As the name 'Deep Clear' suggests, it's fantastic for removing excess oil. The cleansing balm melts into the skin beautifully and cleanses effectively. I'm really impressed!
ConsI don't have any particular complaints! I know many people worry about hygiene when using cleansing balms, but since I've been using them for a while, I always make sure to wipe the spatula clean after each use before putting it back. So I haven't experienced any issues. If you dislike the extra step, consider trying it out after some thought!

It seems to remove makeup effectively (though I can't speak for mascara as I don't use it). The scent reminds me of something that would repel mosquitoes. It gently dissolves makeup, and when I feel some texture around my nose area, I make sure to massage it thoroughly. This helps reduce the appearance of blackheads.
ConsWhen removing makeup, I felt the product was a bit too rich in texture. It causes a tingling sensation. Initially, my entire face reacted, but now I only get blemishes in certain areas. As a result, I'm diligently applying skincare products with cica ingredients. The spatula tends to detach easily.

Although I've never tried a cleansing balm before, I was pleasantly surprised! It removed makeup better than I expected, so I didn't need to use another product afterward - that was the best part for me. The scent is quite strong, which might be polarizing, but I personally liked it. However, if you're sensitive to fragrances, you might want to skip this one. The included spatula was a nice touch, making application more hygienic and convenient.
ConsThe packaging seems a bit cheap - the lid doesn't close properly, and the spatula keeps falling off, which is a bit annoying. I wish the spatula would stay in place better. Also, as someone with strawberry nose, I didn't see much effect on my blackheads. It didn't do much for my blemishes either! I had high hopes for this, so I'm disappointed enough to deduct a point. Lastly, the product leaves a slightly oily residue, so it might not be enough to end your cleansing routine with just this. I'd recommend following up with a foam cleanser.
TipI recommend using the Bifesta Cleansing Balm as your first cleanse, followed by a foam cleanser for your second cleanse. This will help remove any residual oiliness. Due to its rich texture, this product might be more suitable for those with dry skin rather than oily skin.

As someone who prefers simplicity and one-step routines, this product is perfect. It's wonderfully hydrating and gentle on the eyes, which is crucial for me. It effortlessly removes all makeup - lip, eye, everything - with just a small amount. It seems to provide a deep cleanse too (though it's hard to tell for sure, but I've noticed less sebum production). My skin feels so moisturized after use. I'll definitely be purchasing this with my own money later! It's become an essential part of my skincare routine.
ConsThe only downside is there's nowhere to put the spatula. It would be great if they could create a place to attach it. Instead of a double lid, which can be inconvenient, it would be nice if we could stick it to the bottom of the lid, like with ice cream containers.
TipNo special tips needed - it's great just scooping and applying as is!

The subtle scent means it's unlikely to be polarizing. Texture: While it looks like a solid balm, it has a soft, buttery consistency. Performance: The cleansing effectiveness is phenomenal... I applied heavy foundation, eyebrow pencil, and lipstick, then removed it all - it just melted away effortlessly. It cleanses incredibly gently without any irritation, dissolving makeup quickly and efficiently. It's truly amazing! Although I received this as part of The Hwahae Testers program, I'd definitely repurchase it with my own money once I finish it. Even with super sensitive skin, it allows for gentle, non-irritating cleansing...! It's absolutely fantastic, I highly recommend it!
ConsThere are no downsides... truly none...! I really can't think of any... I just recommend it wholeheartedly! Actually, the only slight inconvenience is that there's no place to store the spatula.
TipYou don't need to use a large amount - a small quantity is sufficient for thorough cleansing! However, if you're wearing heavy eye makeup, make sure to cleanse thoroughly.

However, even after rinsing well with water, there's a slight slippery feeling left, so I always followed up with a foam cleanser for a second cleanse! Personally, I'm not sure if it had a significant effect on sebum or blackheads. When I first used it, I could feel sebum granules on my hands during the rolling and emulsification process, but this sensation disappeared with consistent use. Curious if this meant my sebum had decreased, I tried my old cleansing oil one day and could still feel the sebum granules. (So I ended up using cleansing oil 1-2 days a week and the cleansing balm for the rest) ✔️ Fragrance I'm quite sensitive to scents, but while this product does have a fragrance, it wasn't overwhelming enough to bother me during use.
Cons✔️ Ingredients While I didn't experience any major blemishes from using this product, it does contain some cautionary ingredients. Those who are sensitive to these ingredients should be careful! ✔️ Packaging The spatula is meant to be attached to the lid for storage, but there's no specific groove for it, which was a bit inconvenient. Sometimes it stays in place well, other times it falls into the product when you open the lid.

