I knew horse oil cream was good, but it's perfect for my severely dry skin in winter. It's great for use anywhere - heels, elbows, and all over. I'm using it with high hopes! The texture might be a bit heavy for some, but it seems ideal for heels and elbows. Works wonders on heels - Hwahae UserDry SkinNov 28, 2022
The solid ointment texture is so effective that even a thin layer provides significant hydration. Recently, my skin has become extremely dry, with itchy areas increasing on my legs and arms. Applying this to those areas really helps reduce the itching. It seems to be an excellent product for extremely dry skin. Perhaps due to its rich oil content, when I apply this cream, it makes my eyes feel a bit heavy and blurry. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 18, 2022
Great for use as a multi-purpose balm on dry areas, chapped spots, cracked heels, nails, lips, and wrinkled areas. There's a mild unusual scent, but it's not noticeable for those who aren't sensitive. I wish it came in a stick form rather than a jar, as scooping it out can be a bit inconvenient. Apply it like a multi-purpose balm before bed, and wake up with glowing skin! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 18, 2022
➕ Instantly effective on very dry areas. My feet are usually quite dry, so I applied it to my soles, wrapped them for an hour, and they became incredibly soft. ➕ Nearly fragrance-free. Despite 'horse oil' potentially sounding off-putting, it surprisingly has no scent at all. ➕ Easy to use. Reminds me a lot of Vaseline. The container is convenient, and the product melts quickly with body heat, making it easy to spread. ➕ Prevents moisture loss. Rather than directly hydrating the skin, it excels at locking in the moisture underneath, keeping it from evaporating. ➖ Very greasy. Feels like solidified oil? This might be a love-it-or-hate-it aspect, but personally, I worried it might cause breakouts. ➖ No standout features. With so many great products available these days, I struggled to find a compelling reason to purchase this one. ➖ As mentioned earlier, this product alone can't provide hydration. You need another product to add moisture. This one just seals it in. ➖ While the packaging is functional, the design is... well, it's the company's signature, but it doesn't really inspire a desire to buy. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 18, 2022
It melts with body heat, so I spread it using the warmth of my palms. With its rich oil content, it's perfect for this season when I'm feeling dry. I also applied it to various dry areas as needed. It's so versatile! (Even more nourishing than Vaseline) After letting it absorb thoroughly before bed, my skin still felt hydrated the next morning. They say it's unscented, but for me, that distinctive greasy horse oil smell... I had to hold my nose while applying it! It's so hydrating though... I just couldn't give up on it!! After spreading an appropriate amount, I placed those famous sold-out Daiso oil blotting papers on top for 5 minutes, then removed them. It seems to absorb even more deeply this way! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 18, 2022
A perfect cream to prepare for fall and winter. At first, I thought it might feel heavy due to its thick consistency, but as it's oil-based, it melts and transforms into a smooth oil that's easy to apply. I applied it before bed, paying extra attention to my dry cheeks. My usually rough autumn cheeks became soft and supple, which I loved. Some reviews mentioned potential blemishes, but I personally didn't experience any. The scent is truly unscented. I was worried it might have a greasy or milky smell (which I personally dislike) due to the horse oil, but I was pleased that it had absolutely no scent. While it's a matter of personal preference, I really adored the cute red packaging. After application, it can become quite rich, so lying down or moving immediately after use can be a bit inconvenient as hair might stick to your face. I didn't find many drawbacks with the product itself. However, whether due to shipping issues, manufacturing processes, or perhaps overfilling, the product was stuck to the inner lid, which made application a bit tricky each time. It's best to apply this before bedtime. Make sure to tie your hair back before application. Use the warmth of your hands to melt the product, then apply it to your face. Allow it to absorb for a while before sleeping. In the morning, after washing your face, your skin will feel wonderfully soft and smooth. - Hwahae UserDry SkinOct 18, 2022
