Unlike the typical thick texture of sunscreens, this feels more like applying a regular emulsion or moisturizer. It glides on smoothly and leaves your skin feeling hydrated without any stickiness or heaviness. Compared to many matte and white-cast-heavy sunscreens, this one applies comfortably. It has a transparent and clean application. It's as moisturizing as a hydrating cream, so you can protect your skin from the sun and keep it hydrated in one go. While matte sunscreens often require special removers or vigorous rubbing to wash off, it's amazing that this one rinses off with just water. Even with gentle cleansing, it removes completely without leaving any residue. Due to its extremely lightweight texture, you need to be careful to prevent it from running. Its minimalist design makes it easy to carry, so you can take it with you when you go out and reapply frequently. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinApr 16, 2021
The most appealing aspect is that it can be cleansed with water alone! It's impossible to avoid putting sunscreen on kids, and even though there are special cleansers for sunscreen, it was always a hassle to use them on children. But with this, just rubbing with water a few times leaves the skin clean and fresh. As my child has atopic dermatitis, I always prioritize checking ingredients. The inclusion of 'Magnolia Bark Extract' among its skin-friendly components is promising, as it's known to soothe sun-heated skin. Being a sun milk, it has a slightly fluid texture that applies smoothly, which I love. As it's a mineral sunscreen, there's no stinging sensation even when applied around the eyes. Compared to cream-type sun products, it feels lighter and less sticky when applied, leaving a fresh finish. The scent is nearly fragrance-free, making it non-irritating. My child is usually sensitive to fragrances, but has no aversion to this one. Since it washes off easily with water, you might need to reapply frequently for kids who sweat a lot in summer. It also might not be suitable for water activities. When it comes into contact with water, it leaves white streaks as it washes off. Adults should be careful when applying it. There is some white cast, which didn't bother me much, but it might be noticeable on darker skin tones. Due to the white cast, it tends to accumulate visibly around the sides of the nose. It's not as matte as sebum-controlling sun products and has a slight stickiness. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 16, 2021
* Texture True to its 'Sun Milk' name, it has a fluid consistency that absorbs well. It's lightweight too. Some sunblocks can be thick and difficult to apply, but this product spreads easily. * Ingredients It's a mineral sunscreen, not a chemical one, and it's non-nano, so it's gentle on the skin. It's also suitable for use with children. * Volume At 80ml, you get more product compared to the usual 30ml or 50ml sizes. It's great for outdoor activities and applying to the body as well. * Cleansing The 'Washable' in the product name is spot on. It rinses off easily with just water. After use, I rinsed it under running water and followed up with a foam cleanser, which left my skin feeling thoroughly cleansed. * White Cast Because it's a fluid type, it can easily pour out of the container, potentially leading to overuse. As this product can leave a white cast, it's important to control the amount you use. * Sun Protection Factor With SPF30 PA++, for complete sun protection, you need to reapply every two hours. The sun protection factor is relatively lower compared to my previous SPF50 product, which is a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 16, 2021
- The milky texture makes it easy to spread, so it's convenient to apply on children - It washes off easily with water, making it great for 6-year-olds who dislike washing with soap - When applied, it gives a subtle glow and is more hydrating than expected - In the photo, the left back of the hand shows where the sunscreen is applied When water touches it, it rinses off like an emulsion, similar to when using cleansing oil during face washing It might be difficult to use in sweaty seasons or during active pursuits There's a white residue that can run This seems more suitable for younger babies rather than active 6-year-old boys who run around and sweat a lot - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinApr 13, 2021
My kids usually hate washing their face with cleansers, so it's fantastic that they can just use water. It seems to cleanse really well, leaving no residue even when scrubbing with just water. The downside is that the product tends to drip. It also takes a bit of time to absorb. Perhaps due to the absence of harsh ingredients, it leaves a slight white cast. It's a bit challenging for kids to use on their own. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinMay 7, 2020
It truly washes off easily with water. Since my baby is still young, it's essential to apply sunscreen in this weather, and I don't feel burdened doing so. Plus, it's great that I don't need a special remover - it comes off easily during shower time. There wasn't much white cast either, which was a concern since I'm applying it on my baby, but it wasn't a major issue. However, for moms, it might feel a bit too dry and lacks coverage. While it's not thick, it flows like water, which can be a downside. It keeps running into the eyes, especially when sweating. It's not particularly oily, but it does have some moisture. Still, it can lead to deep dryness. Easy removal is a plus, but it's disappointing that sweat washes it off too. It's okay for my younger child, but for older kids, it's a shame it washes off in this hot weather. I wouldn't recommend it for those with dry skin, but it might be good for those with super sensitive skin as it's gentle. The easy removal is a merit, but when I use it myself rather than on my baby, I mix it with BB Complex for a bit of coverage. This gives it a nice balance of richness and coverage. It might work well for adults looking for a gentle option, but if you need coverage, you might want to explore other methods.