But the texture melted into my skin so smoothly, it felt really nice. Even after rinsing, it felt like there was still a protective layer on my skin, keeping it hydrated without any dryness! I usually only wear sunscreen, so I checked how well it removed that - it cleaned it off completely. So I'm satisfied with its cleansing effectiveness too! The scent is surprisingly strong, which might be hit or miss for some people, but I didn't mind it. It gives you that pampered feeling. I'd recommend this more for dry skin than oily skin. But anyone who regularly uses oil-based products should find it suitable. What I was most pleased with was the improvement in my blackheads and the texture on my T-zone. Personally, I think it was effective on the bumpy texture in my T-zone and on my blackheads!!! It was amazing how it just melted into my skin as soon as I applied it. I didn't do a second cleanse, but if you don't like that slippery feeling, you might want to follow up with another cleanser.
ConsThe lid looked like it would open easily without twisting, but it was surprisingly difficult to open, which was annoying. Also, the spatula attached to the lid kept falling off, which was a bit of a hassle. The amount seems small for the price. It makes me want to use it sparingly. However, if it goes on sale, I'd consider repurchasing!
TipRinse with lukewarm water. It might feel slippery if you use cold water!

Scent: There's a noticeable aromatherapy fragrance. It reminds me of the scent you experience during an aromatherapy massage, giving a sense of healing. The aroma is subtle and not overpowering. Application: It's incredibly smooth. Unlike other cleansing balms that require warming up in your hands, this one melts effortlessly on your face. It transforms into a transparent oil, making cleansing easy. It's pleasant to massage and roll it gently on the skin. Cleansing: It cleanses softly without much irritation. It seems to remove makeup and impurities thoroughly. However, I'm not sure about its effectiveness in removing blackheads or sebum. It doesn't seem to help much in that area. Post-cleansing: I didn't experience significant dryness after use.
ConsThe ingredients are a bit disappointing. It contains PEG and phenoxyethanol, which isn't ideal. Also, the packaging could be improved. It's difficult to store the spatula. It's supposed to fit inside the lid, but it easily falls into the product. It would have been better if there was something to hold it securely in place.
TipLike with cleansing oils, you should massage thoroughly with the cleansing balm and then emulsify it well. After rinsing thoroughly with water, follow up with a foam cleanser for a double cleanse to prevent blemishes!

Texture - The texture is incredibly gentle. Banila Co. used to be my favorite for cleansing balms, but this might change that. It's non-irritating too. 2. Formula - Initially, I thought the formula would be similar to other cleansing balms, but it's even softer. The gentler formula seems to cause less irritation. 3. Scent - As someone with mild allergies, I don't detect any fragrance. 4. Non-irritating - I rarely wear eye makeup, but I tried removing some over the weekend and it was so gentle. Honestly... my skin has become so sensitive that even Avène's cleansing gel sometimes stings, but this doesn't. No eye irritation at all - it's really great. 5. Included spatula - It's nice that a spatula is included.
Cons1. Inconvenient spatula storage - While a spatula is included, it's difficult to store. I keep it inserted in the cleansing balm from the start. It would be better if they made the spatula slightly smaller so it could be stored in the lid. 2. Product amount - The amount of product is a bit disappointing. While this size is standard for cleansing balms, it would be great if they released a larger size. 3. Japanese product - Since Bifesta is a Japanese brand, those who avoid Japanese products should choose an alternative.
TipDue to the difficulty of storing the spatula, I scoop out the product onto the back of my dry hand and then insert the spatula back into the cleansing balm for storage.

The charcoal ingredient gives it a nice grayish tint. As someone with dry skin prone to dark spots, I apply sunscreen daily, which necessitates double cleansing. This product feels moisturizing, which is great. I usually stick to cleansing oils, but after trying cleansing balms, I'm hooked. This one's fantastic! It's so satisfying how the solid balm melts into a sherbet-like texture. If you've never tried a balm cleanser, you must! The product description mentions blackhead removal benefits. My sibling and I are testing it out, but we'll need to use it consistently to see results. So far, its cleansing effectiveness is impressive!
ConsThe lid is a bit tricky to open. When you apply more force, the spatula attached to the lid tends to fall off. Given the abundance of affordable options, this product seems a bit pricey. While my resilient skin handled it well, it would be great if the formula could be improved for those with super sensitive skin.
TipBe careful not to misplace the spatula!
