  Pros

  I'm amazed that it's made with charcoal! It doesn't have a strong charcoal scent and spreads smoothly, which is totally satisfying. It even removes heavy makeup effectively.

  The built-in spatula makes it incredibly easy to scoop out the product, and it melts beautifully when applied to the skin. It seems to remove makeup effectively (though I can't speak for mascara as I don't use it). The scent reminds me of something that would repel mosquitoes. It gently dissolves makeup, and when I feel some texture around my nose area, I make sure to massage it thoroughly. This helps reduce the appearance of blackheads.

  When removing makeup, I felt the product was a bit too rich in texture. It causes a tingling sensation. Initially, my entire face reacted, but now I only get blemishes in certain areas. As a result, I'm diligently applying skincare products with cica ingredients. The spatula tends to detach easily.

Texture: Although it's a balm, it quickly melts with body heat when placed on hands, becoming oily and easy to gently massage. 3. Portability: Since it can cleanse waterproof formulas, you only need to pack this one product for travel instead of a separate lip and eye remover. 4. Spatula: The best part is that you don't have to scoop it out with your fingers. It comes with a spatula inside the container, making it convenient to use.

  1. Slight irritation: While it didn't cause new blemishes during use, I felt a slight tingling sensation. I plan to use it only on days when I wear makeup. 2.   I loved how this incredibly soft balm texture transforms into a really smooth oil when you gently massage it in. It's not a thick, heavy oil, but rather a silky smooth one that feels like it won't cause any irritation at all. Another plus was that the scent wasn't overpowering. There's no unpleasant fragrance! The cleansing power is amazing! I tested it with eyeliner, and even though Merje eyeliner is usually resistant to water and oil, this cleanser removed it completely after just a few gentle rubs. I also appreciated the inclusion of a spoon for hygiene purposes.

  Cons

  The spoon doesn't stay in place very well, so I often end up dropping it during use. It needs some kind of fixing point or something to hold it securely.

  Since it's such a gentle oil, you can cleanse without any irritation by relaxing your hand and massaging very gently.

  This product removed my makeup effectively and seems to be the best at clearing out pores among all the cleansing oils/balms I've tried! Usually, I can't see my sebum unless I press on my nose area, and it's been hard to remove with other cleansing oils and balms, even with thorough massaging. While this one isn't miraculously effective, it's definitely the best I've used so far (compared to Hanskin cleansing oil and Banila Co cleansing balm) for getting rid of those stubborn blemishes!

  Cons

  First off, the amount is quite small, so it'll probably run out quickly. When you consider the price-to-quantity ratio, it's a bit disappointing. Also, you'll likely need to follow up with a second cleanse. I always do a double cleanse regardless of the product, but this one doesn't leave your skin feeling fresh enough to skip it. Looking at the ingredients now, they're not ideal. While it's fine for me as I don't have sensitive skin, those with ingredient sensitivities might find it difficult to use.

  For sensitive combination dehydrated skin: Scent: Upon opening, there's no distinct fragrance. The subtle scent means it's unlikely to be polarizing. Texture: While it looks like a solid balm, it has a soft, buttery consistency. Performance: The cleansing effectiveness is phenomenal... I applied heavy foundation, eyebrow pencil, and lipstick, then removed it all - it just melted away effortlessly. It cleanses incredibly gently without any irritation, dissolving makeup quickly and efficiently. It's truly amazing! Although I received this as part of The Hwahae Testers program, I'd definitely repurchase it with my own money once I finish it. Even with super sensitive skin, it allows for gentle, non-irritating cleansing...! It's absolutely fantastic, I highly recommend it!

  There are no downsides... truly none...! I really can't think of any... I just recommend it wholeheartedly! Actually, the only slight inconvenience is that there's no place to store the spatula.

  You don't need to use a large amount - a small quantity is sufficient for thorough cleansing! However, if you're wearing heavy eye makeup, make sure to cleanse thoroughly.
