Although I've never tried a cleansing balm before, I was pleasantly surprised! It removed makeup better than I expected, so I didn't need to use another product afterward - that was the best part for me. The scent is quite strong, which might be polarizing, but I personally liked it. However, if you're sensitive to fragrances, you might want to skip this one. The included spatula was a nice touch, making application more hygienic and convenient.
ConsThe packaging seems a bit cheap - the lid doesn't close properly, and the spatula keeps falling off, which is a bit annoying. I wish the spatula would stay in place better. Also, as someone with strawberry nose, I didn't see much effect on my blackheads. It didn't do much for my blemishes either! I had high hopes for this, so I'm disappointed enough to deduct a point. Lastly, the product leaves a slightly oily residue, so it might not be enough to end your cleansing routine with just this. I'd recommend following up with a foam cleanser.
TipI recommend using the Bifesta Cleansing Balm as your first cleanse, followed by a foam cleanser for your second cleanse. This will help remove any residual oiliness. Due to its rich texture, this product might be more suitable for those with dry skin rather than oily skin.

Usually, I can't see my sebum unless I press on my nose area, and it's been hard to remove with other cleansing oils and balms, even with thorough massaging. While this one isn't miraculously effective, it's definitely the best I've used so far (compared to Hanskin cleansing oil and Banila Co cleansing balm) for getting rid of those stubborn blemishes!
ConsFirst off, the amount is quite small, so it'll probably run out quickly. When you consider the price-to-quantity ratio, it's a bit disappointing. Also, you'll likely need to follow up with a second cleanse. I always do a double cleanse regardless of the product, but this one doesn't leave your skin feeling fresh enough to skip it. Looking at the ingredients now, they're not ideal. While it's fine for me as I don't have sensitive skin, those with ingredient sensitivities might find it difficult to use.

I strongly recommend Bifesta Cleansing Balm Deep Clear for those with sensitive skin who can't compromise on cleansing power. I'm convinced I'll be sticking with Bifesta Micellar Deep Cleansing Balm from now on. I wholeheartedly recommend this to everyone!
ConsThe price is relatively high compared to other products, so I wish there were more discount promotions. Apart from the price, it's a perfect product with no downsides!
TipThe best tip is to purchase it during a sale!

It's the smoothest cleansing balm I've ever used! Scent / As someone with allergies, I didn't find the fragrance overpowering at all. Formula / It's amazing how this balm transforms into a cleansing oil! It seems to have a protective layer? You need to emulsify it, but it rinses off completely! My skin feels hydrated even after washing!
ConsThe price is a bit disappointing. I understand it's not a domestic brand, but still... the cost is a letdown. The ingredients list could also be better...
TipIf you have oily skin, a double cleanse is a must! Otherwise, you might end up with blemishes. The formula isn't particularly light, so keep that in mind!

While I can't pinpoint the exact aroma, it didn't interfere with the cleansing process. ✔️Texture and application Though it looked firm at first glance, using the included spoon revealed an incredibly soft texture that melted effortlessly. Unlike the Ba**ko cleansing balm I usually use, which requires warming up in your hands, the Bifesta balm practically liquefies as soon as it touches your face. This made it super easy to massage in without irritation. ✔️Cleansing power I typically wear sunstick, powder foundation, eyeshadow, eyeliner, and blush. This removed makeup as effectively as Ba**ko. Applying and massaging the balm feels like using a cleansing oil, making it much easier to work with. It seemed to help with sebum control, and I believe continued use would yield even better results. After removing my makeup, I spent extra time massaging my nose area, and while it didn't extract blackheads, it noticeably refined the pores. While Ba**ko has been my go-to for its thorough makeup removal, it doesn't do much for sebum control. The Bifesta balm cleans just as well, so I'll likely keep using it. ✔️Double cleansing not necessary I personally don't double cleanse, and the product description states it's unnecessary. There is a slight oily residue, perhaps a bit more than other products, but thorough rinsing with water gradually removes it. After finishing, I didn't feel the need for a second cleanse. ✔️Post-cleansing feel The sebum control left my skin feeling noticeably smoother on the surface, and I didn't experience any deep dryness after washing.
ConsI don't have any major complaints. There were no blemishes or adverse reactions after use. Just be careful with the container as it's quite sturdy. I pinched my finger when closing the lid, which was quite painful. This was due to my carelessness, so just handle it with care! If I had to mention a downside, it would be the price point. It might be a bit on the expensive side for some people.
TipRather than just for cleansing, I'd recommend massaging it for a few minutes around areas like the nose to help with sebum control and overall skin refinement.

