  Pros

  I was impressed with the container from the start because it's so convenient for storing the spatula. It seemed like it would be really hygienic to use! Compared to other brands, this cleansing balm melts incredibly well and feels silky smooth. It has a strong in-between texture of solid and liquid, and it transforms quickly with the heat from your hands. The cleansing effectiveness is excellent - it removed all my makeup without any issues. When I followed up with a foam cleanser for double cleansing, I didn't feel like anything was left behind.

  Cons

  The texture was softer than I expected, and I found myself using quite a bit each time. This made the amount feel much smaller than anticipated... I'm not sure if it's really cost-effective compared to other brands on the market.

  I got to try this through a Hwahae event. I'm in my mid-30s with combination skin that's prone to blemishes and super sensitive if I use the wrong products. After removing my makeup post-work, I found it absorbs really well. It's effective at cleansing, and I appreciate the extra lid that keeps water out of the container. The scent is just a typical cosmetic smell. After massaging for about 5 minutes, a white, oil-like substance emerged. Looking in the mirror after washing, my complexion looked great. While I wish there was a bit more product, the texture feels like a soft wax. Since I only wear light makeup, mostly on my skin and eyes, I'm quite satisfied with how it's working for me.   This product removed my makeup effectively and seems to be the best at clearing out pores among all the cleansing oils/balms I've tried! Usually, I can't see my sebum unless I press on my nose area, and it's been hard to remove with other cleansing oils and balms, even with thorough massaging. While this one isn't miraculously effective, it's definitely the best I've used so far (compared to Hanskin cleansing oil and Banila Co cleansing balm) for getting rid of those stubborn blemishes!

  Cons

  First off, the amount is quite small, so it'll probably run out quickly. When you consider the price-to-quantity ratio, it's a bit disappointing. Also, you'll likely need to follow up with a second cleanse. I always do a double cleanse regardless of the product, but this one doesn't leave your skin feeling fresh enough to skip it. Looking at the ingredients now, they're not ideal. While it's fine for me as I don't have sensitive skin, those with ingredient sensitivities might find it difficult to use.

I loved how it left my skin feeling hydrated without any tightness after cleansing. ➰ Texture Despite being a deep cleanser, it didn't irritate my skin or leave any residue, which was great! It emulsifies like a cleansing oil to dissolve makeup and cleanse the skin, but without leaving any slippery residue or stripping away moisture that would make your skin feel tight and squeaky clean. ➰ Packaging The product comes with a built-in spatula that can be attached to the lid, making it very convenient to use. For a product that's used daily, these small details are important!

  ➰ Blackhead management? The product description advertises that it contains charcoal, an ingredient that absorbs sebum, allowing you to manage your pores while cleansing. However, I didn't notice any significant changes in terms of pore care or reduction in blackheads. It was just an average cleansing balm with a decent performance. ➰ Price Compared to other products, it's neither cheaper nor does it offer a larger quantity for the price. If it had shown noticeable improvements in pore care as advertised, it would have been great. Personally, I found it to be an average product, and I'm not sure if its performance justifies paying twice the price of my usual cleansing balm.

But switching to this cleansing balm for my first cleanse has been a game-changer - no irritation and it removes makeup effectively! I was initially concerned that a cleansing balm might be too oily, but the Bifesta cleansing balm rinses off cleanly with water, leaving skin feeling fresh. Unlike wipe-off cleansers that make my eyelashes fall out when removing mascara, this one allows me to gently massage without losing lashes. The best part? It deep cleanses even stubborn color makeup like mascara!

  When I first used it, I wasn't used to applying it like an emulsion without wetting my face and then rinsing it off with water. But the texture melted into my skin so smoothly, it felt really nice. Even after rinsing, it felt like there was still a protective layer on my skin, keeping it hydrated without any dryness! I usually only wear sunscreen, so I checked how well it removed that - it cleaned it off completely. So I'm satisfied with its cleansing effectiveness too! The scent is surprisingly strong, which might be hit or miss for some people, but I didn't mind it. It gives you that pampered feeling. I'd recommend this more for dry skin than oily skin. But anyone who regularly uses oil-based products should find it suitable. What I was most pleased with was the improvement in my blackheads and the texture on my T-zone. Personally, I think it was effective on the bumpy texture in my T-zone and on my blackheads!!! It was amazing how it just melted into my skin as soon as I applied it. I didn't do a second cleanse, but if you don't like that slippery feeling, you might want to follow up with another cleanser.

  The lid looked like it would open easily without twisting, but it was surprisingly difficult to open, which was annoying. Also, the spatula attached to the lid kept falling off, which was a bit of a hassle. The amount seems small for the price. It makes me want to use it sparingly.
