that it didn't cause any blemishes, especially since I have sensitive, combination skin. Unlike my previous creams that often left my skin oily, this one noticeably reduced excess oil while still providing hydration. I was amazed that it didn't cause any pilling when used as a base before makeup, allowing my foundation to apply smoothly. Although I got to try this through The Hwahae Testers program, I'm genuinely enjoying it more than I expected and will continue using it. As for downsides, I can't think of any yet, which is why I've only shared all the positives in detail. - su**********Normal SkinApr 5, 2018Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Here's my honest review. At first, it feels thick like most creams, but once applied, it feels refreshing. After about 3 minutes, I'm amazed at how lightweight this cream can be. Initially, the hydration felt great, but the moisturizing effect doesn't seem to last very long. I'd recommend this more for summer than winter. I was surprised at how lightweight a cream could be. I think it would work really well if you mix in a drop or two of facial oil. - hp*******Oily SkinAcne SkinApr 5, 2018Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I have combination dehydrated skin prone to blemishes and sensitivity to heat, so I rarely use products with rich oils. As we all know, the effectiveness of creams can vary greatly depending on skin type, so those with oily skin, please take note! ✅Texture: A pale gel that's somewhere between a gel and a cream... ✅Packaging: Comes with a spatula, of course. Great for hygiene! ✅Scent: It smells like the raw ingredients of a cream, as if they've only neutralized the scent without adding any fragrance. It has a natural, rubber-like scent, which didn't bother me much. I actually prefer this, as strongly scented creams tend to trigger my blemishes. ✅Absorption: Despite its silicone-like texture, it absorbs surprisingly well. It sinks in within 2 minutes, leaving the skin feeling slightly moisturized without any residue. ✅Effectiveness: Those of us who deal with acne know we shouldn't expect dramatic results from a moisturizer. This is just one step in your hydration routine, and it's unrealistic to expect it to cure acne. However, it does its job of providing hydration well. After cleansing, it left my skin feeling adequately moisturized without any tightness or leftover residue. As is often the case with oily skin, I always enjoy the cooling effect when a moisturizer touches my skin, seemingly drawing out excess sebum and heat (naturally, since the cream is cooler than my body temperature). I tend to apply moisturizers generously, but this product had almost no cooling effect. It quickly warmed up to my skin temperature, feeling like a stuffy oil film until it was fully absorbed. Only after absorption did my skin regain that hydrated, fresh feeling. This might vary based on personal preference, but if you prioritize a cooling effect in your moisturizer, you might want to consider this. Additionally, I noticed something after sleeping without lip balm last night. The area around my lips felt slightly tingly and stiff, almost like an allergic reaction. It turns out it wasn't my lip balm, but this cream causing the issue. For me, it only affected my lip area and T-zone, but for others with more sensitive skin, it could potentially affect the entire face. I'm not sure if it's due to the glycerin or chayote extract, but there seems to be an ingredient that doesn't agree with oily skin types. When applying to your face, try to massage it in with your fingers to speed up absorption. If you have a skincare fridge, I highly recommend storing this product in it. It makes a big difference. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinApr 5, 2018
I've left a review for the toner from the same line, and I'm equally satisfied with the cream. After using it for about a month, I think it would suit oily to normal skin types best. As someone with normal skin that's prone to blemishes if the oil and moisture balance is even slightly off, I found this cream to be surprisingly effective. It doesn't feel particularly special or exciting, but it really nails the oil and moisture balance. I'm using it together with the toner and it's working great for me. Hmm... I think those with dry or very dry skin might find this cream a bit lacking in hydration. I personally dislike products that are too rich, so I prefer using lighter formulas with more hydration and mixing in a drop or two of facial oil to customize it for my needs. I'm planning to mix this with some face oil during fall and winter. - oo****Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 5, 2018Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I have combination dehydrated skin and my skin is somewhat sensitive. I've been using this for about two weeks, applying it every morning and evening. The feeling when applying is moisturizing with low oil content. The hydration lasts quite long. Compared to other creams, I felt that my makeup adhered better when I used this cream. One slight drawback was a tingling sensation for a short while after application. However, it didn't happen every day, and today when I applied it, I felt nothing. Still, those with super sensitive skin might want to take this into consideration. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 5, 2018Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

While it feels slightly oily at first, it absorbs better than expected. You can still feel a light layer on your skin, but it's not overwhelming. It works well with mineral sunscreen and doesn't pill or feel too sticky even in hot weather, which is great. Fortunately, I didn't experience any major blemishes, but I did notice some redness. While it wasn't solely due to this product, it definitely contributed. This could vary depending on individual skin types and conditions, so I'd recommend testing it yourself. Adding an update as the seasons change: While it was great for summer use, as the weather turned colder and drier, it couldn't quite handle the flaky dead skin cells or the tight, dry feeling. This product seems to be weather-dependent. I'd recommend it for hot, sweaty summer days. Now, I only use it before bed, not for going out. One more thing! When used with mineral sunscreen, it tends to pill and separate. It seems to mix well with richer creams, adhering nicely even when applied after them. But with this cream, if you apply sunscreen over it, they don't blend well, making it a bit tricky to get good skin adhesion. - jz**********Oily SkinApr 4, 2018Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Texture/Application Being a hydrating cream, it's quite lightweight. The bouncy texture makes it enjoyable to apply on the skin. The cream glides on gently without irritation. It's so gentle that I even applied it to my neck throughout the testing period. Moreover, it spreads thinly, allowing for easy reapplication without feeling heavy. 2. Hydration As expected from a hydrating cream, it provides ample moisture. You can feel an instant boost of hydration as it absorbs into the skin. 3. Ingredients As shown in Hwahae's ingredient analysis, the absence of harmful ingredients is perhaps its biggest advantage. Overall, it's a pretty decent hydrating cream with minimal chemical irritation from its ingredients and minimal physical irritation from its application. 1. Adjustment period needed During the initial days of testing, I almost stopped using it due to some irritation. However, after about four days, my skin adapted and I was able to use the product comfortably. Those with sensitive skin should carefully check the ingredients. 2. Recommended for summer use on dehydrated oily skin My skin tends to be dehydrated. Using this product during the somewhat dry transitional season, I experienced some deep dryness. As the weather got warmer, the feeling of dryness decreased, but I still felt the need to reapply at night. It might work well on its own in summer. However, for other seasons, it's advisable to either boost your skincare routine with more hydrating products before this one, or layer a richer cream on top for added moisture.
