First off, I have combination dehydrated skin! In fall and winter, it gets so dry it's painful - I have oily skin that's severely lacking in moisture. My skin is also super sensitive and prone to blemishes! I was really curious about this horse oil cream, so I was thrilled to be selected as a Hwahae Tester and try it out! Even a small amount helps combat dryness effectively. In autumn, my face often feels tight even after using a sheet mask, but with this horse oil cream, I felt it really locked in the moisture! Of course, since it's a balm with a rich texture, using too much can make your skin feel greasy. But if you experiment to find the right amount, I think it could be really helpful for dry skin during seasonal changes and winter. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I apply it in small amounts to avoid excess oiliness. When used in moderation, it didn't cause any new inflammatory acne! While I haven't used it for very long, I didn't experience any new breakouts on the days I did use it. I think I'd need to use it for a longer period to see if it has a calming effect on existing small bumps. It's fragrance-free! I also really liked the retro-style packaging. + After posting this review, I used it for a few more days and wow, it really works wonders on those small bumps! I've been stressed about the ones on my forehead that appeared after the season changed and wouldn't go away, but now they've completely subsided. The calming effect is amazing... It seems to work really well when applied to dry areas! Lately, my skin has been so dry that even when I use my usual lightweight skincare products and serum, my makeup sometimes looks patchy. But when I apply a thin layer of this product before makeup, my skin feels firm and the makeup goes on beautifully! While it does come with a built-in spatula, personally, I find tube packaging easier to manage, so I think it would be great if it came in a tube form as well! You can easily apply too much due to its rich texture, so it's best to start with less than you think you need, apply it to your face, and then melt it in. This helps with controlling the amount. As someone who regularly gets a couple of inflammatory acne spots, I apply acne patches to those areas and avoid applying the cream there.