For dry, non-sensitive skin with texture concerns: This product is amazing! Just a tiny amount, about the size of your pinky nail, is enough to cover your entire face. It feels like your skin is getting a protective coating, and the next day, your skin texture feels noticeably improved. Usually, I only use such rich formulas at night because they can feel heavy, but since you only need to use a small amount, it applies very thinly and doesn't feel as heavy as you might expect. I even went out wearing it! The hydration is incredible, and it seems to be really beneficial for the skin. I can't wait for the depths of winter to use this! The scent is very subtle, almost fragrance-free, which would be great for those sensitive to fragrances. If you have bangs, they might get a bit greasy... but that's really the only downside I can think of. Personally, I found the packaging to feel a bit light - a more luxurious packaging might be nice! Use it like an overnight mask. Your skin will feel super smooth the next day! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 18, 2022
Quick review: Instant results for wrinkles caused by dryness! I applied this only in the evenings, avoiding mornings when I do my makeup, as it feels like applying oil. Following the instructions, I used a significantly smaller amount than my usual cream. Despite its thick consistency, it spreads incredibly well, giving an oil-like sensation. The most astonishing part was...! I had developed wrinkles on my forehead and around my eyes, possibly due to dryness. Despite using retinol and other anti-wrinkle products, I saw no improvement and feared it was just aging. But after using this horse oil product just a couple of times, I was amazed to see the wrinkles smoothing out! I excitedly told my mother we should use it together. Though the jar looks small, you use less than regular creams, so it should last a long time. A cute and practical feature is the stick attached to the inner lid, preventing it from getting lost or rolling around on your vanity. However, it seems everyone uses it differently. My mother immediately took the stick out (keep it inside, please!). Using this product allows you to skip many steps in your routine. It deeply hydrates and helps with wrinkles and skin barrier, so I could cut down on layering products, even though I knew they might not all absorb. This was possible because I saw results quickly. Honestly, the small jar is cute, but the product name 'Toad' and the red plastic container initially made me skeptical. But after seeing amazing results from just a couple of uses, I was reminded not to judge by appearances. This fall and winter, the Toad Horse Oil Cream might be all I need, replacing all other creams! It's too heavy for summer use. Even applying a tiny amount before makeup can be challenging. - Hwahae UserDry SkinOct 17, 2022
As the weather got colder, I felt my skin getting dry and sticky after using my usual cream. I was looking for a new one when I won this product, and I'm really satisfied with its moisturizing power and finish. The texture is more like a balm than a cream, reminiscent of Vaseline. I was worried it might be too thick, but it melts with body heat and applies smoothly like an oil, making it easy to spread. The case looks small, but when you use the included spatula to gently scoop out the product, you realize there's actually quite a lot for the amount you need to use. At night after cleansing, I apply it generously. At first, it seems a bit greasy and takes some time to absorb, but once it does, there's no dryness at all until morning. I might be imagining it, but my skin feels softer when I cleanse in the morning. When you first apply the balm and really focus on the scent, there's a slight milk-like smell. But as you spread it, the scent disappears, and it's practically fragrance-free. Since it's a rich product, you need to be careful with the amount you apply before makeup. While it worked well for me, those with sensitive skin might experience blemishes. - Hwahae UserDry SkinOct 17, 2022
After using it for two weeks, morning and night: At first, you might find the texture quite firm, but if you warm it up slightly with your body heat on the back of your hand, it applies beautifully. It's great for dry skin - it gives such a glow that you can just use this and a brightening moisturizer, and your skin looks amazing! When I apply it at night, there's no dryness at all by morning, making it a must-have for those with dry skin as the weather gets colder and your face feels tighter. (The red packaging and cream texture reminded me of that famous Australian cream - it has a similar feel to it.) Using it as a standalone product might feel a bit heavy on the face. If you don't get the amount right, it can make your skin look a bit too rich. Those with oily skin should be careful, as it might make your skin look overly shiny! Since I have a hydrating cream I've been using recently, I mix them: At night, I use a 2:1 ratio of hydrating cream to Horse Fat cream, and in the morning, a 3:1 ratio. This reduces the richness while boosting hydration, giving a lighter feel overall!
