ConsThe tone-up product seems to have caused a slight whitening effect. It appears that I'll need to apply it in several thin layers.ㅋㅋㅋ

Since there aren't many sunscreens on the market with only zinc oxide, I switched from Goodal to Real Barrier sunscreen for its tone-up effect. I'm thrilled with how the green base neutralizes redness and gradually blends into a natural shade that complements my complexion. The texture is surprisingly smooth for a mineral sunscreen, not at all like typical zinc formulas. As someone with super sensitive skin who couldn't even consider base makeup before, I think I've found my holy grail sunscreen in this product!
ConsThere's nothing negative to report! Though it's worth noting that, like most mineral sunscreens, it can tend to clump a bit when you sweat.
TipMineral sunscreens can become drying over time, so make sure to apply a generous layer of moisturizer before using this product.

I've been trying to find a gentle one for months, and luckily, I got selected as a Hwahae Tester to try this product. The texture is non-sticky and applies smoothly. It's a brightening moisturizer that noticeably evens out my complexion. Most importantly, it feels genuinely gentle on my skin. Unlike other sunscreens that often caused redness and itching, this one thankfully didn't trigger any such reactions. That's what I really appreciated about it.
ConsThe only downside is that I wish it was a bit more hydrating. When I layered it multiple times and applied makeup on top, it seemed to pill slightly.
TipIt's important to control the amount you apply. I found that using too much at once made it difficult for the skin to absorb. It's better to apply it in small, gradual layers for the best results.

It's perfect for someone like me who quickly develops redness, almost like a flush, during hot summer days. True to its advertising, it's incredibly hydrating and absorbs well into the skin, leaving a soft, non-sticky finish. I can even apply my cushion foundation right after without any pilling. With frequent 1+1 promotions, it's quite affordable too. I'm definitely planning to purchase this myself once I finish this sample.
ConsSince I've only been using this product for a week, starting last Saturday when I received it, I can't really comment on its effectiveness in improving skin blemishes or other long-term benefits.

Real Barrier sunscreen for soothing that green-tinged redness! 1. Glides on smoothly with excellent absorption 2. The green tint isn't dull and naturally neutralizes redness 3. Brightens without caking, love how it evens skin tone 4. Doesn't clog pores, and with Cica ingredients, it's great for sensitive skin too
ConsNo major drawbacks, though while it evens skin tone, the coverage could be better
TipI recommend mixing it with BB cream for enhanced results

Color: As advertised, it has a subtle green tint for brightening! Glow: Leaves a beautiful Inner Glow after application Sensitivity: Gentle enough for blemish-prone skin! Transfer: Minimal transfer onto dark clothing.
ConsWhile marketed as a green-tinted product for neutralizing redness, it didn't quite meet expectations. It helps with minor redness but isn't perfect. For more complete coverage, a color corrector might be necessary.

It leaves the skin feeling moisturized with a fresh finish. I haven't tried it in hot weather yet, but the texture suggests it won't feel too sticky even when you sweat. Scent: It's unscented, which I prefer. I don't like strong fragrances in skincare products, and fragrance-free options are usually less irritating for the skin! Color: It has a green tint, which should be great for reducing redness, especially as we approach summer. When first applied, it looks green, but as you spread it, it provides a brightening effect that makes your skin look fairer! Blemishes: After using it for 1-2 weeks, I haven't experienced any blemishes, and it seems gentle without causing irritation. It contains Cica ingredients, but I'll need to use it longer to fully assess its soothing effects. Packaging: The container is sturdy and hygienic with its squeeze-type design. Personally, I love how pretty and durable the packaging is!
ConsPrice: While the volume isn't too small, the price is a bit on the higher side. I wish it went on sale more often. Other than that, I haven't noticed any significant drawbacks yet!

It glides on so smoothly you might think it's a hybrid oil cleanser. Even when you sweat, it doesn't sting your eyes. Being fragrance-free, there's no unpleasant smell, and it pairs well with foundation.
ConsWhen using it as a foam cleanser, there's a slight residue left, so you might need to pay extra attention to thorough cleansing.

Natural brightening effect When I first applied it, the light green, moisturizing formula spread smoothly. It initially appeared whiter than expected. You could think of it as a blend of organic sunscreen texture with the white cast of mineral sunscreen. After 1-2 minutes, the white cast gradually absorbs, resulting in a more natural color that evens skin tone nicely. It definitely makes your complexion appear lighter than before application. 2. Extremely hydrating application Unlike some products that start off moisturizing but become dry and stiff as you apply, this one maintains its hydrating quality from start to finish. It spreads easily and smoothly across the entire face without any discomfort whatsoever. 3. Fragrance-free There's absolutely no scent, not even from the raw ingredients. This makes it suitable for those with sensitive noses, as it won't trigger any likes or dislikes based on fragrance.
Cons1. Oiliness As someone with oily skin, I prefer a more matte finish, especially as the weather starts to warm up. This product takes some time to set to a less dewy finish, so if you head out immediately after application, your face might look a bit shiny. The photo shows how it looks right after application on the back of my hand under LED lighting, so you can see the level of shine.

It's a cream formula that spreads smoothly! The sunscreen itself has a light greenish tint, but when applied to the face, it appears white with a slight brightening effect. Regarding blemishes and richness, there's a slight oily feeling right after application, but if you gently blot with a tissue, it doesn't feel overly greasy. I've been using the product for about ten days, and I haven't experienced any major breakouts or worsening of existing blemishes. For makeup compatibility and recommended skin types, due to its rich texture, it might pair better with matte base products. When I used it with a dewy cushion, the base seemed to break down faster. It would be great for oily skin types in winter, while those with dry skin could use it well throughout all seasons.
ConsRegarding oiliness and slight breakdown, as I have combination dehydrated skin, my skin tends to produce more oil when the weather gets warmer. Yes, it does seem to make my skin a bit oilier. On warmer days, there's some shine after applying the sunscreen, but that's somewhat unavoidable for oily skin types. I'd recommend this more for those with dry skin!
TipUsing a spatula to apply helps spread it thinly and evenly, avoiding any clumping. The smooth application made it a great match! For those with oily skin, after application, use half a tissue (since it's two-ply, use one layer!) to remove excess oil from your face. Following up with powder is also a good idea!
