While the coverage isn't incredibly high, it still manages to conceal fairly well. What's particularly nice is how beautifully it applies even when you use your fingers. As someone with oily, sensitive skin prone to occasional blemishes, I'm most impressed by the fact that it didn't cause any breakouts. The coverage isn't particularly strong. The price point isn't exactly budget-friendly. This foundation works hard for combination dehydrated skin types. It absorbs well without pilling, leaving a natural glow without feeling sticky. It's great for those looking to even out their complexion without heavy coverage. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 19, 2025
Natural Brightening Effect The tone-up beige color illuminates your skin, giving you a radiant impression. It subtly brightens without any white cast, allowing you to achieve a natural complexion. Lightweight Application It applies thinly and smoothly like a cream, without any heaviness. Even when layered, it doesn't feel thick and finishes as light as a feather. Recommended for Clean Makeup Perfect as a foundation-free item that can be used without traditional foundation! Optimized for daily clean makeup when you want light and natural coverage. Coverage You might find it slightly lacking in completely concealing blemishes or dullness. If you're expecting full coverage like a regular foundation, you may be disappointed. Layer Thinly Multiple Times After applying a thin layer, wait a bit and then build up another layer for increased blemish coverage. Matte Powder Finish If you want a matte finish, lightly pat your usual powder over it for a final touch. Remember to Apply Thinly Applying it too thickly may hinder its effectiveness, so try using just one thin layer as a starting point. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMay 18, 2025
A tone-up sun cream in a neutral tone, around shade 21. The application is more comfortable than expected, and the herbal scent of mint? eucalyptus? is pleasant. It provides natural-looking tone correction, and I purchased it as a convenient alternative to foundation or cushion. It applies smoothly and finishes with a slightly matte look, making it comfortable to use during the summer. It feels slightly thick and sticky when applied, and becomes slightly dry after some time. While it applies well on larger areas like the cheeks and forehead, it may slightly cling on the nose area. This is meant to be an easy-to-apply product, but requires some skill in application. The coverage provides a natural-looking skin finish, but is not enough to fully replace foundation. When going to exercise, going to the market, or going out in front of the house in the evening, or when traveling to Southeast Asia, I tend to apply it. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinApr 28, 2025
It blends well with any skin tone - should I say it naturally brightens and gives a truly flawless finish? It applies smoothly, but after a while, it settles into a slightly matte feel. Since it also provides sun protection, I'm using it as my go-to instead of sunscreen and foundation. The finish is a bit matte, so if you don't exfoliate, it might not sit well. Also, I have super sensitive skin, so when I apply products that feel thick, it's like bugs are crawling on my face - and this product gives me that sensation a little, haha. Oh, and it definitely pills if you use it with other base makeup products, so apply it alone. If you don't want to use cushion, sunscreen, or foundation, but still want flawless skin, just apply this thinly. The skin finish is truly amazing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 28, 2025
My thoughts: 1) The absorbs really smoothly and feels gentle on the skin 2) It has a matte finish 3) Due to the changing seasons, my skin is quite dry, so after some time it tends to pill. It might be good for oily skin, but I wouldn't recommend it for dry skin 4) As expected from a brightening moisturizer with SPF, it doesn't provide coverage 5) My complexion is around shade 19-21, but I'm not sure if I notice much brightening. Maybe about 0.3 shades lighter...? 6) When I mix it with other hydrating brightening moisturizers with SPF, it's less drying and not bad at all 1) It's very drying 2) It doesn't seem to brighten the skin that much - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 13, 2025
I bought this a month ago during a 1+1 sale at Olive Young for around 25,000 won, and I've been using it consistently ever since! It applies smoothly, and I love how hydrating it is (my skin type is acne-prone and combination). I usually apply this as the final step in my skincare routine, and it seems to make my makeup adhere better. It provides decent coverage and has a nearly unscented formula. I've been using it daily as it's so lightweight. I've tried several foundation-free products, but this one suits me best, so I've settled on it! Given my combination skin type, oil tends to build up over time, causing the product to separate and look patchy. I think this might be more suitable for those with dry skin. It applies better when you pat it in with a cushion puff rather than using your fingers. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinMar 30, 2025
The serum-like lightweight texture glides on smoothly and thinly, leaving a hydrating finish without any cakiness The grayish tint makes it look dull, and it transfers onto clothes, which makes me hesitant to use it. I wanted to use it as a light foundation-free option, but it feels no different from regular foundation... - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 11, 2025
I use this when going out for a quick errand or when my skin isn't at its best and I don't want to apply foundation. The color is a natural beige, which is great because it doesn't leave that unnatural white cast like some products do. With its high SPF, it's perfect as a sunscreen and brightening moisturizer combo for casual outings. The absorbs well too, so I just pat it on quickly with my hands. The brightening effect seems to last quite a while as well. It doesn't seem to offer much coverage. While I didn't buy it expecting high coverage, when I use this product alone and look in the mirror, I feel like I still need to apply concealer... which is a bit disappointing. Also, maybe because I used it in winter, but as time passed, my dry skin experienced deep dryness. Even when I applied a generous amount of regular moisturizer and used this product, my skin felt dry in winter. So I found that applying moisturizer, then a bit of Missha balm, and then this product helped reduce the dryness. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 11, 2025
True to its name, it's great for a foundation-free look. It's moisturizing and applies like an emulsion or brightening moisturizer, making it easier to apply than foundation. While others mention it can look cakey, I didn't experience that and found it comfortable. Based on shade 21, it creates a natural, healthy complexion and evens out uneven skin tone. I'm already on my fourth bottle. It's a good idea to stock up during sales. Recommended for those who dislike wearing makeup but want to improve their complexion - for a natural, 'no-makeup' makeup look. The difference between using it and not is quite noticeable (remember to adjust the amount as needed). If you're expecting a true foundation alternative, you might be disappointed. I used this product because I dislike the heavy feeling of foundation on my skin, but it's unrealistic to expect the same coverage as foundation. It barely covers blemishes, but it does even out the skin tone somewhat. For those who usually wear a full face of makeup, this is more like a brightening moisturizer you'd use for quick errands or when you want a bare-faced look. Be careful, as it can transfer onto clothes and masks due to its 100% transfer rate! For a light and beautiful finish, apply a thin layer all over the face using a spatula or fingers, then gently pat with a cushion puff. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 25, 2025
It definitely excels in coverage and absorbs well. The sunscreen-like texture makes it easy for beginners to apply. When applied, it feels a bit sticky, and there's a slight glow, but not enough to be bothersome. To be honest, I'm not too fussy with makeup and usually just apply it quickly with my fingers. But I think if you use a tool like a spatula, you could achieve a really beautiful complexion.