I'm a member of The Hwahae Testers with dry and super sensitive skin. ⭐Texture The texture surprised me! It looked quite solid at first glance, but it's actually smoother than expected. It's softer than a sorbet-like consistency. It melts wonderfully with body heat, allowing for a gentle roll-on application that cleanses effectively. I love that it comes with a stick that fits into the lid for storage - so much more convenient than those double-lid designs! ⭐Ingredients / Cleansing Effectiveness I was hoping for better ingredients... there are a few concerning ones, which is disappointing. As for cleansing effectiveness, I tested it on mascara and eyeliner that usually require eye makeup remover or cleansing oil. It removed them very well, which was satisfying! The product emulsifies nicely too. Even if it got in my eyes while cleansing, it only blurred my vision slightly without causing any tingling. Being a cleansing balm, it does a great job of dissolving sebum in the pores, leaving my skin feeling smooth after double cleansing. ⭐Scent The scent is slightly herbal...? It seems to be an aromatic fragrance in the product, but it's not overpowering - just a subtle, pleasant aroma.
ConsThe price of 20,000₩ for 100ml feels a bit steep... I think I'd choose products with better value for money and ingredients over this one...
TipI recommend following up with a cleansing foam for a double cleanse, as this product alone might leave your skin feeling a bit rich.

But the texture melted into my skin so smoothly, it felt really nice. Even after rinsing, it felt like there was still a protective layer on my skin, keeping it hydrated without any dryness! I usually only wear sunscreen, so I checked how well it removed that - it cleaned it off completely. So I'm satisfied with its cleansing effectiveness too! The scent is surprisingly strong, which might be hit or miss for some people, but I didn't mind it. It gives you that pampered feeling. I'd recommend this more for dry skin than oily skin. But anyone who regularly uses oil-based products should find it suitable. What I was most pleased with was the improvement in my blackheads and the texture on my T-zone. Personally, I think it was effective on the bumpy texture in my T-zone and on my blackheads!!! It was amazing how it just melted into my skin as soon as I applied it. I didn't do a second cleanse, but if you don't like that slippery feeling, you might want to follow up with another cleanser.
ConsThe lid looked like it would open easily without twisting, but it was surprisingly difficult to open, which was annoying. Also, the spatula attached to the lid kept falling off, which was a bit of a hassle. The amount seems small for the price. It makes me want to use it sparingly. However, if it goes on sale, I'd consider repurchasing!
TipRinse with lukewarm water. It might feel slippery if you use cold water!

But when I scooped it with the built-in spatula, it came out incredibly soft. When applied to the face, it truly melts away, just like its name suggests! - There's no particularly bothersome scent! - It not only removes face makeup but also effectively removes lip products without a separate remover! I don't wear eye makeup, so I'm not sure how well it removes mascara or eyeliner, but judging by how cleanly it removes lip products, I think it would work well on eye makeup too!
Cons- I started experiencing blemishes on my face after using this product. Unfortunately, it coincided with my cycle, but the breakouts were worse than last month. It seems this product doesn't agree with my skin. Those with oily skin might want to keep this in mind! - It gets used up faster than I expected, so the price might be a bit burdensome for frequent repurchases.
TipAfter massaging and rinsing with water, there's still quite a bit of oil left, so you definitely need to follow up with a foam cleanser!

Many products left my skin feeling tight after cleansing, but this one is super hydrating! I also appreciate the included spatula, which allows for hygienic application. The attached flip-top lid is a great feature too! It's much more convenient than screw-top lids, which can be a hassle to open and close.
ConsThe price is a bit disappointing. I feel it's quite expensive for the amount you get.

Texture - The texture is incredibly gentle. Banila Co. used to be my favorite for cleansing balms, but this might change that. It's non-irritating too. 2. Formula - Initially, I thought the formula would be similar to other cleansing balms, but it's even softer. The gentler formula seems to cause less irritation. 3. Scent - As someone with mild allergies, I don't detect any fragrance. 4. Non-irritating - I rarely wear eye makeup, but I tried removing some over the weekend and it was so gentle. Honestly... my skin has become so sensitive that even Avène's cleansing gel sometimes stings, but this doesn't. No eye irritation at all - it's really great. 5. Included spatula - It's nice that a spatula is included.
Cons1. Inconvenient spatula storage - While a spatula is included, it's difficult to store. I keep it inserted in the cleansing balm from the start. It would be better if they made the spatula slightly smaller so it could be stored in the lid. 2. Product amount - The amount of product is a bit disappointing. While this size is standard for cleansing balms, it would be great if they released a larger size. 3. Japanese product - Since Bifesta is a Japanese brand, those who avoid Japanese products should choose an alternative.
TipDue to the difficulty of storing the spatula, I scoop out the product onto the back of my dry hand and then insert the spatula back into the cleansing balm for storage.
