  This was better than I expected. It applies incredibly smoothly, lathers well, and seems to cleanse effectively. It's so soft that it feels nice when scooping it out with the spoon!

  Cons

  It contains charcoal, which gives it a grayish-black color! As the name 'Deep Clear' suggests, it's fantastic for removing excess oil. The cleansing balm melts into the skin beautifully and cleanses effectively. I'm really impressed!

  Cons

  I don't have any particular complaints! I know many people worry about hygiene when using cleansing balms, but since I've been using them for a while, I always make sure to wipe the spatula clean after each use before putting it back. So I haven't experienced any issues. If you dislike the extra step, consider trying it out after some thought!

Texture: Although it's a balm, it quickly melts with body heat when placed on hands, becoming oily and easy to gently massage. 3. Portability: Since it can cleanse waterproof formulas, you only need to pack this one product for travel instead of a separate lip and eye remover. 4. Spatula: The best part is that you don't have to scoop it out with your fingers. It comes with a spatula inside the container, making it convenient to use.

  1. Slight irritation: While it didn't cause new blemishes during use, I felt a slight tingling sensation. I plan to use it only on days when I wear makeup. 2. After-feel: It's a bit hard to distinguish whether the finish is moisturizing or if there's residue left. Double cleansing seems necessary. 3. Blackheads: The effect is milder than expected.   I loved how this incredibly soft balm texture transforms into a really smooth oil when you gently massage it in. It's not a thick, heavy oil, but rather a silky smooth one that feels like it won't cause any irritation at all. Another plus was that the scent wasn't overpowering. There's no unpleasant fragrance! The cleansing power is amazing! I tested it with eyeliner, and even though Merje eyeliner is usually resistant to water and oil, this cleanser removed it completely after just a few gentle rubs. I also appreciated the inclusion of a spoon for hygiene purposes.

  Cons

  The spoon doesn't stay in place very well, so I often end up dropping it during use. It needs some kind of fixing point or something to hold it securely.

  Tip

  Since it's such a gentle oil, you can cleanse without any irritation by relaxing your hand and massaging very gently.

  - Texture: Incredibly soft. When I first opened it, it looked a bit solid, so I thought it might spread like slightly hardened Vaseline. But I was surprised by how smoothly it scooped out! As soon as it touches your face, it melts gently on your skin. - Scent: It has exactly the charcoal scent you'd expect from a charcoal cleansing balm. A neutral charcoal fragrance. - Cleansing effectiveness: It was better at cleansing than I expected! I used it after removing eye makeup with a remover, but it quickly dissolved the leftover mascara residue and eyeliner that the remover didn't get.

  Cons

  - While there's no residue, because the texture is so soft, it feels a bit slippery. You need to rinse it off more thoroughly than an oil cleanser. That was slightly disappointing for me. Other than that, I'm satisfied.

  Tip

  I always do a thorough 3-step cleanse: makeup remover, cleansing oil, then cleansing foam. Although this product says double cleansing isn't necessary, I still do at least two steps! I replaced the remover and oil steps with this cleansing balm, then followed up with a cleansing foam for a thorough cleanse. It left my skin feeling clean and refreshed! This was my first time trying a cleansing balm, and I think it was a good experiment.

  1. Cleansing effectiveness Even though I only wore sunscreen and didn't have makeup to remove, I think the cleansing power is good. I usually use a cleansing milk followed by a foam cleanser, and this product's cleansing effectiveness feels quite similar to that routine! Also, I noticed it had an effect on my pores and skin texture. After cleansing, my pores definitely seemed smaller and my skin texture felt smoother! 2. Texture The soft texture melts gently on the skin, making it great for massaging! If you were expecting a scrub-like texture because it's called 'Deep Clear', look for a different product instead! 3. After-feel It feels a bit oily when rinsed with water. Even when using a foam cleanser afterward, the skin feels coated and soft. As someone with dry skin, I liked this, but those with oily skin might not enjoy it as much.

  1. Amount I found that I needed more product per use than I expected. It seems like the number of uses I can get from one container is less than I initially thought. 2. Spatula The spatula is supposed to be fixed to the lid, but every time I opened it to use the product, it had fallen off.   I absolutely love this! As someone who prefers simplicity and one-step routines, this product is perfect. It's wonderfully hydrating and gentle on the eyes, which is crucial for me. It effortlessly removes all makeup - lip, eye, everything - with just a small amount. It seems to provide a deep cleanse too (though it's hard to tell for sure, but I've noticed less sebum production). My skin feels so moisturized after use.   This product removed my makeup effectively and seems to be the best at clearing out pores among all the cleansing oils/balms I've tried! Usually, I can't see my sebum unless I press on my nose area, and it's been hard to remove with other cleansing oils and balms, even with thorough massaging. While this one isn't miraculously effective, it's definitely the best I've used so far (compared to Hanskin cleansing oil and Banila Co cleansing balm) for getting rid of those stubborn blemishes!

  Cons

  First off, the amount is quite small, so it'll probably run out quickly. When you consider the price-to-quantity ratio, it's a bit disappointing. Also, you'll likely need to follow up with a second cleanse. I always do a double cleanse regardless of the product, but this one doesn't leave your skin feeling fresh enough to skip it. Looking at the ingredients now, they're not ideal. While it's fine for me as I don't have sensitive skin, those with ingredient sensitivities might find it difficult to use.
