This is a review from The Hwahae Testers! My skin type: combination dehydrated, super sensitive skin. The texture is balm-like (similar to Vaseline). It applies smoothly and melts with body heat, absorbing well and feeling like it's locking everything in. Not sticky at all! The scent wasn't bothersome. Moisturizing power: When applied as the final step in my evening skincare routine, my skin wasn't dry in the morning. It works great on dry areas like heels and elbows too! Perfect for the dry transitional weather. The ingredients are good - I didn't experience any blemishes, which is fantastic! Those with oily skin might wake up to an oil slick if they use this alone at night. Not recommended for very oily skin types. Even for combination dehydrated skin, it's not suitable for morning use. When I applied it in the morning, my skin produced more oil than usual (it became quite shiny). It also made my makeup look a bit patchy! I think it's best used as part of your evening skincare routine. Apply your hydrating skincare products first, then use a small amount of this cream at the end to lock in the moisture. I don't recommend using it in the morning for oily or combination dehydrated skin types. - Hwahae UserDry SkinOct 17, 2022
It feels gentler than other night products, which is great, and the lack of a specific scent is reassuring. The best part is how it keeps dry skin hydrated for a long time, and it's not too sticky, which is a plus. Although the volume is small and it's a bit pricey, you only need to apply a little, so it should last a while. For those with sensitive, dry skin, this could become a must-have item from the changing seasons onwards. I think it would be better if it came in stick form. I understand that jar packaging isn't the most hygienic option. If it were in stick form, it would adhere better to the face due to body heat while applying, and you wouldn't have to touch the product directly with your hands, making it more reassuring and potentially longer-lasting. In the morning, scoop out a small amount, warm it between your palms, and apply it all over your face. It gives a beautiful glow and long-lasting hydration! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 17, 2022
I used about a dime-sized amount, rubbed it between my palms to melt it, then pressed it onto my face. Despite being a night cream, it melted incredibly smoothly, feeling more like an oil. I applied it after my emulsion to lock in moisture, and it wasn't heavy or sticky at all. During seasonal changes, my fingertips often crack like eczema, but thanks to this, the cracking has disappeared! While it might be pricey to use on the body, I'm satisfied just knowing it helped my hands that used to crack and split to the point of bleeding. After using it for about two weeks, I'm not sure if it's effective for blemishes on the face. I hope to update this part after using it a bit longer. Also, while it's not sticky, using it before makeup noticeably reduces the longevity of foundation. It has an incredible effect on areas that crack and chap, like around the lips and elbows! Just use a dime-sized amount, rub it between your hands to melt it, then gently press it onto problem areas. It absorbs quickly! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 17, 2022
Design: The red container really stands out on my vanity! It's easy to spot, which I love. Scent: I'm sensitive to fragrances and even mild scents can give me headaches, so I'm thrilled this is unscented! Texture: It's similar to products like Vaseline or Popo Cream. It's soft and melts nicely with body heat, absorbing without any stickiness. How well it absorbs might vary from person to person, so be sure to adjust the amount you use! Hydration and richness: As someone with combination dehydrated skin that leans oily, I was worried it might be too greasy, but it exceeded my expectations! When I apply it to areas needing moisture before bed, the hydration lasts until the next day! Those with oily skin might find it a bit rich, so controlling the amount is key. This product is great for use without worrying about blemishes! I wish they'd release a larger size... haha. If you have oily skin, it's absolutely essential to control how much you use!!! I mix a small amount with my body emulsion after showering, and it makes the emulsion's moisturizing effect and scent last much longer! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 16, 2022
Hydration: The moisturizing power is truly exceptional! The texture is similar to Vaseline, applying smoothly and keeping your skin hydrated until the next day! This would be perfect for those with dry skin. Fragrance: It's fragrance-free! Highly recommended for those who dislike scented products. I'm not a fan of sticky cosmetics, but despite its Vaseline-like texture, this cream doesn't feel sticky at all. It melts beautifully into the skin when applied! I was worried about potential blemishes, but fortunately, I didn't experience any breakouts! You really need to be careful with the amount you use. The first time I applied it without knowing, my face became extremely slippery and turned into an oil slick! Apply just a small amount to avoid excessive greasiness. While it's great for dry skin types, I wouldn't recommend it for those with oily skin. It doesn't absorb immediately into the skin. So when applying makeup, use an extremely small amount. I prefer to apply it before bed! When applied in moderation before sleeping, I found it absorbed well by morning. It also works great as a lip balm. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinOct 14, 2022
Surprisingly, it wasn't sticky at all and applied smoothly, which I really liked. The texture spreads easily, gliding on the skin. Being 100% horse oil cream, it felt completely different from regular creams. It's closer to an oil than a cream in texture. It moisturizes well and seems to absorb quickly too. You can hardly smell it unless you put your nose right up to it. With my oily, acne-prone skin, I was worried about using it from the start, and sure enough, it was too greasy for my skin. A few days after applying it, I developed blemishes. I'm still hesitant to use it regularly. It might be better suited for winter use or for those with dry skin. I applied it in the order of toner, cream, and then horse oil cream. Rather than using it alone, mixing it with another cream might make it less overwhelming for the skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinOct 12, 2022
• Hydration, texture, and scent: The texture is incredibly smooth when applied. Whether mixed with cream or used alone, it's not sticky at all. This is a major advantage. Despite its excellent moisture retention, it doesn't feel heavy on the skin. When used alone, it does give a slight sheen as it's an oil. The scent is almost non-existent, which is great! • No blemishes: I've been using it for 5 days straight - in the morning on dry areas after applying cream, and in the evening all over my face after cream application. I haven't experienced any blemishes at all. It's also excellent at combating dryness. • Will repurchase! If it maintains the same effectiveness after a month of use, I'd love to keep using it. When I apply it generously on my lips and around my eyes before bed, my skin stays hydrated until morning. As it's an oil in cream form, it can leave a bit of shine here and there after application. That's somewhat unavoidable. I've been decanting it into a small cream container to carry around. I apply it to my lips and around my eyes, and it's fantastic. No need for a separate lip balm! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 23, 2022
As someone with super sensitive skin that can easily flare up with the wrong products, I've found that applying horse oil immediately calms my skin whenever it gets irritated. That's why I use it daily now. For a horse oil product, it absorbs well and isn't sticky at all. On evenings when I'm too lazy for a full skincare routine, I just apply this one product. Friends trying horse oil for the first time might find it unfamiliar. I've noticed some mixing it with their usual emulsion. Mixing it with an emulsion works well, or you can layer it under a rich cream for extra hydration. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinOct 15, 2021
When I was constantly breaking out due to wearing masks daily, applying this regularly showed a soothing effect and it absorbs smoothly without any sticky feeling. I'm confidently using it because it's a domestic product! They say it's safe for baby diaper rash too, so I'm sharing it with my little one. In summer, when wearing slippers, there's no need to buy a separate heel cream - this one's enough for everything. The only downside is the price compared to the amount you get. I use it so well that there's nothing else to complain about! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 3, 2021
I have combination dehydrated skin that occasionally gets blemishes. My close friend recommended this horse oil cream, so I decided to give it a try. When I apply it before bed, I wake up with well-hydrated and brightened skin - it's great! The cream absorbs well too. It's not sticky and has no scent, so I think most people would like it. First of all, I love the ingredients! When I buy cosmetics, I always check the ingredients on Hwahae first. My mom and I use it together, and she also says it provides excellent hydration. There's nothing particularly bad to mention. I just wish it came in a larger size. Please make a bigger version!
