As a foundation-free product, it does a great job of evening out my skin tone. While the coverage isn't perfect, it's sufficient enough to make me satisfied. Unfortunately, it tends to transfer onto my mask and causes blemishes to appear. I thought it might be an adjustment period, so I persevered and kept using it, but it's just causing a breakout of tiny bumps. Since it's a slightly matte product, I recommend applying it by gently patting with a puff. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinApr 3, 2025
I've been consistently using this product for two years now, and here's why I love it: 1. It gives such a beautiful skin finish that you can go foundation-free. 2. It's less likely to emphasize dead skin cells compared to other products. 3. It doesn't cause any irritation to my skin. 1. I wouldn't recommend this if you're looking for high coverage. 2. It tends to transfer when wearing a mask. For a much prettier complexion, apply it with the cushion puff instead of your hands or other sponges. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinMar 30, 2025
The serum-like lightweight texture glides on smoothly and thinly, leaving a hydrating finish without any cakiness The grayish tint makes it look dull, and it transfers onto clothes, which makes me hesitant to use it. I wanted to use it as a light foundation-free option, but it feels no different from regular foundation... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 13, 2025
True to its name, it gives a porcelain-like finish that's perfect for foundation-free days. I'm on my second bottle and it's fantastic for natural, bare-faced looks. It brightens the complexion in a lively, subtle way. The texture isn't too runny, which works well for oily skin. It's my go-to during summer months. The consistency is thick rather than fluid, so if you don't apply your skincare products carefully to avoid caking, it can make your skin look patchy and emphasize dead skin cells. It also tends to transfer onto masks. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 11, 2025
True to its name, it's great for a foundation-free look. It's moisturizing and applies like an emulsion or brightening moisturizer, making it easier to apply than foundation. While others mention it can look cakey, I didn't experience that and found it comfortable. Based on shade 21, it creates a natural, healthy complexion and evens out uneven skin tone. I'm already on my fourth bottle. It's a good idea to stock up during sales. Recommended for those who dislike wearing makeup but want to improve their complexion - for a natural, 'no-makeup' makeup look. The difference between using it and not is quite noticeable (remember to adjust the amount as needed). If you're expecting a true foundation alternative, you might be disappointed. I used this product because I dislike the heavy feeling of foundation on my skin, but it's unrealistic to expect the same coverage as foundation. It barely covers blemishes, but it does even out the skin tone somewhat. For those who usually wear a full face of makeup, this is more like a brightening moisturizer you'd use for quick errands or when you want a bare-faced look. Be careful, as it can transfer onto clothes and masks due to its 100% transfer rate! For a light and beautiful finish, apply a thin layer all over the face using a spatula or fingers, then gently pat with a cushion puff. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinMar 8, 2025
It's great that this product works as both a sunscreen and a brightening moisturizer - so convenient! The price is wallet-friendly too. I wish the staying power was a bit better. It tends to transfer more than I expected. Rather than applying a thick layer from the start, it's probably better to apply small amounts gradually. - Hwahae UserDry SkinFeb 12, 2025
📌 Texture ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It has a light cream texture. When applied with hands, it feels slightly sticky, but using a spatula makes it incredibly hydrating. 📌 Brightening effect ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My bare skin is shade 23, with darker areas on the forehead and around the mouth. This brightening moisturizer evens out those areas nicely. It lightens my complexion to between shades 21 and 22. True to its name, it really does give you that porcelain doll look! 📌 Transfer ⭐️⭐️⭐️ I can't really comment on face transfer as I use cushion foundation over it, but it does transfer onto clothes when applied to the neck. The texture isn't light enough for hands and arms, so I recommend using it only on the face. 📌 Longevity ⭐️⭐️⭐️ When I've used just this brightening moisturizer in a rush, it looks good for about 4 hours. After that, it starts to fade and can emphasize texture a bit. For best results, I recommend applying it over a well-hydrated base. It transfers onto clothes when applied to the neck, and when used alone, it can slightly emphasize texture and dead skin cells. When using this brightening moisturizer alone, make sure to apply a hydrating skincare routine beforehand for longer-lasting results. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJan 31, 2025
This product is what I ended up finding after searching to change my foundation, as there are always certain ingredients that don't suit my skin. Even though I don't have photos of the empties, this has been the perfect product for me and I've been using it consistently for 4 years! ❤️ First, when there are 1+1 sales or promotions, I can buy it affordably from Ol* which is great. And most importantly, the reason I chose this product is that it doesn't contain any harmful or bad ingredients that don't agree with me~! (It's my personal preference, but I've never had any issues with it...) 🧡 It's in a tube form and the small 1+1 size is convenient to carry around for travel. The texture is a creamy consistency, not too runny. For someone like me who uses shades 21 or 22, it's not too light and applies naturally. However, for those with lighter skin tones like 17 or 19, it may appear a bit dark or yellowish. 💛 The application is similar to a regular sunscreen - it spreads easily and lasts well when applied thinly. It's lightweight and hydrating. As a tone-up cream, it can cover some redness and light acne scars, but won't fully conceal dark spots or deep scars. But considering it's a tone-up cream, I'm very satisfied with the coverage! I just use a bit of concealer for the rest. 💚 With SPF50+ and PA++++, I don't need to apply a separate sunscreen. ⭐️ I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a good foundation alternative with nice ingredients, who prefers a lightweight, natural look over heavy coverage. If not applied thinly, there can be indentation and transfer, and for this reason, oily people in the summer may experience an increase in oiliness and clumping, so it is necessary to have the skill to apply it thinly and well by controlling the amount properly. I found a way to cover the above shortcomings and use it for a long time..! I tried various methods such as applying it with my hands, applying it with a puff, spreading it with a brush, patting it with a puff, spreading it with my hands, and patting it with a puff, but the best method was to apply it thinly with a pore cover brush and pat it with a damp puff. 👍🏻 I also lightly powdered the sides of my nose, forehead, between my eyebrows, and chin, so the staying power was also good:) - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinSep 21, 2024
I love how this brightening moisturizer enhances my complexion for a natural, foundation-free makeup look. Unlike other brightening products that often have a white or pink tint, this ivory-beige color blends seamlessly without looking ashy on the skin! It tends to transfer onto masks a bit, and the coverage is somewhat lower compared to cushion foundations. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 17, 2024
I loved how it naturally brightened my complexion! It does transfer a bit, so it's best to apply powder over it. This would be perfect for a foundation-free look! Unfortunately, the staying power seems a bit weak, and it tends to transfer, which was disappointing.
