ConsThe tone-up product seems to have caused a slight whitening effect. It appears that I'll need to apply it in several thin layers.ㅋㅋㅋ

When my previous brand discontinued their product, I was searching for a replacement and chose this one as it's quite similar. The only difference is that this formula is a bit thicker, but everything else is comparable, so I've stocked up and continue using it. Personally, I think I'll keep using this sunscreen, as long as it doesn't get discontinued.
ConsSome people find the green sunscreen uncomfortable due to its white cast, but that's usually because they're not applying the right amount. Of course, as it's a brightening moisturizer, it's meant to lighten the skin. If you spread it thinly, the brightening effect looks natural when you apply foundation.
TipIt's especially essential when I have blemishes, as it contains cica ingredients that cover redness and calm the skin, so I use it year-round. A pro tip: since it's a mineral sunscreen, it can pill, so make sure to apply your skincare well before using this product.

This product caught my eye because it combines tone-evening and sun protection functions, which seemed convenient! Contrary to my expectations, it had a surprisingly rich and elastic texture. Despite its green color, I wondered if it would have a color-correcting effect, but it didn't! Instead of a matte finish, this gentle sunscreen unexpectedly leaves the skin hydrated with quite a nice glow.
ConsOn the downside, the tone-evening effect wasn't as natural as I'd hoped. It left a white cast similar to mineral sunscreens, which was a bit disappointing. The texture also felt somewhat stiff rather than smooth, so it didn't absorb as well as I would have liked!

But I decided to try this product during an event and share my thoughts. Most sunscreens I've used before felt heavy and cakey, leaving me unsatisfied even when applied for UV protection in summer. However, the standout feature of this product is how well it absorbs. It adheres to the skin nicely when patted in, without feeling heavy or cumbersome. While I haven't experienced extremely sweaty conditions yet, it's comfortable enough for daily use. The second advantage, as the name suggests, is that it's a brightening moisturizer sunscreen. It contains a green tint, providing a color-correcting effect similar to a green makeup base. When you don't feel like applying multiple products, this one can provide decent coverage on its own. Although I haven't used it long enough to be certain about potential blemish issues, I haven't experienced any irritation so far. If it suits your skin type, I think this could be a lightweight and comfortable product to use.
ConsAs mentioned briefly in the pros, being a tone-up product means it has a slight white cast, which is characteristic of sunscreens. So it's essential to use the right amount and ensure it's fully absorbed into the skin. Also, this might be a personal preference, but I'm not fond of the scent that lingers after application and absorption. It doesn't seem to have any added fragrance, just the natural smell of the ingredients or processing, but I personally don't like it. Lastly, while this doesn't apply to me, the price point is a bit high for the amount of product you get. That's about all I can say without having used it for a long time. I hope this helps others in their purchasing decisions.

I was curious and applied for The Hwahae Testers, and when I got selected, I eagerly opened it and tried it out. Usually, I only apply sunscreen with a sponge, but since this is a brightening moisturizer and part of The Hwahae Testers program, I also tried applying it with my hands and used it diligently. My impression after use... It's more hydrating than I expected. Being a brightening moisturizer, I was somewhat prepared, but it doesn't have a dry feel. If you apply the recommended amount (for oily skin), you might find your skin feeling greasy and heavy. The brightening effect goes on like a white cast, definitely giving the feeling of lightening your complexion by a shade. Whether applied with hands or a sponge, the brightening effect is the same, just varying in intensity, so I'm just comfortably using a sponge to apply it.
ConsIt claims to be 'matte but moisturized', but I couldn't feel any mattifying effect. After applying the sunscreen all over my face with my hands, I felt an oiliness or shininess on my face, and when it felt too heavy, I sometimes even blotted it off later with a sponge. So I thought it was a hybrid sunscreen, but I was surprised to learn it's actually a mineral sunscreen. The brightening effect went on almost like a white cast for me, and as time passed, it faded along with the skin's oiliness, leaving me feeling that it's quite disappointing to use alone for complexion correction. It definitely feels different from applying foundation, perhaps because it's just a sunscreen. Since I have a lot of blemishes, it made my skin look messy, so I'm just using the sunscreen as a base and layering foundation on top. If you have oily skin, I recommend using this in fall and winter. If you have dry skin, you might be okay with the rich texture.

Being a mineral sunscreen, it seems safe for sensitive skin to use without worry. It's also great that it can reduce redness and provide coverage. Application: It has a mint tint, probably to cover redness like a makeup base. The absorption was good. It finished with a soft, powdery feel - neither too oily nor too matte.
ConsAs it's a brightening moisturizer with SPF, I'm not sure if it's a tone-up effect or white cast... For me, I noticed a slight powdery appearance around my philtrum and hairline. It wasn't severe, but personally, I prefer a more glowy texture. However, it kept my skin hydrated underneath and didn't cause any deep dryness.

I was lucky enough to be chosen as one of The Hwahae Testers for this product. Although I don't usually wear much makeup besides sunscreen, this brightening moisturizer with SPF really evens out my skin tone effectively. It seems to brighten my complexion even more than the B.plane mineral sunscreen. It's also water and sweat-resistant, so it stays put even if water splashes on your face. After application, it leaves a matte finish, making it ideal for those with oily skin.
ConsSince it's a brightening moisturizer with SPF, it noticeably brightens the skin, which might not be suitable for those who dislike a white cast. Also, while it didn't cause any blemishes that made my skin itch, I personally found it a bit disappointing as it caused slight redness on both of my cheeks. This might be due to my sensitive and thin skin.
