I bought this for a foundation-free makeup look, but initially, I made a rookie mistake by applying too much like sunscreen, turning myself into a ghost! 😅 Remember, it has brightening properties, so you must control the amount. When applied correctly, it gives a natural finish while providing some subtle coverage unlike regular sunscreens. It's perfect for a no-foundation day! The texture initially seems to absorb well, but it feels a bit dry and matte. It's definitely different from your typical moisturizing sunscreen, which is disappointing. To get the best results, start with a small amount and build up as needed. This will help you achieve that natural, brightening effect without overdoing it. For those with drier skin types, you might want to layer a hydrating moisturizer underneath for added comfort. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinApr 28, 2025
It blends well with any skin tone - should I say it naturally brightens and gives a truly flawless finish? It applies smoothly, but after a while, it settles into a slightly matte feel. Since it also provides sun protection, I'm using it as my go-to instead of sunscreen and foundation. The finish is a bit matte, so if you don't exfoliate, it might not sit well. Also, I have super sensitive skin, so when I apply products that feel thick, it's like bugs are crawling on my face - and this product gives me that sensation a little, haha. Oh, and it definitely pills if you use it with other base makeup products, so apply it alone. If you don't want to use cushion, sunscreen, or foundation, but still want flawless skin, just apply this thinly. The skin finish is truly amazing. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 25, 2025
Among the sunscreens I've tried, this one had a nice brightening effect and left my skin feeling pleasantly matte. Unlike other sunscreens that caused small blemishes, this one rarely did, so I'm sticking with it. Due to its somewhat matte finish, it's best to apply this over a solid skincare base. I wouldn't recommend it for those with eczema or dry skin! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 5, 2025
The coverage is about 2.8/5. I use this when I'm too lazy to do a full face of makeup but can't go out bare-faced. I just quickly apply it before heading out. Since it's foundation-free, I can't apply it like an emulsion. Instead, I try to spread it thinly but thoroughly. It's great for those days when you need a bit of help but don't want to fuss with heavy makeup. It can look a bit cakey and has a matte finish. However, I've never experienced any blemishes from it. Keep in mind that due to its matte texture, it might not be suitable for those with dry skin. If you have combination dehydrated skin, you might want to layer a hydrating product underneath for better results. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 3, 2025
Great coverage. The color is beautiful. It seems to adhere well to the skin. I recommend shade 21. About 10 minutes after application, my face became extremely red. It didn't cause acne, but for someone like me who usually uses shade 19, it was a bit dark. It's very matte, so I think skincare is essential beforehand. Those with super sensitive skin probably won't be able to use this at all. I consider myself on the less sensitive end of the sensitive skin spectrum, but even I experienced significant redness. It's itchy, though not painful. I can't comment on the sun protection yet as it's winter. Overall, I'm not satisfied with it considering the price. Make sure to apply skincare products before using this. Those with dry skin should avoid it. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinFeb 27, 2025
I purchased this during a double deal at Olive Young for 2024 and have been using it! As a combination dehydrated skin teenager, I occasionally get blemishes and suffer from deep dryness (I have acne scars too). Would I repurchase? - Not necessarily. Review after use: • First off, it lives up to its 'foundation-free' claim with exceptional coverage. It's significantly better at covering than regular foundation-free sunscreens - wow! But... it's slightly matte. And on my skin tone (about #19), it looks a bit yellowish, like #21. Still, it's great for its convenience. Texture: • The texture is no different from regular foundation! If I had to compare, it's most similar to Givenchy foundation. Definitely not a runny formula. I purchased this during a double deal at Olive Young for 2024 and have been using it! As a combination dehydrated skin teenager, I occasionally get blemishes and suffer from deep dryness (I have acne scars too). Drawbacks: • Because it's matte, if you apply too much, it can look cakey like regular foundation. Despite being 'foundation-free', it tends to darken quite a bit. When you're already dealing with dry skin and then add darkening on top of that, sometimes your skin just looks... ruined. I purchased this during a double deal at Olive Young for 2024 and have been using it! As a combination dehydrated skin teenager, I occasionally get blemishes and suffer from deep dryness (I have acne scars too). My personal tips: • You don't need to squeeze out a lot of this product. The coverage is excellent, and even a small amount can feel thick when layered. A fingernail-sized amount is plenty. You can easily do your base makeup with just this for tone correction and some concealer. • It's matte! • This product has a semi-matte finish, so you need to prep your skin well before applying. Otherwise, it will look patchy. - Hwahae UserDry SkinFeb 19, 2025
It absorbs well and I'm using it comfortably! I love how it naturally evens my skin tone and brightens my complexion. It's slightly matte and tends to settle into lines, which is a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 5, 2025
True to its name, this product makes your skin look absolutely flawless, like fine porcelain. It offers decent coverage too. You can get away with just applying this alone. For spring, summer, and fall, there's nothing quite like it. However, as someone with dry skin, I find it a bit drying in winter. It tends to have a semi-matte finish, which can make your skin look a bit heavy when used in winter. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinJan 16, 2025
I've already gone through several tubes of this! It's perfect for a foundation-free look! It's not too greasy and doesn't leave any patchiness. Best of all, it provides a natural brightening effect and sun protection. This is definitely a product I'll use for life! There's not much to complain about! However, those with dry skin might find it a bit matte. Since it can be a bit matte, I overcame the dryness in winter by adding a drop of facial oil to my skincare routine before applying this! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 28, 2024
This product is absolutely fantastic for that effortless, natural look! It tackles skin texture, complexion, and blemish coverage all at once. My makeup routine has become so much easier since discovering this gem! I really hope they keep selling it for a long time to come. It has a slightly matte finish, so apply a base product with a bit of richness before using Numbers In for the best results! A small amount is more than enough! Be careful not to apply too much, or you might end up looking overly pale. To complete that natural, 'no-makeup' makeup look, gently pat a cushion foundation over Numbers In on areas where you want extra coverage.
