Used for about a year. As it's a mineral sunscreen, there's a slight white cast, but it applies smoothly. It's not too thick, but thicker than organic sunscreens (as expected). At first, the white cast feels a bit awkward, but after spreading it well and giving it time, you get a nice brightening effect. However, it's important to apply this after your base skincare has fully absorbed. If you rush to apply it before absorption, you might experience pilling. Overall, it seems pretty good.
ConsThere aren't really any downsides. No eye irritation, and it was comfortable to use as a mineral sunscreen. If I had to mention one drawback, it would be that since it's in a tube, sometimes it suddenly squirts out or pours out all at once.

Color: As advertised, it has a subtle green tint for brightening! Glow: Leaves a beautiful Inner Glow after application Sensitivity: Gentle enough for blemish-prone skin! Transfer: Minimal transfer onto dark clothing.
ConsWhile marketed as a green-tinted product for neutralizing redness, it didn't quite meet expectations. It helps with minor redness but isn't perfect. For more complete coverage, a color corrector might be necessary.

As someone with sun allergies, I prioritize sun protection, and I've been using this without any blemishes. I'm satisfied with how well it covers dark spots and pigmentation. When comparing it side-by-side with a non-brightening sunscreen, the difference was significant. The texture isn't thick or hard to spread - it applies smoothly. I was worried my face might look ghostly white if I only used this, but it looked fine and became more natural over time. Overall, I'm pleased with both its sun protection (SPF PA++++ 50) and brightening effects. It's especially great for summer when layering multiple products can feel heavy. When I'm at home or running errands nearby, I can just apply this alone. It adequately covers imperfections and gives my face a brighter look, so I'll likely use it often.
ConsAfter using it for about two months, I'm almost out. Perhaps because I have dry skin, I feel it's a bit drying when used alone. I've been mixing it with another sunscreen without brightening effects.
TipFor those with dry skin in winter, it might be good to mix this with a hydrating or nourishing cream.

It spreads easily without clumping, which I found very satisfying. Tone-up effect: With its green base, it's great for those with redness or flushing. It helps cover facial redness to some extent. The brightening effect looks natural, not like a floating white mask on your face. Eye sensitivity: Unlike chemical sunscreens that often sting my eyes, this mineral sunscreen caused no eye irritation. Blemishes: True to its calming ingredients, this sunscreen didn't cause any blemishes. However, I'm not sure if it actively provides a soothing effect when applied.
ConsIt's a bit rich for oily skin types. It probably won't work as a standalone product in summer. You might need to use it under a matte foundation or cushion compact.

However, this product is wonderfully hydrating despite being mineral-based! It's amazing how this feels for a mineral sunscreen. 💛 Great under cushion foundation Since it's on the moisturizing side, I tried using it as a base for makeup. It didn't cause pilling or separation and worked well with my cushion! I'll likely use them together often. 💛 Can be used without foundation While everyone's desired level of brightening differs, for me it provides a natural brightening effect that I could use on its own. 💛 No eye irritation My eye area is somewhat sensitive, but even when I applied it liberally, there was no stinging sensation.
ConsSo far, I haven't found any major drawbacks. Perhaps those with oily skin might feel it's a bit rich when first applied?
TipThe green tone-correcting effect could help those with redness in their complexion!

But I could use this without any blemishes or major dryness. It's not thick at all when applying, and with a little care, it spreads evenly. The white cast is just right for a nice brightening effect, making it good for a foundation-free look. (For reference, the amount in the photo is what I always use on my face!) Actually, when first applied, it feels slightly thinner and richer than the Espoir pink sunscreen, to the point where makeup might pill if applied immediately. But interestingly, after about 30 minutes, it settles perfectly! It leaves a non-drying feeling without any greasiness.
ConsAs mentioned above, the rich, smooth feeling when applying wasn't really to my liking, as I'm used to mineral sunscreens. However, it becomes really clean after 30 minutes, so it's not an issue for me!
TipIt's best to wait a while after applying sunscreen before putting on makeup!

