The solid ointment texture is so effective that even a thin layer provides significant hydration. Recently, my skin has become extremely dry, with itchy areas increasing on my legs and arms. Applying this to those areas really helps reduce the itching. It seems to be an excellent product for extremely dry skin. Perhaps due to its rich oil content, when I apply this cream, it makes my eyes feel a bit heavy and blurry. - Hwahae UserDry SkinOct 18, 2022
For dry, non-sensitive skin with texture concerns: This product is amazing! Just a tiny amount, about the size of your pinky nail, is enough to cover your entire face. It feels like your skin is getting a protective coating, and the next day, your skin texture feels noticeably improved. Usually, I only use such rich formulas at night because they can feel heavy, but since you only need to use a small amount, it applies very thinly and doesn't feel as heavy as you might expect. I even went out wearing it! The hydration is incredible, and it seems to be really beneficial for the skin. I can't wait for the depths of winter to use this! The scent is very subtle, almost fragrance-free, which would be great for those sensitive to fragrances. If you have bangs, they might get a bit greasy... but that's really the only downside I can think of. Personally, I found the packaging to feel a bit light - a more luxurious packaging might be nice! Use it like an overnight mask. Your skin will feel super smooth the next day! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 17, 2022
I have combination skin with occasional blemishes on my chin and sometimes small bumps on my cheeks. So when I received this horse oil cream, I was a bit worried. Although it passed the acne test, you never know how your own skin might react. As the weather got colder, I applied a thin layer at the end of my skincare routine, warming it up between my hands and gently patting it on my face, neck, and lips before bed. To my surprise, my skin felt hydrated until the next morning without any excess oiliness. It was less greasy than I expected, which was a pleasant surprise. The key is to warm it up well for better absorption! It turned out to be even better than I thought, and now I understand why people buy it! I'll probably repurchase it. My sister and mother tried it too, and my mother especially loved it! The downside is that it might run out quickly. You need to warm it up well between your hands to apply a thin layer. If not melted properly, it can make your face look oily. It's great for moisturizing in fall and winter, but in spring and summer, it might be better used as a Vaseline alternative for lips or elbows. It's great to apply as a final step in your skincare routine, creating a moisture-sealing layer that keeps your skin hydrated. When applied to lips, elbows, or heels before bed, they feel moisturized the next day. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 17, 2022
Since it's literally oil, I loved how it could perfectly lock in moisture on my skin. I have dry skin with some oiliness, so I'm always mindful of my oil and moisture balance. I was satisfied with how it kept my skin hydrated until morning when I applied a thin layer as the final step of my hydration-focused skincare routine or after using a hydrating sheet mask. Also, when I mixed it with body lotion, my skin felt incredibly soft and smooth! I even tried it on my 6-year-old's body and face, and it provided great hydration without any irritation. I highly recommend it for the whole family! While the packaging catches the eye in a good way, it has a slightly outdated look to it. Try using it anywhere you need hydration - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 16, 2022
My mother first discovered horse oil cream during a trip to Japan and loved it so much she used to buy it from overseas. When I gave her this one, she was absolutely thrilled! Being 100% horse oil cream, there's no worry about the ingredients. She's been using it since the start of the dry season, applying a thin layer after her skincare routine to prevent moisture loss. She's really satisfied with it! The packaging is the most disappointing aspect. I'm not sure if they were going for a retro look, but considering the product is on the pricier side, I think a more luxurious packaging could have made it even more appealing to potential buyers. It works great when applied thinly as the final step in your skincare routine to lock in moisture! I've heard it's also excellent for treating cracked heels.
