Despite being an oil, it absorbs well and surprisingly doesn't cause any blemishes, even on my combination dehydrated skin! When the temperature is high, it becomes almost liquid-like, so you need to use it carefully. Store it in the refrigerator during summer! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinOct 1, 2023
Horse oil has similar components to sebum, so it absorbs well and is said to have anti-inflammatory effects. I bought this to try and soothe my atopic skin that was once again covered in dead skin cells. I like that it's not excessively oily and doesn't feel like it's just sitting on top of my skin :) With only one ingredient, it's clean and healthy, which I really appreciate! If it proves effective for dead skin cells, I'll leave an additional review^^ I was shocked by the price, then shocked again by the volume. But, if it works well, it could be a great value for money! Update: It helps slough off dead skin cells that need to go and calms those that should stay put. However, I personally dislike the natural scent of the ingredient... Sadly, I've decided to use it on my feet instead ㅜㅜ + It's fantastic for removing dead skin on feet! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinOct 18, 2022
I've been using this for about 10 days now. At first, I was worried it might be too greasy like Vaseline, but after applying it, I could see my skin texture becoming much smoother and more refined. During the usage period, I thought the rich formula might not mesh well with my skin, but surprisingly, it absorbs well without any issues! Of course, those with oily skin like mine might find it uncomfortable if you apply too much, as the excess richness could be overwhelming. For oily skin types, I found that applying just a small amount makes a noticeable difference in skin texture! I recommend applying this before bed. I tried it on the first night, and when I touched my skin in the morning, I was truly amazed! Also, the psoriasis around my nose caused by the changing seasons has significantly calmed down. It seems to work really well when applied to dry areas like psoriasis patches! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinOct 17, 2022
First off, I have combination dehydrated skin prone to blemishes and sensitivity. Unlike other horse oil products that feel super greasy on application, this one absorbs with a rich, dense texture - not exactly lightweight, but not overly oily either. In the morning, there's a slight oiliness, but it doesn't feel like it's clogging my pores! The spatula makes it easy to apply. I'd rate its absorption 4 out of 5. Highly recommended for those with dry skin! It doesn't seem to visibly improve blemishes, unfortunately. In fact, it might have the opposite effect for those with very oily skin... Personally, I love applying this, then spritzing on some mist before bed. I wake up with that coveted 'Inner Glow' look! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 17, 2022
Application (5/5): The texture and feel are similar to Vaseline, but I liked how it applies more lightly and smoothly than Vaseline. Absorption (4/5): For a heavy formula, it absorbs quite well. Packaging (4/5): I appreciated the included spatula for hygienic application, and it was satisfying to see how the packaging design considered cleanliness in cosmetic use. Moisturizing power (3/5): Despite being an all-in-one cream, when used alone, I felt some deep dryness as someone with dry skin. When used with other products, it provided instant hydration, but I still felt dry when waking up in the morning. When used together with a face oil, the moisturizing power doubles, allowing you to maintain hydrated skin without any deep dryness until morning. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 17, 2022
Design: The red container really stands out on my vanity! It's easy to spot, which I love. Scent: I'm sensitive to fragrances and even mild scents can give me headaches, so I'm thrilled this is unscented! Texture: It's similar to products like Vaseline or Popo Cream. It's soft and melts nicely with body heat, absorbing without any stickiness. How well it absorbs might vary from person to person, so be sure to adjust the amount you use! Hydration and richness: As someone with combination dehydrated skin that leans oily, I was worried it might be too greasy, but it exceeded my expectations! When I apply it to areas needing moisture before bed, the hydration lasts until the next day! Those with oily skin might find it a bit rich, so controlling the amount is key. This product is great for use without worrying about blemishes! I wish they'd release a larger size... haha. If you have oily skin, it's absolutely essential to control how much you use!!! I mix a small amount with my body emulsion after showering, and it makes the emulsion's moisturizing effect and scent last much longer! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 16, 2022
✍️ My skin type: Pustular acne / Oily skin Wear makeup 5+ times a week / Focus on night care ✍️ Product features: 1. Texture It's an opaque balm that feels heavy like an ointment at first, but quickly melts and absorbs into the skin. 2. Scent The scent is nearly fragrance-free. 3. Application Since it's not a runny formula, you need to spread it carefully when applying. Rolling it in circular motions with your fingertips helps it spread evenly. 4. Packaging It comes in a red container with a lid that has a cover underneath. There's also space to store the spatula. ✍️ 2-week usage review: 1. No blemishes I typically get acne on my jawline, chin, between eyebrows, and eyebrows during my menstrual cycle, which subsides after. I was worried the horse oil might clog my pores, but fortunately, I used it without any skin issues! 2. Reduced oiliness As someone with oily skin, my forehead and cheeks are always shiny. The shine is usually worst when I wake up and about 2 hours after applying makeup. After using the horse oil, thanks to its hydrating properties, my skin seemed less oily! Especially when washing my face in the morning, instead of feeling greasy, my skin felt moisturized and supple. 3. Great hydration When the weather suddenly turned cold, my heels started cracking. Despite being an expensive product, I diligently applied the horse oil to my heels every night before bed, and it worked quite well! It also did a great job keeping my face hydrated. 1. The packaging is an overwhelming red It's too intense! 2. It's expensive At over $50, it seems a bit pricey for a cream. 3. Cream gets on the spatula storage lid When closing the lid, some cream gets on it. While it's my fault for not closing it properly, it's wasteful and annoying to clean up. I wish there was a small gap between the cream and the lid. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 16, 2022
First off, I'm thrilled that it's 100% horse oil. I've tried other horse oil creams, but they weren't pure like this one. When applied to the skin, it absorbs beautifully. True to its name, it's horse oil, but surprisingly, it doesn't feel off-putting even on my acne-prone, oily skin that's genetically blessed with excess sebum production. It's fantastic! Given my skin type, I usually avoid products that are too rich or oily, but this Toad Horse Oil Cream is an exception! It doesn't cause blemishes, feels lightweight, and provides great hydration. There's not much to complain about regarding the product itself... The only minor inconvenience is that after using it, my hands become a bit slippery, making it slightly tricky to close the container. I find that the best application method is to gently melt it between your hands and let it absorb into your skin naturally. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinOct 14, 2022
Surprisingly, it wasn't sticky at all and applied smoothly, which I really liked. The texture spreads easily, gliding on the skin. Being 100% horse oil cream, it felt completely different from regular creams. It's closer to an oil than a cream in texture. It moisturizes well and seems to absorb quickly too. You can hardly smell it unless you put your nose right up to it. With my oily, acne-prone skin, I was worried about using it from the start, and sure enough, it was too greasy for my skin. A few days after applying it, I developed blemishes. I'm still hesitant to use it regularly. It might be better suited for winter use or for those with dry skin. I applied it in the order of toner, cream, and then horse oil cream. Rather than using it alone, mixing it with another cream might make it less overwhelming for the skin. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinOct 12, 2022
Instant hydration effect! I have flat warts, so I've been keeping an eye out for treatments. I was hesitant to buy this due to mixed reviews about its effectiveness and potential spreading, but I won it in an event and got a great chance to try it out. While I haven't noticed any significant changes yet, the immediate moisturizing effect is impressive. I've been applying it to my calves and other dry areas. The texture reminds me of Jung Moon's aloe cream - it absorbs well when you warm it up and massage it in. I especially appreciate that it's free from fragrances and additives. It feels a bit oily, but that's to be expected with a rich moisturizer. Using the spatula to scoop out the product is slightly inconvenient. I think it would be better if it came in a tube balm format. It's also great for applying to rough areas like heels or chapped hands.