The tone-up sun cream I used before was thick and difficult to apply, but this product spreads on smoothly and feels soft and moisturizing. I'm not a frequent user of tone-up sun creams, but this is the most satisfactory one I've tried in terms of application. Since it's the 'Green' tone-up sun cream, it has a slight greenish tint. It doesn't have the color payoff of a color corrector or makeup base, but it provides a natural one-to-half-tone brightening effect. These days, I just wear sun cream and it has been nicely brightening my complexion. The finish is quite moisturizing. It's not overly shiny, but since I have oily skin and bangs, I did some light powder application on the T-zone. As a Hwahae Trial Reviewer, I used this during a period when my skin condition was not great, but the soothing ingredients seemed to help me use it without any irritation.
ConsSlather on the sun cream! Since this is a tone-up sun cream, it's difficult to apply the proper amount. When I first used it, I carelessly squeezed out a large amount like my regular sun cream, and almost turned into an egg ghost... You need to be careful with the application amount. If you use too much, it won't absorb well and will just sit on the skin. In the summer, I think I'll need to apply this on top of another non-whitening sun cream, but that's an extra step that's a bit annoying...
TipDon't squeeze out a lot at once. Try applying it in small amounts and adjust as you go!

Compared to sun gels or organic UV filters, it didn't feel as smooth going on, but I had no major issues spreading it evenly with my hands. Brightening and color As the name suggests, this sunscreen seems to have a brightening function. At first, I wondered how a sunscreen with brightening would be any different from white cast, but it felt like it naturally brightened my skin by about 0.3745 shades rather than leaving a chalky appearance. However, it's so subtle that even the person applying it might question if there's any brightening effect at all. You can see a slight difference right after application, making you think 'Oh, it's brightening!', but after some time, it's hard to tell. Personally, I don't care much for the brightening function, so this was fine for me. Speaking of color, the product claims to help with blemishes, and for this purpose, it has a light blue tint. But don't expect too much coverage. It might be good for those with a lot of redness in their complexion.
ConsScent It has that typical inorganic UV filter sunscreen smell, like a strong ocean scent. It seems unavoidable due to the ingredients, but this scent lasts quite a while. When I applied it around my nose, it felt like I was at the beach in summer, soaked in seawater before showering. Additionally, this might just be me, but when I sweated and it got into my eyes, it stung quite a bit. I'm not sure if there's a connection, but those sensitive to eye irritation might want to be cautious.

Some mineral sunscreens can feel thick and hard to spread, so I pay attention to the texture. My skin is really sensitive to irritation, and using thick products can immediately cause a reaction. This product, however, has great absorption. It spreads smoothly and feels moisturizing, which put me at ease right away. As it's a mineral sunscreen that provides instant brightening, the application is crucial. I liked that it spread evenly without clumping. I once tried Dr. X's green mineral sunscreen and it made my face feel so tight it was almost painful - I never looked at it again after one use. This product, on the other hand, is a completely hydrating type, so there's no need to worry about that. I'm a fan of the Real Barrier Extreme Cream, and this sunscreen is also gentle on the skin for a mineral type. It doesn't feel as heavy, making it good for reapplication. Surprisingly, it worked well with makeup too - my cushion foundation didn't pill. It provides a slight brightening effect, evening out skin tone, so I found I could use less foundation overall.
ConsIt's perfect to use now, but in the peak of summer, this level of hydration might feel a bit warm. It should be fine for other seasons though. Also, as it has a brightening effect, if you apply the full recommended amount, it might make your skin look too white. I've been trying to use the correct amount of sunscreen lately, but this is an issue with most sunscreens...
TipInstead of applying the full amount at once, try splitting it into two applications for better results.

Eye irritation, which I consider the second most important factor after application, is non-existent, and the sun protection is excellent The brightening effect, with its slight green tint, naturally evens out minor redness while brightening the complexion Overall, I got the impression that this is a very well-crafted sunscreen
ConsSunscreens these days seem to be so well-made... I couldn't really find any drawbacks
TipApply thinly in multiple layers for a perfect base before makeup!
