As it's a kids' product, it's not thick or sticky. Instead, it applies smoothly like an emulsion. The white cast is extremely noticeable. It's so thick on my child's skin that I'm hesitant to apply it. It doesn't wash off completely with water alone. You need to use a cleansing water to remove it thoroughly. - Hwahae UserDry SkinOct 6, 2021
It's very gentle on my skin, removes makeup effectively, and has a pleasant scent! There wasn't really anything disappointing about it, except maybe a slight white cast..? - Hwahae UserNormal SkinMay 19, 2021
It works well as a first cleanse, effectively removing makeup. There's hardly any scent, suggesting it's fragrance-free. It seems to be gentle on the skin with minimal irritation. It leaves a significant white cast. The watery consistency makes it apply unevenly, resulting in a patchy appearance on the face. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinApr 19, 2021
* True to its name 'sun milk', the texture is pleasantly lightweight, which I really appreciate. It applies smoothly and evenly. * The ingredients are relatively gentle, making it suitable for use with children. I'm currently using it with my little one. * The best feature is that it can be removed with just water. This is perfect for babies who aren't ready for foam cleansing yet. * The scent is nearly fragrance-free, which is a plus. * The only downside is the white cast it leaves. I had to carefully pat it in while looking in the mirror right after application to blend it well. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 19, 2021
It's washable and has great ingredients. I've only tried it on myself so far, not on the kids yet. I'll update my review if it works well for them. When applied, it feels a bit heavy due to its rich texture. There's some slight white cast (my neck looks a different color). When I put makeup on top, it breaks down quickly because of the oiliness, and my face feels quite suffocated. I recommend using this as a light sunscreen on its own. Especially avoid using it with rich moisturizers. For kids, it might be good since it's easy to wash off. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 17, 2021
Target user: 16-month-old baby boy Reason for use: After noticing freckle-like spots on one cheek from sun exposure in the car, I realized the need for sun protection. Texture: The lightweight formula spreads easily. White cast: For adults, using a 500 won coin-sized amount on the face leaves a white cast. However, for babies, there's no white cast when applying small amounts by gently patting on the cheeks. Cleansing: For adults, it comes off with water, but using a foam cleanser leaves skin feeling squeaky clean. For babies, we use very little and rinse with water only. I trust the product's claim about easy removal for babies. Not needing a separate cleanser is a big plus. SPF: While SPF 30 might be low for adults, it's suitable for babies who aren't directly exposed to sunlight often, like during car rides. SPF 30 is appropriate for babies, as too high SPF could interfere with vitamin D absorption. Packaging: Easy to dispense the right amount. The container is child-safe, difficult for young babies to open. I appreciate the rounded edges for added safety. The white cast is a bit disappointing. For older children like elementary school students, applying a larger amount might leave too much of a white cast, making it inconvenient to use. It's safe enough that moms can use it too while cuddling with their babies. I recommend moms try it as well. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinApr 16, 2021
The most appealing aspect is that it can be cleansed with water alone! It's impossible to avoid putting sunscreen on kids, and even though there are special cleansers for sunscreen, it was always a hassle to use them on children. But with this, just rubbing with water a few times leaves the skin clean and fresh. As my child has atopic dermatitis, I always prioritize checking ingredients. The inclusion of 'Magnolia Bark Extract' among its skin-friendly components is promising, as it's known to soothe sun-heated skin. Being a sun milk, it has a slightly fluid texture that applies smoothly, which I love. As it's a mineral sunscreen, there's no stinging sensation even when applied around the eyes. Compared to cream-type sun products, it feels lighter and less sticky when applied, leaving a fresh finish. The scent is nearly fragrance-free, making it non-irritating. My child is usually sensitive to fragrances, but has no aversion to this one. Since it washes off easily with water, you might need to reapply frequently for kids who sweat a lot in summer. It also might not be suitable for water activities. When it comes into contact with water, it leaves white streaks as it washes off. Adults should be careful when applying it. There is some white cast, which didn't bother me much, but it might be noticeable on darker skin tones. Due to the white cast, it tends to accumulate visibly around the sides of the nose. It's not as matte as sebum-controlling sun products and has a slight stickiness. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 16, 2021
❤️Review after 10 days of use on combination sensitive skin❤️ *Texture* It's a sun milk type with a thin consistency, but once applied, it adheres well and feels firm. However, it's comfortable on the skin without feeling heavy. *Scent* There's a very faint fragrance that quickly disappears. It's great that you can't smell the sunscreen even when wearing a mask. *White cast* There is a white cast. It provides a nice brightening effect that lasts. Just make sure to pat it in thoroughly after application to avoid patchy areas. *Hydration level* Unlike some mineral sunscreens that can leave your face feeling tight and matte, this product is moisturizing and doesn't cause any deep dryness. It's perfect - not greasy at all. *Overall impression* My elementary school-aged daughters and I are enjoying this product. The ingredients are gentle, and it's easy to wash off with water, making cleansing simple. Highly recommended for families looking for a mild mineral sunscreen for everyone to use. Pat it in quickly as soon as you apply it to your skin. It adheres rapidly, so if you don't blend it well, you might end up with patchy white cast. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 16, 2021
* Texture True to its 'Sun Milk' name, it has a fluid consistency that absorbs well. It's lightweight too. Some sunblocks can be thick and difficult to apply, but this product spreads easily. * Ingredients It's a mineral sunscreen, not a chemical one, and it's non-nano, so it's gentle on the skin. It's also suitable for use with children. * Volume At 80ml, you get more product compared to the usual 30ml or 50ml sizes. It's great for outdoor activities and applying to the body as well. * Cleansing The 'Washable' in the product name is spot on. It rinses off easily with just water. After use, I rinsed it under running water and followed up with a foam cleanser, which left my skin feeling thoroughly cleansed. * White Cast Because it's a fluid type, it can easily pour out of the container, potentially leading to overuse. As this product can leave a white cast, it's important to control the amount you use. * Sun Protection Factor With SPF30 PA++, for complete sun protection, you need to reapply every two hours. The sun protection factor is relatively lower compared to my previous SPF50 product, which is a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 16, 2021
The biggest advantage is that it's a washable sunscreen that can be removed with just water. I usually use other brands, and I often had to argue with my child about using cleansing tissues after washing. Now, I can let my child wash their face independently, which is convenient. As someone with oily skin, I found it to be very hydrating, absorbs well, and feels refreshing. Scent: Fragrance-free Texture: Thin emulsion type White cast: Slight Stickiness: Initially sticky after application, becomes powdery over time Moisturizing power: Mild There's a bit of stickiness initially. When applying, there's a slight white cast, but it looks natural and I actually like it. After applying the sunscreen, allow it to absorb fully before applying makeup.
