A tone-up sun cream in a neutral tone, around shade 21. The application is more comfortable than expected, and the herbal scent of mint? eucalyptus? is pleasant. It provides natural-looking tone correction, and I purchased it as a convenient alternative to foundation or cushion. It applies smoothly and finishes with a slightly matte look, making it comfortable to use during the summer. It feels slightly thick and sticky when applied, and becomes slightly dry after some time. While it applies well on larger areas like the cheeks and forehead, it may slightly cling on the nose area. This is meant to be an easy-to-apply product, but requires some skill in application. The coverage provides a natural-looking skin finish, but is not enough to fully replace foundation. When going to exercise, going to the market, or going out in front of the house in the evening, or when traveling to Southeast Asia, I tend to apply it. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 15, 2025
This is a good alternative to foundation. It provides a natural-looking tone-up effect, and unlike regular sunscreen, it also offers light coverage, making it a good option for those who want to avoid foundation. The price is also not bad. The UV protection index is also decent, so it's a good choice. It would likely suit students who have difficulty using foundation or cushion, as well as those with poor skin. After using it, there is no noticeable breakout, and it does not cause significant whitening like tone-up sunscreen or a heavy, stuffy feeling like foundation. The formula is a bit on the dry side. I'm oily, so I don't recommend it to those with dry skin. Lately, there have been a lot of pore-minimizing products coming out, so I'd suggest looking into other products. Since the formula is dry, when you apply it with your hands, the texture of your fingers can be left on your skin, which doesn't look good. So, apply it with your hands to a certain extent, then use a puff or cushion to help it absorb better. While it's pore-minimizing, it doesn't have the same level of coverage as a foundation, so a concealer is a must! Just like applying sunscreen before foundation, please use another sunscreen before using this product. It will apply smoothly that way. However, if you just use your hands to apply it, it won't be great, so please use a puff. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 10, 2025
It's not bad: 1. Good ingredients Safe enough for sensitive skin to use daily without causing blemishes 2. Evens out skin tone While not as effective as foundation, it helps create a more uniform complexion 3. Provides coverage Though it won't completely conceal blemishes, it does offer some coverage 1. Darkening effect Skin appears darker a few hours after application 2. Ambiguous product positioning It's neither a foundation nor a sunscreen... Yet it requires double cleansing and some skin prep before use... Feels like it lacks clear benefits considering the inconvenience 3. Drying effect I have combination skin with dry cheeks, and sometimes I notice dead skin cells appearing on my cheeks after use I recommend trying it on at Olive Young and checking how well it matches your complexion after a few hours before purchasing... - Hwahae UserDry SkinMay 7, 2025
It's really great for a no-foundation makeup look. The coverage is quite good by default. It even lightens the veins on the back of my hand, and on the face, it covers blackheads on the nose without any issues. (You'll need a separate concealer for freckles or dark circles though.) It adheres well even with a quick application, and since it's not a foundation, you don't have to worry about it breaking down or rubbing off, which is convenient. Probably because it's a thicker type, it might feel a bit drying for those with dry skin. I use it with a generous spritz of facial mist and spread sunscreen over it to keep it more hydrated. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 2, 2025
The texture and color are similar to foundation, effectively covering redness and uneven areas of the skin. It's great for daily use. It feels a bit dry for those with dry skin, and after application, it tends to emphasize dead skin cells around the cheeks and lips. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 29, 2025
I highly recommend this product for those who frequently experience skin blemishes. It was actually suggested to me by a friend with super sensitive skin. It can feel a bit drying, so I've been adding a drop of serum when I use it to boost hydration. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 25, 2025
This product really brightens up my face and I absolutely love using it because it can match my complexion without making me look unnaturally pale It might flake if applied on very dry skin, and can pill when your skin is extra dewy - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 4, 2025
Here's my review for oily and sensitive skin types. Initially, there's a slight glow, but it becomes progressively drier over time. This can lead to some pore-clogging, but using a mist helps reduce this issue. The coverage isn't heavy, but it definitely brightens the complexion. However, as oil production increases throughout the day, my natural skin tone starts to show through. It's too drying for winter use, but works well in summer. Those with dry skin may find their face feeling quite parched as time passes. It's not particularly hydrating. If you apply too much skincare underneath, it can pill. Try to keep your base layers thin, and once the product has set, spritz with a facial mist to combat dryness. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 4, 2025
As someone who doesn't usually wear much makeup, this is perfect for when I go out. It evens out my complexion beautifully, giving me a soft, radiant look. Since I have dry skin, it feels a bit tight after a while. If you have dry skin, you might need to apply a very hydrating base underneath. For an even more radiant finish, try applying a thin layer, then gently pat on another thin layer on top. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMar 25, 2025
It provides decent coverage and evens out the skin tone quite well. The adherence to the skin is pretty good. There's a slight feeling of dryness, and after some time, you can see it starting to separate on the skin.
